The room size is comparable to typical business hotels in Japan, which was quite comfortable. There's a public bath on the first floor. Although breakfast isn't included, you can add 700 yen for a buffet breakfast, which was delicious and a much better option than eating out. The owner was also very welcoming. Even though the front desk was unstaffed between 10 AM and check-in time, there are four paid lockers outside the hotel for luggage storage. What's particularly convenient is its proximity to the station, just about a 4-minute walk, and it's also not far from the only supermarket near the station.
Located in the suburbs of Tokyo - Hemu Taiping, the location is quiet, suitable for self-driving passengers, the nearby attractions are a little distance, the first time to experience the container house. Breakfast is very ㄧ.
I would definitely recommend it to those who plan to travel to Oze and Nikko National Park.
In particular, if you travel here by rental car, you can eat cheap shunbakbi, spacious room, large, delicious breakfast family meal for free here.
First time staying in a dorm type but this place is good! The place is great for people who want to walk way up to their stay. It will take you at least 20 to 25 minutes.
People are nice :)
I arrived late and thanked you for accepting it well despite the check-in time. The accommodation was spacious and clean, and the bath was good because the operation time was long.
The room is large according to Japanese standards. The reservation is Trip.com with a private bathroom, actual stay, public bathroom, but after communication with Trip.com , the problem has been solved. Nozaki is small. The nearest convenience store is ten minutes walk
Except for the excellent location (nearest to Tobu-Nikko Station and the buses stops to various locations and places of interest, the hotel is badly in need of upgrades for it's rooms, facilities and amenities.
The room I stayed in is big (compared to most hotel rooms in Japan) but the toilet seat cover keeps falling down while using it.
Plenty of cobwebs at corners , especially along the corridor.
The bathroom taps is like a 'makeshift' upgrade shared by basin and bathtub. See photo.
Good thing is that I can see upgrading and renovation taking place but seems like it has been going on for a very long time already.
It's located quite deep in the mountains, so there are no convenience stores or anything like that nearby.
The facility itself seems to be a former inn that was bought out, so it offers a nice inn-like experience at a reasonable price.
There are also several types of baths to enjoy.

Very Good
Most of the reviews are outdated so I thought I'd give an updated review. For one thing, there is WiFi (I have informed the landlady that the website indicates otherwise). This place is a traditional-style inn. You'll be sleeping in a futon (some Google-fu should help you know how to use one), use two pairs of slippers (one for moving around the house, one exclusively for the toilet) and will also bathe in a Japanese-style shared bathroom. The front gate and bathroom close at 10pm, which is not an issue as everywhere in Nikko closes early and it's too dark to hike outdoors (in early Autumn). We loved using the onsen to relax after a day of strolling around and hiking, and the delicious Japanese-style breakfast was lovingly prepared by a friendly old granny. The premises are old but well-maintained. Toilets, bathroom and onsen were great but we were there during off-peak season so we didn't need to share so much. Should we return to Nikko, this place will be our first choice!
It was the perfect place for me to reset and refresh. The hostel is surrounded by beautiful nature and has a hot spring, just what I needed in a getaway from the big city. The common space is designed beautifully and has two very comfortable kitchens, big fridges, and everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, one night the hostel even arranged a hot pot dinner. First I stayed in a standard room but I ended up extending my stay here, this time in the women's only dormitory. Both the private room and the dormitory room were very comfortable and had everything I needed. Long walks was just what I needed but it looks like there's quite a lot to do around if you drive just a little bit, so I would recommend coming by car or renting one at the train station. I can't wait for my next visit here.
It's a real tight and compact capsule room for a solo traveller with affordable price. It's close to Tobu-Nikko Station with 6 minutes walking distance.
It's a very good place to stay. The room is clean and the owner is very nice and sweet. She is very helpful, explained everything that I need to know. She also prepared us a healthy breakfast for free. The place is near the train station within walking distance. If I go back to Nikko again I will definitely stay here.
The place is a 25-30 minute walk from the Tobu Nikko station, but you can actually take bus going there. However we didn't know the buses only run until 3 in the afternoon so we had no choice but to walk an uphill road. However it was a very fun experience and the hike was worth it as soon as we were able to take a rest in this humble pension house. The owner was very accommodating, gave us strawberry ice cream and even offered us a ride to the station the next morning. I would say that this place gave us the best definition of ”omotenashi”. Someday when we go back in Nikko , we'll surely stay here once again.
