2-Star Hotels in Mukdahan Province, Thailand

I stayed here because it is only about a 10 minute walk from the bus station and I arrived on a late night bus. Walk in rate was same as booking in advance and check in was very painless - just supplied my passport and signed a single piece of paper. The room was small and bare and the fit and finish was a bit rough around the edges. I did stay again a few days later and the second room was in better condition. The mattress was very different to any other hotel I have stayed in, in Thailand. It was soft to the touch, and then had a firmer under mattress. This made for a very comfortable bed. The pillows were well stuffed and gave me a good nights sleep. The hotel offered no food at all (except for crisps and pot noodles at reception) but did offer free 'Nescafe' machine coffee from 6AM. It was enough to get me started but I am not keen on this sort of coffee - but that is just personal taste. There is a 7/11 within about a 10 minute walk from the hotel if you want more substantial snacks or drinks. One room I had offered an electric water heater shower - which was fine. The other room had hot water plumbing that was super hot at night, so beware, and freezing cold in the morning. There is no wardrobe, just a few hangers, so leave your gear in you bag... As with many Thai hotels - there is a staircase that runs to the top of the building - with no doors - so in the even of a fire - the smoke would soon reach every floor... Luckily there is a nice lift for those who can't make it up the stairs.

Very near to the bus station (entrance also available from the bus station as well from the main street). Few undercover parking space were provided. Overall satisfaction for the hotel for its price is very good. Highly recommend for this price range. No shampoo provided.

โรงแรมทำเลดี ติดกับ Big C (แต่เป็น Big C ที่ของขายน้อย มีร้านอาหารน้อย) ใกล้ๆกันประมาณ 500 เมตรมี 7-11 ในปั๊มปตท. ห้องพักสะอาดมาก แอร์เย็น ห้องน้ำมีฝักบัวใหญ่ น้ำไหลแรง และอุ่นดีมากครับ ไฟในห้องพักสว่างๆ ของใช้มีครบทั้งที่เป่าผม ตู้เย็น ส่วนน้ำร้อนนั้นมากดด้านล่างที่ Lobby ได้มีกาแฟชง โกโก้ชง กินได้ตลอดครับ ทีวี เป็น Smart TV ของ LG มี Magic Remote ด้วยครับ ใช้ง่ายมากๆ ที่จอดรถเยอะ ด้านหลังครับ อาหารเช้าเป็นข้าวเปียก ขนมปัง กาแฟสด ผลไม้ กินสบายๆเลย พนักงานที่ Front บริการดีมากๆ อัธยาศัยดีครับ

Ein gutes Hotel etwas außerhalb mit den üblichen Ausstattungsmerkmalen in Thailand. Frühstück war ausreichend um den Rest des Tages ohne Essen auskommen.

Naweang View, accommodation, good atmosphere, peaceful, private, next to the Mekong River, suitable for relaxing. Sit and watch the view, enjoy there is a restaurant, the wind blows cool. But the bed is a wooden bed, it may not be very stable.

We spent only one night at the hotel and got what we expected. Pretty large room, clean and quite comfortable with adequate bathroom. There is a kettle in the reception area for hot water - it comes handy for a morning coffee / tea. Overall, we were happy with our choice. Submukda Grand Hotel delivers good value for its relatively low price.

Very good value for money with a pretty good breakfast, asked for boiled eggs and got them. Staff on check in very helpful and check out okay. Hotel not in excellent location but good enough. Rooms quite basic but clean and some amenities. Would stay again if in area.
