Staff is very helpful, freindly and attentive. Helped us with all our questions and requests. Near the mIn road Beijing Lu, close to public transportation. Room was not very big, no a/c, but we knew that in advance. Had a cattle. Quite area. Ok for a short stay. Restaurants were nearby.

The hotel is located relatively close to the Shangcun drop-off point. The house is made of wood. You can see the lower village and snow-capped mountains while lying in the room. The view is very wide and the pictures were taken with the door open. Catering is provided and the taste is good.

The front desk upgraded the room, and the sanitation is pretty good. The main reason is that it is located in the city center, making it easy to visit various attractions in Kunming. The only drawback is that I was placed in a room at the end of the corridor. At night, I kept all the ghost movies I had watched in my mind. Been there again

I've stayed at this hostel for 5 days, in a male dorm once you get that place, you might be noticed that this hostel is a bit far from Lijiang old town but trust me, you will not like Lijiang old town it is too commercialized to feel the Nasi culture, and literally you will be in the middle of human waves, especially at night(cuz night food market is just next to it) Whilst this hostel is located nearest Suhe old town around 2 min away by foot if gate keeper ask you to pay entrance fare ( I never been asked) just take a detour, you don't need to pay also, baisha old town is also close, 10 RMB by taxi hostel owner Willy ( not sure about spelling) he speaks very good English, if you have any questions, he's willing to help you also other staffs are very friendly and nice👍 even there's two cutest cats! ( just if you have cat allergy, be aware of them, they only stay inside of reception room ) the other things you should know is, if you want to visit Jade dragon snow mountain by public transportation such as bus 🚌, you need to take another bus( bus station is just in front of hostel ) to chongyi market ( better need to take the bus here rather than other stations ), and the first bus of the day departs around 8:50 from hostel side so if you want to see earliest Jade dragon mountain, you better need to book an tour program or take 7 persons mini van or Taxi second thing is, I was in the 10 person's dorm and the shower room is inside of dorm, room condition is not 100% perfect, apart from your bed, so if you are the one that cannot sleep easily, maybe not a good choice for you, plus around 8 am, the town has a bit loud sound of Nasi style Azan songs, I woke up by that Azan sound 1 ~ 2 times but all the same, if i have a nice chance, I would comeback to this hostel, probably for long term stay in the future with my partner if you come to this hotel I hope you are also able to enjoy your trip, good luck!🫡

unique, excellent service, location, meals and room. Owner couple went out of their way to serve guests. They cooked the best meal in the area so no need to find food elsewhere. They arranged transport for us to go to Shangrila, Lijian Airport and the hiking trails. We were also invited to a wedding party in the Village high up i the mountain. Joyous celebration of dance and song with the whole village. our last day was the special day where the villagers slaughter their own pigs to make preserved meat. We were again invited to the farms high up in the mountain and had a most unique experience of live pig slaughtering and BBQ. No tour will ever offer this. As hotel, the accommodation is excellent for the price. Our room overlooks the gorge and mountain. The heated bed is great touch and comfort. Can see stars in the sky at night from the room balcony. Family run and treat guests like family. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. Friendly English-speaking owner, helpful staffs, a cute Alaskan Malamute couple... No wonder Xilu Xiaoxie Inn has a good reputation among foreigners. The location is easy to find. Our room has ”home sweet home” vibes. The owner sent one of his staffs to pick us up at Nanmen (south gate of Lijiang Old Town) because it would be difficult to drag our big luggages by ourselves without a trolley/carriage. He also help us managed our airport transfer. Overall, good memories.

A very satisfying stay experience, the store is very welcoming, and it is a store with a lot of cultural heritage. We dropped something in a hurry when we left, and the shopkeeper immediately called to ask how to send it to us after finding out. I also recommended the viewing route taken by the locals. Although it is not easy to walk, it is indeed a step-by-step view, which is so beautiful! Looking forward to the next trip!

Since it was a temporary decision to go to Dali, I hurriedly chose a hotel by feeling, and decided to renew the lease immediately after arriving! The price/performance ratio is very high, better than the more than 800 we ordered in Banna Transportation: The boss came to pick him up in person, the boss is very considerate and gentlemanly Hygiene: very clean, and the hygiene of dead corners is also in place Environment: You can see the beauty of Erhai Lake, which cannot be captured by cameras and mobile phones. It is recommended to come and experience it in person. I am very happy that I booked such a favorite hotel when I came to Dali for the first time. It was impressive to see him keep trying even though it must have been difficult to communicate because he was a foreigner. Everyone is very kind and pleasant. Also, the accommodation is quiet, comfortable, and clean. He plays card games and plays guitar for me who is bored. Also, I spared no effort to help my trip. The hotel premises are clearly 5* ! Location : a 5mn walk from the Old city, and from lots of restaurants at night. very easy to find. Staff : very nice staff! Despite not speaking English, they tried their best to please me. They helped me book a taxi, and talk to the driver. I was disappointed I was not in the building with the garden, and granted me access to the garden part. Hotel : Congratulations to the designer, who is a VERY talented person. The design, mixing old and new, is absolutely stunning. It respects tradidtions, but with a twist. the garden is exceptional. having the tea there was one of the highlights of my entire trip. Rooms : they are super luxurious, huge, with marble bathrooms and Japanese toilets. But a loise of traffic noise from mine. Only downside : this hotel is made of two buildings, which are on the other side of the street. The fish tank building has this amazing fisthtank, but it located in a VERY noisy street. My bedroom was overlooking the street, it was difficult in the morning. The garden building is super calm in an alley, all the rooms are overlooking this incredible old garden, no noise. I would recommend the owner to clearly indicate in which building the rooms are during the booking to avoid any potential disappointment upon arrival. rooms in the fishtank part are the cheapest. Overall I was happy with my stay, it's one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. But beware of the building you are booking to avoid surprises! I wish I had stayed longer.
