"The room is located on an upper floor of a building in an area near Shimonoseki Station where many izakayas (Japanese pubs) are clustered.
I knew there was no front desk and it was self-service, but the lack of a door chain and peephole cover made me uneasy as a woman traveling alone.
Also, the toilet seat was cracked, which I thought was a bit dangerous.
Perhaps because there are restaurants on the floor below, there were insects. I think it would be good to have insect repellent.
Although I've written a lot, the interior was clean and well-equipped with amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave, and electric cooking appliances.
In Shimonoseki, many hotels skyrocket in price when there are events, so I was grateful to find a place to stay at a reasonable price. Personally, I think it would be even better if the price were a little higher, as it would provide more security features."

It's a capsule hotel, but this is the first time I've had such a good facility. The location was also good because it was about 15 minutes walk from Yamaguchi Station and close to the surrounding tourist spots.

Tim NeedhamThe place is in a small onsen village. The ryokan was run by a beautiful elderly lady who was very helpful. Didn’t speak English so practice your Japanes if you are a foreigner! It was a wonderful stay. The stairs are steep but there is an elevator. There is parking in the back. The place feels old but that was one of the enjoyable parts to be honest. We were likely the only guests that day so the place was very peaceful. Praying for blessings over the establishment. 😊 would like to visit the area again.

Guest UserThe building looked old, but the room and the large communal bath were clean and comfortable. The breakfast restaurant was clean and the number of items was reasonably good and delicious. The bath is a little small, but I used it for a time when it was not crowded, so it was good to be able to relax.
I bring a towel for the bath from the room, so I think it would have been better if I could get a new one when I entered twice.
It was convenient because it was located in the hot spring town and the location was good, there were many shops around and the parking lot was large.

It’s a older hotel. They have smoking rooms / non-smoking rooms. It’s really cheap, so can’t complain too much.. outside air conditioning unit was quite loud during the night. Don’t expect luxury when going to this hotel. It will do for the night.

MkoalkoVery warm and cozy place. It's great it's near the ube station. Love the villagers, they will help you around but at some point, I feel bad with my broken language. For my first time in Japan. This place is so great and they make good breakfast. I really love it.

It was fine, even has a small onsen and washing machines. The location very much feels like the middle of nowhere! A few local restaurants and convenience stores nearby but not much else.
The cleanliness of the toilets on the first floor could be improved.

The location is very, very good, in the city center, very close to the bus station, JR Ube Station, it is too convenient for business travelers. I live in a Japanese-style 12 tatami, the hotel room is very large, the health is very good, the service is very good, it is recommended.

Guest UserThere is only one coin-operated washing machine and dryer. The dryer is broken and I hope it can be repaired as soon as possible. It is very close to JR Nagato Station. There are supermarkets, pharmacies, 100-yen stores, family restaurants and bookstores nearby. The price/performance ratio is very good.

Guest UserI was looking forward to the hot springs, but I was a little disappointed because it was a time setting that was difficult to take a bath on my schedule. I wanted to enter twice a day. There was a slippery part and a okay part in the bathtub, so it was dangerous if you didn't care not to fall. The hot water was very pleasant.
The staff was very kind. The car was stopped by muryo, but I was grateful for always being careful so that it could be parked safely.
The room was non-smoking and I didn't mind the smell, but the elevator was spicy with the smell of cigarettes and perfume. I was hypersensitive, and I was stuck with a towel to block my nose and mouth.
