2-Star Hotels in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan

The room is big with all the amenities. Our room is facing the sea, we were able to see the sun rise, super gorgeous! The onsen is also great, free for us, and it is open to the public with surcharge. The hostel location is 10/10, close to the Aoshima island, and there is a big park nearby! We enjoyed our stay.

The location was good, close to Takachiho Gorge. The room was clean and comfortable, but there were many small insects. The food was just okay. I had requested special dietary accommodations in advance, but they weren't reflected at all. People with allergies should be cautious. When I contacted them about possibly being late for check-in due to a flight delay, the owner's response was a blunt 'that's not possible.' As someone in the service industry, I found that reply questionable. I believe there could have been a more polite way to say it. It was unpleasant. Many of the staff are foreign, and while I appreciate their effort, communication in Japanese was difficult. The amenities, like toothbrushes, were plentiful. There was also a drink bar with bottled tea and alcohol. They even provided chairs and cushions specifically for Kagura performances. The hairdryer and iron were from ReFa, but the hairdryer was small and noisy, hurting my ears. The iron was too small to be useful. However, some might find the amenities and facilities satisfactory. I didn't use the public bath, but apparently, it's not a hot spring and isn't very large. My friend who went with me said it was just right for about three people.

Small budget room with no big expectations but it served its purpose well. Paid parking is available on-site which was convenient for us. Overall a decent stay for a short trip or if you’re just looking for an affordable place to rest.

The room was very big, giving everyone plenty of space, and it felt more like an apartment than a standard hotel room. It was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Mango Hotel for families looking for a spacious and convenient place to stay. Used automated check in and out service hence can’t realky review the service.

Stay at OiseSun Cafe & Hotel was perfect beyond expectations. The cafe on the first floor of the hotel made the trip exciting with the stylish interior and fragrant coffee scent, and the rooms were clean and cozy with meticulous details. The most important thing is that the staff's friendly hospitality and attentive service are impressive. The breakfast in the cafe is clean and delicious, so I can wait every morning. The accessibility to major tourist spots was good, so it was convenient to move around, and it is a place where you can enjoy real leisure away from the complex daily life. If you are a traveler who pursues emotional atmosphere and comfort at the same time, I highly recommend this place. I would definitely like to stay again on my next trip.

Amazing view and quiet. Super clean and well managed. Feels like camping with a real bed. Or a retreat. Bathroom is shared but extremely clean. I thought it would be more noisy on weekends but surprisingly it wasn't. If you are walking it's an hour away from the JR station. Food options are rare closeby, but you can use a fridge and microwave.

The hotel is located on the side of the Miyazaki Inner Sea. It takes a few turns along the path. It is not easy to find the first time.
