We used it for our first Dazaifu sightseeing. On the day, there seemed to be a group student's stay, but the floor seemed different and I was able to spend quietly in the room. Hot springs can be enjoyed with open-air baths and inner baths, and the rest room has a number of seats. Thanks to the breakfast room, there was a table seat and a seat, so I was able to accompany my infant daughter who was not able to sit in a high chair. The location is on the mountain, but there is a shuttle bus from nishitetsu station, which is also convenient. I stayed in the room on the new building side, but if you ask for a view, it may be that the city side room is good. If the accommodation is the main, it is enough on the mountain side. And, it is not a disappointment point, but the timing was bad, and the preclave in the building was in trouble. After staying at the new building, there is only one elevator, so if the timing is wrong, you will wait a little. However, if you come to Dazaifu again, I would like to repeat it.

A lovely stay in a restored house within a thoughtful blend of old and new. Delicious meals in the hotel’s French-Japanese restaurant. Situated right by the side entrance to Daizaifu temple, this restored 120 year old house is full of character and history. We were received in a manner befitting a lord, and after the usual formalities, we were walked over the another building where our rooms were. This was located along a busy street, but once in the room we could not hear the traffic noise. We had a house to ourselves and it was simply beautiful. It was a blend of old and new. The back portion where the bedrooms and the tatami sitting area was obviously old. This was characterized by lower door frames and had classical proportions to it. The sitting room has tea making facilities. The fridge contents are chargeable. It even a chargeable snack box in case you were hungry! A closet here also was where you could hang your jackets and clothes. The bedroom has two large single beds that were stuck to the ground. One could not make them into a double bed. There’s a writing table here and two air cons to heat up the room quickly. The beds were firm and yet comfy. Overall the room was cozy and we slept well despite not having any curtains to block out the morning light. The bedroom was also next to an open air car park. But this was quiet at night, so no issues. The master piece goes to the bath room. It is large with double sinks and a whole stack of amenities. We were very impressed. Air-conditioning here keeps the room toasty while we got ready. It actually faces the passageway and into the small Japanese courtyard. There are windows from the bath room that look out. There is no shortage of light in the bathroom. The shower and bath tub is Japanese style. The cedar wood bath tub was lovely and gave the house a memorable wood smell. Shower amenities are provided. The toilet is beside the front door. This was particularly cold in the mornings. The food at the hotels restaurant was exemplary. We enjoyed our dinner here. The French-Japanese style food was delicious. Breakfast was also here and it was a wholesome Japanese breakfast. Overall a great stay here and would recommend it to everyone!
