This place is a perfect place for those who want to stay close to the big beaches, but not on the big beach itself^^ The area is super quiet and the beach is a little bit deserted, but it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the central beach with all all the facilities. The owners met us with the drip coffee bags with a password, we didn’t really see them all this time, which is perfect for introverts too 🙌 We especially enjoyed our breakfasts outside at the terrace, and the food was exceptional, thank you so much for preparing those kimpabs and hot sandwiches 💛 They also had towels and you could use as many as you wanted (one towel per day I guess?) The only thing that was disappointing was the absence of the elevator (we had to carry our suitcases to the 4th floor), but it was the only inconvenience, so it did not really ruin the whole experience!! 🙌🥹👌 There weren’t that many people living on our floor, so it was not that noisy (maybe take some earplugs for the night tho?)
Location
The hotel is located near Gyeongpo and Gangmun Beach. Buses 202 and 202-1 run between Gangneung Station and Jungang Market (they run infrequently, so please check schedules in advance).
Seeteabus can also be used to reach Anmok Cafe Street and the BTS bus station. A stroll along the lake to the Arte Museum and Heo Gyun Memorial Park is also a great option.
Facilities
The room was clean and well-equipped, with fresh water and towels provided daily. The Wi-Fi password is located on the router.
Services
If you arrive early, you can leave your luggage at the front desk.
This hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay for travelers. The rooms are kept meticulously clean, ensuring a refreshing experience. Guests can expect a warm welcome from the friendly and helpful receptionist. Its prime location near the station makes exploring the area a breeze. This hotel is a great choice for anyone seeking a pleasant and well-situated accommodation.
I had a business trip to Sokcho, so I booked it because it was new and it was so good than I thought!! The marts and amenities around are all good, and check-in and check-out are easy if you are not facing up!! But the room was a bit narrow, so it was a bit difficult to use the chair, so it was too attached to the refrigerator !! But nevertheless, I rest very well !! Thank you!!
The glass table is low and the chairs are unique. There is an outside parking lot, so parking is easy. There is a convenience store and Norangtongdak on the first floor. You can call the first floor, get the room number by text, and just leave to check out. There is no toothpaste or rinse. The refrigerator is large and works well.
Pros
1. Location (in front of sea nose)
2. Bathtub water pressure is good and warm water is the best
3. Cleanliness
Cons:
1. Room is smaller than I thought
2. There is no breakfast at over 250,000 per night during peak season
I'm going to have a cafe on the ground floor, and I'm going to have a cup of coffee.
No discount coupons.
3. Amenity is the worst ... ㅎㅎ
4. There's no one that's empty and empty.
The price is low, but everything is offset because it is in front of the sea
I'm a doctor back.
I had a great stay at this place. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom was pretty good. Check-in was easy and quick. The location is not bad, it's a few minutes' walk to Gyeongpo beach and the bus stop. There was no kettle in the room which was a bit annoying to go down to the entrance to get hot water for tea and cup ramen. The place was clean and quiet. The room had a nice big mirror. It also had a communal bbq area outside. I would recommend this place.
This is a good place to stay if you come to visit the Raksansa Temple or to swim. The hotel is three years old, so facilities are fairly new. It has a cafe downstairs, waterfront seafood restaurants and convenience stores all within walking distance. It has a gym and washing machines and dryers (5000W per cycle for each) at level 2. staffs are friendly - they speak English, one of them Mr Chui speaks Chinese - If I come back to Yangyang, I would consider booking here again.
The room I booked for using the hotel was a 3-person room, but the accommodation upgraded the room so I could use it more comfortably as a 4-person room!!
The cleanliness of the dormitory is very clean and comfortable. There is an unmanned convenience store next to it. It can be used quickly instead of convenience stores when purchasing necessary items or food. Next time I think I will visit again when I come to Gangneung.

Amazing
JJackiewmThis is a super good experience, the homestay environment is very beautiful, there is a cute clean small pool. The owner of the hotel is super good. The owner knows that we have not prepared food for barbecue at night. He immediately picks us up to buy food at the nearby supermarket. At night, he also prepares a delicious raw fruit plate for us. It is very kind.
There are also three cute dogs from the boss, all of them are very close. The boss knew that we were not traveling by car, and sent us to the station in the morning. Thank you very much for the boss's help. I will definitely come again next time I have a chance and recommend it to friends.
GGuest UserThe room is spacious, has 2 bathrooms and toilets make usage convenient for a family. We stayed there because we went skiing in Elysian so it’s 15 min drive. I don’t think it’s very accessible by public transport.
Interior design is a bit strange, combining colorful and traditional wooden bulky furniture, the wall is painted black and there is only one small window in the big living room so the feeling is dark, and the led light hanging on the second floor fence don’t work. So I would say facility and hygiene is just ok , but the price kind of explain this, so it’s acceptable.

GGuest UserThe toilet, shower, and sink were separate, so the room wasn't cramped at all, even with my two middle and high school children. My top priority when traveling is always my accommodations. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The mats were placed on the floor, so any dust or hair that might otherwise be hidden under the bed was hidden, keeping it clean.
The rooftop was also nice, and the coffee machine and water purifier on the first floor were convenient. I think I'll curse Chuncheon just because of this place.
AAnonymous UserTo be honest.. all's good. Just 2 mini grumbles..
1. I suppose because they do generally allow their guests to smoke in the room, i can still smell the tabacco lingering. Not the best smell through the nights there.
2. No lifts. Thankfully my luggage is not heavy this round so its still manageable else i could foresee an issue lugging it up and down the stairs.
Now.. the pros..!
1. It is very clean. Bathroom attached which its great.
2. Room size is okie for 2. Has tv, wifi, lots of plugs.. facial care as well actually.. and a rather nice-smelling diffuser.
Spacious even, to put 1 luggage. Theres a heater and aircon unit ( of cuz not needed in this winter season)
3. Bathroom is spacious. There's towels provided. Shampoo, bodywash and toothpaste even! Abundant hot water.
4. A stone throw away from the bus terminal. Less than 5mins walk. Loads of eateries, cafes and even a diaso. Oh and the market.
5. Small town.. so everywhere's walkable. Quiet, slow-paced town. Awesome to chill here.

김김I made a night trip to Gangwon Province, so I made a reservation in a hurry and entered late in the evening and couldn't stop by in detail. The entrance was dark on the night road, so it was a bit hesitant. The counter staff kindly responded. The room was clean and warm and I went to sleep well. There is no convenience store in the hostel, so you have to buy it in advance at a convenience store 5-10 minutes drive away.
GGuest UserWe stayed 2 nights, and the owners were really kind and friendly and invited us to sing and play Korean songs along with them and other families in the stage they have in the basement. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my whole trip in South Korea.
The room and water were warm and well suited for the winter. They upgraded our room for free and there was so much space with sink, fridge, sofa and table included. The breakfast every morning is delicious and filling, preparing you well for a day of walking in the mountains. 설악산 was beautiful coated in the white snow. The location of the hotel is great too, as there is a frequent bus that takes you to the park in no time, as well as to the city when you first come or when you leave the last day.
I hope I can come back again to visit the park during different seasons, and I will definitely would like to stay in this hotel again.
Thank you for everything.
Gracias, 감사합니다 😄
GGuest UserThe location is excellent, incredibly close to Seoraksan National Park. While it's an older building, the interior is remarkably clean and appears to have been recently renovated. You can tell they pay close attention to detail, as the sheets, sink, and cooking utensils were all spotless and well-maintained. We also made use of the barbecue area, and the presence of a cute dog made the experience even more delightful. I'll definitely be back!
