The room with bathroom inside the room with balcony. No curtains on the beds, the light can bother, no privacy. There is elevator, no problems with luggage. There is a kitchen, but is closed in the night time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very old, but everything else is good. The location and everything else is super. The only downside is that the hot and cold water don't mix in the room, it's a nightmare 😭 you either scald your hands with hot water or freeze them with cold water 🫠

Bedsheets not clean properly. Toilet very dirty due to more people. But Tawosh was very friendly .

I chose a room with a bathroom, which is actually the master bedroom of the house. It's quite spacious and has everything. The location is also very good. There is a subway station downstairs, and there are many supermarkets, restaurants, etc. nearby. The kitchen at home is also very easy to use and has everything. The parking situation is not clear. It may not be easy to park on the main road. Comparing the beds in the youth hostels nearby, the price was about twice as high as that in the youth hostels, but they were much more comfortable and comfortable, so I decided to change and did not continue to stay in the youth hostels. Although the landlord is not good at speaking English, he is still very enthusiastic about using translation software to communicate and help. Thank you very much. All in all, it is a very cost-effective choice. If you feel uncomfortable staying in a youth hostel, this is a good choice and highly recommended. (Note that the owner has more than one house, so different house types may not be in the same location. The two houses are not too far apart on foot for four or five minutes. Since there was no phone call in advance and the language was not well understood, the location on the map It’s just one of them, but it’s not where I live, so it doesn’t matter if I wait for a while. Don't underestimate this hostel from outside. There's a lift so you don't have to lunge your suitcase up the stairs. Very clean, they even clean your room which surprised me. Kitchen has everything you need. Close to restaurants down the road. The only thing is that there's construction noise when I stayed there, that's the only fault there is.

This is not a quality hotel, but it is in a great location and if you understand something about the rooms you might find it ok. We booked a superior double room and firstly it is not a double bed. The hotel told me they do not have double beds in these rooms, they are all singles pushed together. Secondly there definition of ‘superior’ is that the rooms have been recently decorated and are superior to what they used to be. The reality is that they extremely small rooms, a hanging space either side of the bed with 3 hangers, no wardrobe and no drawer space whatsoever. I think for 1 night this is manageable. Beware some sites show this room with sofas and wardrobe’s- they do not exist as a double room. These are triple rooms and these rooms are more spacious and have a double bed, wardrobe and drawers. Not all have sofas! I found all this out on a recent stay. I booked a superior double and the hotel moved me to a larger triple room. So good customer service. But in peak season I might have been stuck!

We had a family suite, 4 beds and a private washroom. The soundproofing of the place is very poor. There's supposed to be quiet hours, but it was not enforced very well, if at all. At 12am, there was a group of very rowdy crowd running and making loud noises but no one came to enforce it. .If you are a deep sleeper, this will be okay, but if you are a light sleeper like myself then I don't recommend it. We were told different information by different staffs. At first they told us that each towel will be 3euro, but upon returning and just going to get 1 as we bought 2 elsewhere, we were told it's free because we got the family room. We were charged 32 euro for the tourist fee, even though trip.com states it was 24.

Nice staff helpful and good hygiene and good place near sea side 45 mins to the beach and cool place no disturbance from outside and traffic. Ice view of balcony to the sea and Cristo Rei Christ Statue, Lisbon

A short stay in a small but clean and comfy room. The room was on the top floor but fortunately the manager gave me a hand carrying my suitcase up to the top as there are no lifts. Kitchen is small but clean with most things you need for self catering. I slept great which was what I was looking for 2 previous poor nights sleep. There is a little table with chairs to sit around to eat and work on your laptop in the kitchen area if necessary. I would have stayed an extra night but would have had to move down a level and on that level the so called ”desk space” is really just a shelf with some seats so only really large enough to eat food from rather than work on a laptop. The area is a bit out from the centre but if you want to visit the castle and some of the city views from top of Alfama it's ideal and you can get the creaky but quaint 28E into the centre so you can cross that off your bucket list too

The hotel is located right by Avenida da Liberdade, but it still takes a good 20 minutes to walk to the beach. There are a lot of uphill and downhill slopes along the way, which made the walk quite tiring. The location isn't ideal, but given the cheap price, it's definitely good value for money. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was also very satisfactory, and the front desk staff were really friendly. Luggage storage is free during your stay, but there's a 5-euro fee per use if you need to store your bags after checking out. Also, the hotel's Wi-Fi password is easylisbon60A, and the signal was just okay.
