Yiyi Homestay is the best I've ever stayed at. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming; they even stored our luggage for free. The location is perfect – just a few steps from Daoli Market (a morning and evening food street), and St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street aren't far either. There's also the New 100 Mall, an underground shopping area, Yibinzhi Home downstairs, and the KFC next door is a must-try (coming from a Malaysian baby 👶)! If you're still cold, don't be shy to ask for a heater. They even offer to lend money if your WeChat Pay runs out – I'm so grateful for Ruoyi's incredible service! The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable, just as pictured, with city views from the window, including St. Sophia Cathedral, which is stunning at night. You'll never be short of places to eat. Diagonally opposite the Central Street subway 🚇, there are many fruit stalls with fresh selections. Across from the fruit stall, there's an underground eatery – I highly recommend the black rice porridge for only RMB 3, along with other authentic local delicacies at great prices.

I had such a great experience at Mudong Youth Hostel in Harbin! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. They create such a warm and positive atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. What I really loved is that it’s also a very good workplace environment. The space is comfortable, well-organized, and perfect if you need to get things done while traveling. It’s quiet enough to focus, yet still has that nice social hostel vibe. Overall, a great place to stay in Harbin — friendly people, good energy, and a productive environment. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed at Pai Hotel near Sofia Church and Central Street and it was a solid choice. Location is excellent for sightseeing, and getting around by Didi is easy. Staff were patient and helpful during check-in, even using a translator app. Room was simple but clean with daily housekeeping. Lobby has free hot water, a microwave, and luggage storage. Heating was good during winter. Just note that rooms facing the train can be noisy.

The service was absolutely impeccable. From the warm and professional reception at the front desk to the thoughtful care from the housekeeping staff, every detail made me feel incredibly welcome. When they learned I was visiting for tourism, the staff even proactively offered detailed travel guides and local food recommendations, which were very useful. Moreover, the hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation nearby, including a subway station and bus stops. This made it easy to get around, whether for sightseeing or business. The surrounding area was well-equipped with amenities like convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping malls. The room was spotless, perfect for students needing a break from intense final exam studying to relax and order some delicious takeout.

The public transport is quite convenient, with the train station and subway station not far, about a ten-minute walk. Right downstairs, there's an airport shuttle bus for 20 yuan/person (I recommend taking the bus, as taxis to the airport incur a 30 yuan highway toll). Downstairs, there's a KFC, and nearby are McDonald's, Dicos, and plenty of other small shops. You need a card to get upstairs, which feels very secure. Deliveries are left directly on a table outside your door, which is very handy. The hygiene and facilities are decent, and the room is quite comfortable. The only downside is that every night after 10 PM, someone is constantly shouting – I'm not sure if they're touting for business or what, and I've even heard it at 1 or 2 AM. Luckily, I'm usually so tired from sightseeing that I fall asleep and don't hear it anymore...

Our whole group, big and small, managed to fit in with four large beds. You can see the Hagia Sophia right from the window – it's absolutely stunning! We can't praise it enough and highly recommend it. There's a supermarket and a morning market nearby, and it's just a short taxi ride to the Harbin Ice and Snow World and other attractions.

The room is fully equipped, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the air conditioning temperature is suitable, the hot water is stable, the network is smooth, all kinds of supplies are available, it is very convenient to use, and it can fully meet the daily needs of occupancy. The service is even more intimate, the staff has questions and answers, the response to problems is timely, the attitude is gentle and patient, and people feel very valued. The sanitation and cleaning are particularly meticulous, the floor of the room is clean and dust-free, the bathroom is clean and odor-free, the toiletries are neatly arranged, the bedding towels are clean as new, and the corner details are handled in place. This hotel is fantastic! I was traveling with my child, and even though I booked a single capsule, they upgraded us to a double. The location is incredibly convenient, right inside the terminal building, so you can literally just grab your bags and head straight to your flight. And the price? Super affordable, great for anyone on a budget. Thumbs up! They also have showers and a laundry room. I honestly can't recommend this place enough!

Given its location, this hotel was never going to be cheap. Hotel prices in Harbin, especially on Central Street, get pretty ridiculous in winter, so that's understandable. However, if you're particular about cleanliness, I wouldn't recommend it.
