2-Star Hotels in Xinjiang, China

Hands down one of the best hostels I've experienced on my journey. The interior decor is full of authentic ethnic charm. The common areas are spacious and bright, making it a great spot to mingle with fellow travelers from all corners of the world. There are plenty of clean restrooms and showers, and the cleaning staff are very diligent. It's also the first hostel I've stayed at that offers complimentary breakfast, with the staff preparing delicious naan, eggs, and milk – a truly thoughtful and attentive touch. I would absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Kashgar!

Staff were helpful. The location was near the train station which is great for walking. The hostel has a large lobby and communal area for hanging out and chilling. Lots of amenities. Water is free to refill. Beds and toilets were clean and well-equipped with hair dryers. Really pleasant stay and would highly recommend this place for solo travellers.

We paid 234 per night in early September. The hotel didn't quite feel like a proper hotel, especially with our street-facing room. The first-floor restaurant and elevators were perpetually crowded. The second and third floors seemed to be popular venues for local weddings and gatherings, which was quite interesting. My biggest complaint was about the complimentary water. We were supposed to get two bottles a day, so for our two-night stay, we should have received four. However, after consuming those, they refused to provide more, claiming they had run out. It's quite disheartening that a hotel of this size and supposed reputation would disappoint guests over just two bottles of mineral water. We often shop until late and sleep in, but even by 2 PM, our room hadn't been cleaned. There was no toilet paper or trash bags, which was truly unacceptable. The service was completely lacking; there were even stickers from a previous guest's wedding still stuck to our door. The only positive was the polite attendant at the entrance who directed parking and held doors open. On the other hand, it was incredibly frustrating that the front desk was consistently unattended whenever we needed assistance.

The room is new, well-equipped, intelligent, very convenient, and of a moderate size, allowing for a good rest. Disadvantages: The breakfast is very poor, and you are not allowed to eat the buffet. You can only eat the fixed set meal they provide, which is a pancake, an egg, and a bowl of millet porridge. You can't eat full at all. The restaurant waiter kept telling the guests ”You can't eat the buffet, you can only eat the set meal” while carrying the dishes, and his saliva sprayed into the dishes, which was disgusting. Also, the security guard just sat there and browsed his phone, and didn't help in any way. The door to the hall was very tight, and he didn't help even if I couldn't push the door open with my luggage. It was quite poor.

The rooms are clean and hygienic without any peculiar smell. The staff is very friendly. The facilities are complete and there is a fully automatic washing machine. It is cost-effective. It is conveniently located on the main road. There are many places to eat downstairs. Parking downstairs is convenient and free. It is the first choice for business trips and entertainment.

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the sound insulation is good, the service staff is enthusiastic and professional, the location is convenient for transportation, although breakfast is not included, there are many dining options nearby, and there is free parking. The overall stay experience is very satisfactory and recommended [strong] [strong]!

The location of the hotel is fantastic. Transportation is convenient and it is located at the entrance of Gucheng old city. There are many restaurants and shopping places around. The hotel front desk uncle and aunt are very friendly and active. Very cheap and clean. For backpackers, it is as comfortable as at home. If I come to Kashgar again, I would like to stay at this hotel.

It was our first night in china and I immediately fell in love with the host and the location. The atmosphere is amazing, the spirits are near and you accepted as a part of the group the moment you step into it. The host showed us the greatest noodle palace I have ever seen and it’s around the corner. There is an intense party district within 15 minutes of walking. All your wishes will come true in Kailash! Would book again and already thinking about returning in the future. 10/10 would highly recommend.

The building is not a proper hotel as it occupies three floors of an apartment building. The building is damaged and there are peeling walls in various places. The first room we were given did not have air conditioning (although the reservation information said it had air conditioning), so we requested a room change and the problem was solved. However, the new room did not have a TV. The front desk is open 24 hours a day, but there was no one there at 8am. You may have trouble leaving your luggage. The cleaning staff works hard and keeps the rooms as clean as possible. Wi-Fi is good. There is a simple restaurant and a convenience store on the first floor of the building.

This is my favorite accommodation during my trip to Kashgar and Taskul. The owner's aunt here is so cool and nice !! There was no problem with checking in for foreigners, and the location is convenient near Food Street and Seokdujeong. The hostel is clean, and there's everything you need in the first floor shared living room. I couldn't be together because I didn't have time, but every evening, my Chinese friends staying at the hostel asked me where they were going and where they were going. It was like a guest house in Jeju Island. If I have more time, I want to stay here and look around Tascuergan more. I recommend it !!
