Fourth day of our honeymoon organized by Turisanda, we stop in Malang, where we find our hotel waiting for us. Tired from the journey, after hours on the train and bus, we hope to finally take a shower and lie down in bed, but unfortunately, the room assigned to us will reserve an unpleasant surprise for us. Bathroom with tub and curtain dirty with hair and stained and dirty sheets. I decide to go to reception and explain the problem, and without hesitation they decide to change my room with a similar one. After being accompanied to the new room by the reception staff, I noticed with displeasure in front of them that the new room presents the same problems. They then changed the sheets several times until they finally found clean, stain-free ones and the towels. As per Indonesian custom, the staff were very kind and friendly in listening to our requests, and apologized several times, and I was also offered the suite. The hotel appears new and the reception is very spacious and large, it has a swimming pool and friendly staff, but it has an obvious problem with the laundry, and certainly, the cleanliness standards do not reflect those of a 4 star in any other location in the world. I don't feel like recommending it for stays longer than 1/2 night in malang.
