Generally comfortable except the folding door a bit malfunction. Easy access for OKU. Price worthy for such strategic location. Requires only 3 mins walking distance to BMC Kuching. And there is a kopitiam and 7-11 beside the boutique hotel as well.
Hands down, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, everything just clicked. The atmosphere was calm and elegant, with just the right touch of luxury. The staff? Absolute legends — polite, attentive, and genuinely happy to help with anything.
The room was pure comfort — crisp sheets, perfect lighting, and that heavenly scent that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The view from my window looked like it was straight out of a postcard.
Breakfast was divine, the pool was sparkling, and even the smallest details — from the room decor to the background music in the lobby — made the whole stay unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a place that blends comfort, class, and heart… look no further. This hotel doesn’t just meet expectations — it destroys them (in the best way possible).
This hotel is super convenient – it's just a few minutes from the airport and directly connected to a mall, making shopping and dining a breeze. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with great air conditioning, and the 16th-floor view is absolutely stunning. Breakfast offers a wide variety, and the Sarawak Laksa was incredibly delicious. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, making it fantastic value for money. I highly recommend it! Plus, they even offer free power bank rentals, which shows great attention to detail and made for an excellent overall experience.
This place is within walking distance to the center of Kuching, surrounded by many famous restaurants and eateries. There's also a convenience store and supermarket nearby. The room had no window but was clean and comfortable. The bathroom facilities were fine, and having a shared washing machine was a great help. However, there's a music bar next door that operates late into the night, so the bass vibrations could be felt in the room until the early hours. I'd recommend bringing earplugs.
The location very centrally to miri city, the reception she very helpful like to day had small incident with the Grab driver(language barrier) immediately she was ready to sort it with the professionalism and help, thank you sorry i did not get her name but the one with masked.
The cleaning everyday in the room with new towel and the best smell towel ever cross around hotels.
The in-house hotel called The Yard very handy to the customer's especially now the rainy season in Malaysia.
Hotel was fine. Good stay in Kuching close to the waterfront. We had some stains on the sheets but we guess they were old. Changed our sheets after we gave notice. Overall a good stay
The location is strategic. Near Pasar Tamu Bintulu and The Spring shopping mall. The room is big. Although look very old room, but the room is neat and clean.

The free shuttle bus route #103 passes by, making it easy to get to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre and the airport. There are also many restaurants and hawker stalls nearby that are open from early morning until late at night, so you'll never have trouble finding food. The room has a partition between the toilet and shower, which prevents the floor from getting all wet. The towels are fluffy and the sheets are clean. They also provide bottled water daily. Just a heads-up, don't throw sweet food in the trash can as it might attract ants.
The room was clean. The shower is very strong, this part I like it very much. But there is no door in the shower area and the water splash floor near the basin area and the bathroom is wet and dangerous for senior citizens.
Front desk staff were very helpful to carry out luggage up to the 2nd floor due to lift malfunctions. Thank you so much

NnotJoeThe room is quite small, probably due to large bed. Not quite clean, I saw some cotton bud on the floor, the toilet not clean.
GGuest UserTV had no signal, the room was too small, and cleanliness was average. Suitable for solo travelers. Please note this hotel has no elevator. The distance to the airport is close.

GGuest UserDuring my recent stay at Maxi Hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the combination of luxury and comfort it provided. From the moment I checked in, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making the process smooth and stress-free. The room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail, like the complimentary toiletries and well-stocked minibar.
The hotel's facilities are top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, which offered stunning views of the city. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, catering to a variety of tastes with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The on-site restaurant also provided an excellent dining experience, with a menu that featured both local and international cuisine.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's location. Situated in the heart of the city, it provided easy access to major attractions, shopping districts, and dining options. Despite being in a bustling area, the room was quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep.
Overall, Maxi Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, it offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and luxury. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the city.
GGuest UserClean inn, quiet and strategic. Water pressure is good, this inn is equipped with lift service and you can view your car parked outside the inn on your TV via the cctv. Recommended !
MMalaysia SabahFirst of all, it's cheap for a family of 3 to stay there. Convenient location . But first impression we checked into the room is the smell from the toilet. It's very unpleasant.
Secondly, there's still hair on the floor. So cleanliness is just average.
Surprisingly, the bed and pillow is comfortable. We had good rest. The Aircond is cold too.
Hot shower is okay. Need to know how to adjust. It gets too hot, then user has to keep adjusting it in one session. Well it's personal preference I guess. It's too hot for me. Maybe not for others.
I'm sorry the photos are irrelevant. Captured during our drive from Sabah.
GGuest UserThis big a hotel, always fully booked, and yet they don't have extra pillows? I even offered to pay, but the receptionist at the front said, 'We're fully booked, so we don't have any extra.' And the pillows are as thin as the standard ones you've had at home for 10 years. I wanted to pay, but they just didn't have any. But then in the room, there's a price list for items like towels, pillows, etc. Seriously, no extra pillows? What if a kid throws up that night, or the pillow gets dirty? There'd be no replacement? I can't even fathom it. Everything else was fine.
AAnonymous UserThe staff appear to be quite rude. When i try to sit at the lobby while waiting for my laundry he told me that he need to mop the floor. When i go to the other side he told me off to go back to my room. The next day staff also quite rude, i wait almost half an hour to get my deposit back, ringing the bell but she doesn't come out & when she come out she doesn't even say sorry or smile
