GGuest UserThe toilet was clogged. Our key cards kept malfunctioning, and we had to get them reset several times to access our room. The facilities felt a bit worn. On a positive note, we were able to keep the same room. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the included breakfast was comprehensive, and the air conditioning worked very well.

CCarmen CarmelinaVery unique looking decor. Everything looked new and was very clean. Super amenities. I prefer hotels to Air BnB and this had the extras like a stove, fridge, cooking pots and pans, dishes, utensils, kettle, and a N'Espresso machine. There is even a Metro grocery store around the corner and restaurants outside The downsides are that it appears to be in an ”interesting” part of town (I would not be comfortable walking alone as a woman), and stairs, no elevator. It was a challenge to bring up the luggage even to the second level. Otherwise a great place in Quebec City and within walking distance to the train station, which is why I chose it.

GGuest UserPros: Clean and hygienic environment, with unlimited breakfast. Cons: No teacups, kettle, mouthwash cups, or hairdryer in the room. Toilet trash and towels are changed every 3 days, and the room is cleaned only once a week.

GGuest UserJust a few minutes from the Upper Promenade, with a lovely casual feeling and comfortable rooms. Shared toilet but always very clean and never a wait. Front desk staff were really friendly. Enjoyed the shared coffee, kettle, microwave and fridge at reception. An enjoyable 3 night stay. Recommended.

GGuest UserPros: The rooms are big, clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. The breakfast is quite abundant and varied; it would only need some boiled eggs, cheese, or another source of protein to be perfect. The reception staff are friendly and polite. Cons: The pet fee is ridiculously high ($40, and they also charge taxes on top of that, which makes no sense). Total = $46. It is the highest pet fee I paid during my trip from Montreal to Calgary. For example, in Ontario, Winnipeg, and Saskatchewan, many motels don’t even charge a pet fee. What some other places do is charge a refundable deposit in case of damages, rather than a non-refundable fee for no particular reason. For this reason, I would not return. Noise: You can hear absolutely everything from the adjacent rooms. In fact, a couple was arguing quite loudly and aggressively during my stay, including shouting, which affected my sense of safety. Staff members who were nearby at the time, should be vigilant and intervene in this kind of situation.

SSandra MacauI was really surprised by this hotel. The hotel is small and not in the centre but it is well located, you can walk to the centre or take the metro (there’s a station really netas the hotel), and it was a really good value for money. The staff is nice, speak English and French and were really helpful. The room was big enough for the 3 of us and had all amenities needed. The view… well, it was for the other rooms so we just kept the curtains closed. There is a living room with coffee for guests that I liked. Breakfast was also better than I was expecting and we just got our drink from the lounge and took to the breakfast room. It’s a simple breakfast but had scrambled eggs, fruit, pastries, yogurt, cereal… They don’t have parking but there’s a car public park 2 minutes away. We left the car there and walked to the old Montreal.

GGuest UserI had an outstanding stay at this hotel and would gladly return. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Check-in was quick, and I appreciated how clearly everything was explained. We came to ski at Le Massif, Mont-Sainte-Anne, and Stoneham, and stayed for three nights. The location was very convenient — about 20 minutes from Le Massif and 15 minutes from Mont-Sainte-Anne. The price was very affordable, and the whole place was extremely clean. There’s no breakfast included, but the hotel has a large shared kitchen that is fully equipped: lots of pots and pans, plates, utensils, and even cooking oil, salt, pepper, and some snacks — all free. There are plenty of dining tables, and there’s also a pool table where we could relax in the evenings. Overall, this hotel was comfortable, convenient, and a great value. I would definitely recommend it and would be happy to stay here again.

Oontheroad2001The room did not have much evaluation, and the quality of service needed to be written. The boss is Chinese and very good. The front desk is uneven. The big man on Monday night is the only one who is reliable. The worst thing is the uncle on Tuesday night, who has no truth in his mouth, and is raped and stupid. It is a miracle that such a miracle can find a job.
