Jilin Villas

We traveled to Songhuahu with another American expat family. Booked 4 rooms for two families with 7 kids and two adults. It was tight but that was expected. Xiaohui got us extra bed and blankets so everything worked out for sleeping. Only a 5 minute walk to the ski shop for rentals and then a 2 minute shuttle to the base of the slopes. This is an awesome skii experience for families. (But this region doesn’t have many English speakers so you’ll need to be able to speak Chinese or use translation software or have a translator) For this price you can’t beat this place. We came to play and ski, not hang out in the room. 😆. Breakfast was awesome if you like Chinese style buns, noodles, rice, eggs etc. Lunch and dinner options are plentiful and surprisingly affordable (US$5-10) and there are some descent beers to be found. The resort was designed by a Japanese firm so its well thought out. Bunny slopes are to the left and greens at the base. Blues are good and weave in and out of the greens if you want. There’s a separate section for blues and another for blacks with its own lift for the dads. (If you’re into double black’s you’ll Be disappointed but we were having fun with the blacks and wooded sections) there are sections for jumps too. Great variety for 3 day family skiing. The lifts even have windshields and there’s a gondola to the top. Restaurant at the top can get you a bowl of noodles for only US$5 or hit chocolate for 3. Medical care was efficient and cheap too, and the park fee comes with insurance. Don’t ask how we know. Haha. The best thing was the service from Xiaohui. We literally didn’t have to think about anything- tickets, lessons, gear. Price was market price for the season but so so easy. One of our best vacations ever. Good place for a variety of skier levels and not too crowded even at peak season.

The location is very good. It is directly in the town, and it is only two or three hundred meters from the service center of the ski field. The room is not as big as I imagined. It is called a villa, but it is actually an apartment. It says 38 square meters, but it is actually about 22 square meters. It is possible that the public area is also included. The sanitation of the room is in good condition. My aunt comes to clean every day and send two bottles of water. Call the boss and come to deliver free breakfast every morning, the service is very good. The disadvantage is: the bed is not very good, because the bottom is obviously brown, not Simmons, it is not thick enough, and the brown strip will strangle the body, I can only move my body when I sleep, try my best to get the protruding bones stuck in the brown strip In the depression, otherwise it will be a little uncomfortable.

The staff was very enthusiastic and patiently answered our questions about the hotel facilities and surrounding attractions. The TV and other equipment in the room were easy to operate, and the network connection was stable and fast. Come to Songhua Lake for skiing during New Year’s Day this year Overall, I am very satisfied with Four Seasons Villa. Let me write down what impressed me most: 1. The lady who helped us check in was very reliable. Our flight was delayed and she helped us put the parcels we had mailed into the room in advance. She also gave us a lot of route guidance to ensure that we could check in smoothly. 2. You can have a driver to pick you up at the ski resort, which is very convenient. 3. There are supermarkets and breakfast shops downstairs in the apartment, which is also very convenient. I also saw fireworks on New Year’s Eve, haha, I’m so happy🥳

I came all the way from Beijing, first to Changbai Mountain, and then to Songhua Lake Resort. The housekeeper explained everything very clearly. The room was very nice, just right for our family of five. The elder lives downstairs with a big bed, the first floor is the living room and dining room, and the family room upstairs has one big bed and one small bed, which is just right for the three of us, and the children are very happy to live here. During the day, I took the cable car, the rainbow slide, and the small slide. The villa is in a relatively high position, which is particularly beautiful for taking pictures. Food is available at Qingshan Canteen, which is relatively cheap. We also ate at the Prince Hotel, which was okay and not outrageously expensive. We love it here so much that we come back to ski in the winter.

The environment is elegant, the service is warm, the room is clean and new, and the stay experience is superb! The location is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and the stay is very comfortable. This stay experience is beyond imagination. Every detail makes people feel intimate.

I have always come here to ski in winter, but my first visit this summer gave me an unexpected surprise. The first day I stepped into the resort, I was deeply amazed. I never expected that Daqingshan would be so beautiful in summer. The lush forests and fresh air made me feel like I was in a fairyland on earth. The rich entertainment facilities at the foot of the mountain add countless fun to this trip. I must give a big thumbs up to the hotel I stayed at this time. We spent Christmas Eve 2021 in the romantic Young House🥳 This year, two mothers brought two six-year-old boys to Songhua Lake for skiing. Last year, we stayed at Seibu Prince Hotel. This year, we had to stay for seven nights. The price was prohibitive for me. Unexpectedly, Young House gave me another surprise, many surprises. The 8-day vacation made me feel like home every day.
