Les chambres sont spacieuses et calmes.
L'hôtel est facile d'accès, la terrasse pour profiter du beau temps est un vrai plus!

I highly recommend this hotel! 🏨 It was my first time in Metz, and I booked it simply because it seemed close to the train station and convenient for transportation. However, I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The room facilities were basic, unlike hotels in China which are often fully equipped (so it's best to bring your own toiletries and slippers), but the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was a typical French breakfast—simple, but filling! The best part was the 24-hour hot water dispenser in the restaurant, which is incredibly important for Chinese people! I definitely needed hot water to feel at ease. The only downside was that I stayed on the 5th floor (actually the 6th, but the French count the first floor as the second, it's not complicated, just take the elevator), so I had to go downstairs every time I needed water, but I was very satisfied. What impressed me most about this hotel was the front desk service. Two gentlemen were on duty during the day and night; they were very enthusiastic, eager to provide service, almost always responsive, and very patient. The middle-aged man who worked during the day had traveled to Shanghai and Hong Kong, as well as Vietnam and Cambodia, and had a certain understanding of Chinese culture and history, so I felt a strong connection with him. Metz was a city more beautiful than I expected; it felt like a small European town straight out of a movie. Near Notre Dame Cathedral, there was a bookstore with a gentle and refined young owner. When I asked him for book recommendations, I discovered he was indeed very well-read—just like the bookstore owners in movies. In short, Metz is beautiful, safe, and the people are quite friendly and kind. It's a small town I'd like to bring my family to visit again. If I come back, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again.

We arrived at the hotel just before 8.00 pm on 22/03/2024 - tired after after a long day of travelling. When I presented our ”Check-in vouchers” for the two rooms that we had reserved and pre-paid for online with Trip.com, the lady at the reception said that they were only room guarantees and did not represent that we had already paid for the rooms before arriving at the hotel. Therefore, I gave her our written receipts from Trip.com for our payments for the two rooms and asked her to call Trip.com to confirm that we had already paid for the two rooms. She then gave us incorrect entry codes for our two rooms, for which I had to return to the reception where she then gave me the correct entry codes. Later that evening when we passed the reception to to go out of the hotel to find somewhere to eat and I asked her if she had telephoned Trip.com yet, she acknowledged that the rooms had already been paid for online.
It is about 200 meters near the Lance Railway Station. It is super convenient. The only drawback is that the outside of the window is the track. However, it is still very quiet when there is no car at night. The room is small, but it is almost such a small room. The price is cheap.

AAnonymous Userthe cleanliness in the hostel was good, shower felt like a scam as the shower cut off itself after about a minute which is not quite convenient especially showering in cold weather. Otherwise location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to tram station

GGuest UserNot very clean, very small bathroom, literally behind the curtain corner is a shower, and right next to it is a toilet. The exhaust hood doesn't work, they forgot to give us towels, we had to run for them ourselves. Not very nice bed linen, and we covered ourselves with a sheet with a hole of about 1×2-3 cm. The fan works with a strange sound when turned, there is no refrigerator, the room is stuffy and the audibility is strong. It is quite suitable for an overnight stay, I would not stay for long
AAnonymous UserRoom was spacious, good and clean. The only thing was that the reception hours need to be communicated properly. We arrived at least half hour before the stated closing hours but already no one there. As we booked through trip.com, we didn’t receive the instructions to the safe where they dropped all the keys for « late » guests. But obviously we weren’t even late as mentioned, we arrived before the reception closing hours. Thankfully we met a gentleman who had the safe’s access code and we were able to retrieve our room keys
GGuest UserI needed a place to sleep overnight to break up my trip from the south of France ti Belgium, and this was perfect. Right off the highway, but with no traffic noise or pollution. The clientele, mostly truckers, were polite and quiet, there was no noise at night or in the hallways. The staff was pleasant and readily available, check-in and out was simple, the buffet dinner was a good quality all-you can-eat.
If you're looking for a clean, simple, friendly place to rest on your trip, I highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived around 7 pm. There was a very helpful lady on the reception who gave us all the information we needed for a very pleasant stay.
The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was also very clean with clean towels and everything was spotless.
I can definitely recommend staying here if you are travelling through Troyes.
