My stay was absolutely perfect! The hotel is right next to the train station, which makes getting around super easy, especially for early morning departures or late-night arrivals. The cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless, and all the facilities were well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were passing by Kunming and only needed to stay one night. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and the room was lovely and had everything we needed. Location was the best part, the hotel was in the livelypedestrian area but was also close to the streets so we didn't have to carry our luggage far to get a Didi.

The location is excellent, very close to Kunming Station, the pedestrian street, and Cuihu Park. The room is also spacious enough. The only downside is the excessive smoking in public areas; it's pervasive. For someone trying to work in a quiet spot, I had to move three times. There's a corner in the restaurant that I suspect is directly opposite the second-floor restroom. Every time someone flushes upstairs, it's incredibly loud, like dirty water is being splashed directly on you. Also, the Wi-Fi is too slow.

Excellent value for money! The environment, cleanliness, and service were all impeccable. I truly experienced the slow pace and gentle charm of Lijiang here. Next time I'm in Lijiang, I'll definitely choose this place again. I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends visiting the old town!

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. As a solo traveller who likes to explore I was glad I chose this place The tour buses to most recommended attractions are just around the corner, town bus stops, restaurants and food stalls, Shwedagon Pagoda, Starlight Night Market and Mekong River Six States Floating Market are easy to walk to. The boss was also helpful. Checked that my WIFI worked and helped to book a taxi to the train station The standards overall are good.

The hotel has a great location, right in Jianshui Ancient Town, with free parking right outside.
The guesthouse is decorated in a very stylish way. The rooms are on the third floor, with a huge living room and a view of the lake near the Confucian Temple – a beautiful view indeed.
The rooms are quite large, with a wooden interior design. It's not far from Lotus Island and Xianghui Bridge bus station.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with amazing natural light ✨.
It's super close to the ancient city; we just parked our car at the hotel and walked, which made exploring so easy and stress-free. The hotel even has its own dedicated parking area, and the owner was incredibly welcoming and even saved us a parking spot!
Seriously, from the price, cleanliness, location, to the service, everything was top-notch. The value for money is off the charts – I highly recommend staying here!

I really love staying at here but i got rashes while staying here😆 overall the locatiom is very strategic because near with main road, bike rental shop, south gate ancient town & zhongyi market...i really recommend to stay near south gate instead of north especially for muslim because easy to find halal food near hotel and it is more quieter...overall is nice, the hotel owner is really helpful and caring❤️

LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.

The environment was beautiful, and the rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the Cangshan sunrise and sunset, overlooking the ancient city – truly delightful. The room was bathed in warm sunlight, and enjoying tea while gazing at the ancient city from the bay window was a real treat. The owners were incredibly kind, warm, and genuine, always ready to help with any request. They gave us practical tips and food recommendations that didn't disappoint. There's also a very friendly dog named Wangcai and two adorable cats. When we left, they even helped us with our checked luggage, showing genuine care for their guests. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends and will choose it again if I ever return. I'm currently in a Lijiang B&B, unable to sleep, and the contrast makes me miss that place even more – it had a special kind of warmth.

Now, where do I begin, first of? if you sre arriving at this place via didi or taxi straight from the airport, do yourself a favour and get dropped off outside and walk to the entrance of the ”hotel”. If you get dropped off inside the underground parking lot, Goodluck to your driver finding the spot to drop you off that connects to the hotels' elevator (its a maze and once u get there, it looks sketchy but its alright).
Now, for the location: the location is superb! You're legit right beside a large mall with Tonssssss of restaurants to eat at even late at night! It is simply very convenient. And if you dont mind walking, there's another mall down south thats about 15mins walk. Lots of things to do.
The lobby, the receptionist were kind and warm. They provided water whenever asked and didn't hesitate to help where they could. The free tea upfront, although we didn't fully utilize, was a nice touch.
Now for the room: we selected the largest room they had which had 3 bedrooms. The price? It was insanely good. Almost unheard of. It was between 50-70 Canadian during the time of booking. I couldn't believe it.
But not all hotels are perfect, and i have to say some of the things i experienced could definitely be improved.
The restroom area had some scent to it that I couldn't point out as to what the smell is. I had to leave the exhaust fan on to ensure a neutral atmosphere. It worked fyi.
The living room: is huge but tell me how there's only a 2-3 people sofa available and one small chair and a table. Its a wasted space. It ought to offer a large lounging furniture at this kind of room. It felt bare.
The windows: simply put, although they installed windows capable of sound deadening, the weather stripping and the latch simply doesnt bond the gaps efficiently. Meaning, coldness of the night still finds its way. Luckily, the hvac system works and the curtains are relatively thick and also automatic (adjust at will).
The beds are ultra clean and the floors were relatively spotless.
But there's honestly one thing that is have to think about if I ever decide to rebook. I personally don't smoke, and i requested for a deodorizing treatment for our room prior to coming. The room itself? It didn't smell like cigarettes which was awesome, but here's something I don't see bring possible to address: at night time, while I lay down and sleep, there is a smell of people smoking cigarettes whose odour is somehow able to travel through the air ducts. Like each and every night, it was the same ordeal. My son didn't say anything, my parents inlaw didn't say anything, but my wife and I, yeah we smelled it.
It isnt like as if you're beside someone smoking cigarettes, but its more like a scent that goes along with the air in the room that suggest someone had smoked, just unsure when.
Other than that, sure, the beds, pillows and comforters were all clean and comfy.
Honestly, my family was OK with the room. The convenience and price is really really hard to beat. Like it is extremely beyond belief affordable. Perhaps id reconsider staying here again if we were in kunming. We'll see.

The shuttle service to/from the South High-Speed Rail Station was excellent. Overall, the service was truly impeccable, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse staff proactively contacted us to offer help with our luggage. They also have an incredibly cute Corgi you can pet, along with some beautiful cats. The room itself was quite nice and wasn't noisy at all. The bathroom's heating system was a huge plus for someone who gets cold easily. We were also treated to some complimentary flower pastries. When we checked out, the staff even helped carry our luggage out to where we could catch a ride.

This stay was truly captivating, and the owner's hospitality captivated me! My sister highly recommended this homestay in Dukezong Ancient Town. The owner, Zhuoma, proactively asked about our itinerary from the moment we booked. Upon arrival, she not only provided a detailed and practical guide to Shangri-La, but also shared tips on hidden gems and pitfalls to avoid. It was even more reliable than a handy guide.
The most heartwarming thing was that as soon as we dropped off our luggage, the owner brought us hot yak milk. It warmed me up and instantly dispelled my travel fatigue. The amenities were even more amazing. The entire home is equipped with smart home technology, allowing for voice control of lights and curtains, making it incredibly easy to use. The furniture is all brand new and high-quality, and it's clear the owner put a lot of thought into the renovations, making the stay both comfortable and technologically advanced.
The view from the window is incredibly thoughtful, and this homestay is simply divine!
The room I stayed in this time truly took full advantage of its ”view room” status. In the morning, as I pulled back the heavy blackout curtains, the view before me was breathtaking: directly across from me was the lush greenery of Guishan Park, and the large prayer wheel atop the mountaintop was so clear it seemed almost palpable. Especially in the evening, the setting sun cast a warm glow on the prayer wheel, and even the people circumambulating the park could be vaguely seen. I didn't have to squeeze into the crowds at the observation deck; I could quietly enjoy this unique view from my room. The photos I took and posted on WeChat Moments were met with inquiries about the address.
Even more touching was the thoughtful attention to detail at the B&B. Considering the local climate and altitude, an oxygen concentrator was pre-installed in the room. The owner came to teach me how to use it. When I occasionally felt a little hypoxic at night, I turned it on and immediately felt much better. Hanging in the closet was a thick, complimentary down jacket. The clean, simple design meant I didn't have to carry heavy clothing, and I wore it when I went out to visit the park or see the prayer wheels, offering both windproof and warmth. This thoughtful consideration of the guests' needs was even more heartwarming than the scenery itself. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting! When we checked out, the owner even prepared a Vajra knot, a local ******* gift, for my girlfriend and me. It was a thoughtful gesture, and it was truly heartwarming. The entire experience was not only comfortable, but also felt like visiting a friend's home. I've already recommended it to friends planning a trip, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

AAnonymous UserWhat was a bit frustrating was the odor in the bathroom of the first-floor room. It wasn't strong, but it was quite noticeable, probably from sewage backing up in the summer. I hope the owner can improve that... The bed creaked constantly, making a lot of noise when I turned over. The special items I saw when booking, like fruit and flower cakes, didn't seem to be there, and I was too embarrassed to ask the owner... Anyway, the dog was really cute, and that was about it.

The location is perfect for anyone visiting Dianchi, making it super easy to go see the seagulls whenever we wanted, saving us a lot of hassle. The room was clean and refreshing, tastefully decorated, and the sunlight streaming in made it feel so bright and airy. Sitting on the balcony at night, enjoying the breeze and a cup of tea, just melted away all the fatigue from work.
