The morning meal was a bad thing, the staff and the greeting were able to respond comfortably!
The parking lot was saved for free, but it was a little annoying to have to leave the key at the front desk every time, such as when I forgot something! The public bath was vacant and there was a sauna and I was very satisfied!
Stayed for two nights, in order to see the fireworks conference and go to the southernmost end of the local area, the Japanese-style room is very clean, the location is next to the sand bath hot spring, a little far from the station, but you can let the station's case send the luggage to the hotel, you can go everywhere to play, there is a bus stop at the door of the hotel, It is very convenient to live. The price of one berth and two meals is really very conscience and cost-effective. The boss and the proprietress are also very very enthusiastic. They solved a lot of itinerary problems for me. I don’t know Japanese and don’t have to be afraid. The boss brought his own translator and the translation was very accurate. The hotel is also very close to the beach, and it is very convenient to watch the sunrise.
I stayed here for two nights because it was close to the station, the price was reasonable, and the reviews said it was clean. The building is old, but it was well-cleaned.
I stayed for two nights, but the sheets were changed (they were on the bed, so you lay them down yourself).
The shower, toilet, and washroom are shared by men and women. I went to a public bath and hot spring, so I didn't use the shower.
The entrance is unlocked, so you can enter and exit freely 24 hours a day. The entrance to the room is unlocked, too. However, since it was next to the shared floor, I didn't feel uneasy. They come to turn off the lights at 10pm (it's dimly lit after the lights are turned off).
There is a lockable box in the room for valuables (suitcases won't fit).
It was enough for me since I only needed to sleep. Thank you for your help. *Recommended for experienced travelers.
Cheap youth travel, convenient location, convenient cooking by yourself
Twin room space is well equipped
Separate bathing space and separate toilet
The public bath room on the third floor is large and comfortable, with bath products, but you have to bring your own bath towels / towels / toothbrush and toothpaste.
The public kitchen on the third floor is an open fire gas stove, the pot is not easy to use, it is best to bring your own pan and knives!
There is a parking lot nearby 17:00-9:00 charge 300 ~ really cheap
The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Tenmonkan. The ground floor features a lobby, and a restaurant further inside, which seemed very popular with locals in the evenings. If I revisit Kagoshima, I'd definitely like to try their food. My room was on the 5th floor and I appreciated how spacious it was. I found the flyers for local events posted in the elevator very useful; thanks to them, I even got to see a signed Shohei Ohtani ball! :)
As the name suggests, Showa-like inn. The best inn for me. But the toilet was a little troubled. I wipe it with my left hand when wiping my butt, but when I wipe it, the toilet seat tilts to the right side, if you fix it, 100 perfect score, because it's me (laughs) Also, Goemon bath I wonder if it was good, I've been in Fukushima since I entered, so I'm very satisfied. (laughter)
This is a self service hotel, with basic amenities. For our group it is good to have a common area which is heated up during the cold season. It is located by the river, so the nearby scenic view is fabulous on a sunny day. Overall, we are satisfied.

GGuest UserThis minshuku is located quite near Miyanoura port, the owners are super nice and they have a public bath that is perfect after a trekking day in Yakushima.

GGuest UserEasy to check in and nice staff. This place has hostel/airbnb/surf shack vibes. It was not super clean but it was not terrible. I booked for one person but trip.com/booking.com booked me for the maximum occupancy (4), so it was more expensive than it should have been. Also, I selected pay at site and used my credit card as a guarantee. This Hotel is cash only, which I paid; however, I haven’t been reimbursed my guarantee from the website. So, I’ve effectively paid eight times what should have as of now. These bookings sites are always trying to scam customers, so I’m sure I’ll have to submit a claim with my credit card. That’s no fault of the hotel though.
TThierry J74The guest house was very clean and the staff very kind and pleasant.
The incredible and very generous Japanese breakfast, enough to be able to hike for a day
So much good from this experience!
TThere’s A World To SeeThis place is incredible, ran by a small operation up in the mountains of Kagoshima. The onsen is something out of this world. Rich with iron and minerals from the mountain, it looks like something akin to a studio Ghibli movie from the outside.
The staff are kind and very helpful and breakfast is a real treat for those who like a traditional Japanese breakfast.
10/10 would highly recommend and stay again.
Also to note as a foreigner with tattoos the staff don’t seem to mind so much and my entrance to the baths was permissible. That may be helpful to know.

RRomanGreat place. There is a nice cafe on the second floor. The sand springs are nearby. The room is tiny but cozy. There is a bathtub. It’s a classical Japanese styled room. There is water in the fridge. Also, if you need to buy something, there is a drug store nearby.
If you decide whether to stay there or not hope it helps. The only disadvantage is that you need to walk around 20 min from the station.
