Lovely hotel but barman tried to charge for 2 free glasses of wine and reception tried to charge for 4 breakfasts when we had only ordered 2. Other than that everything was good.

I went there because the place I was staying at wasn’t available. The staff was friendly and asked about my day everyday, which is a nice touch. The amenities are quite bare bone, and expect to bring in things other than shower gel and shampoo. There is a bus station right in front of the hotel, but the nearest two tube stations are both in Zone 5, so it might take close to an hour to get to central London on busier days.

Booked in for 2 nights for £255 as my Goddaughters birthday party. I drove from Northamptonshire Checked in on the Friday about 5pm. I am a blue badge holder and was not made aware there was steps into the property. Didn't spend long in the room as going out to eat. I returned to the hotel alone around 2245hrs and there was quite a few men hanging around the door, I did feel scared but what could I do but pull up my big girl pants put my head down and get in. Got into the room sorted myself and went to get into bed, also the bed was very low, this was when I noticed with my feet that the bottom of the sheet was scrunched up so I had to get up and remake the bed as the sheet was not tucked in. Eventually got into bed and that was when I realised the train lines were next to the hotel so every 2 or 3 minutes the train passes til 1am then you get a freight train around 4am... Great! Was up early on the Saturday and out for the party. I returned to the room to have 40 winks before going out for dinner and that didn't happen due to the trains and the general hotel noise. On the Saturday night two of my friends seen me back to the hotel due to the men hanging around outside they then got an user home. I was rudely awoken on Sunday morning by a staff outside my room talking loudly to another staff down the corridor that she needs to get her blood tests repeated, I got up stuck my head out to see what was going on slammed my door and they shut up. I was now up so started to get myself sorted to leave. I went to the other side of the bed this was when I noticed how dirty the room was it was disgusting, thick laters of dust on picture frames, the bed frame on the wall was rotten, light switches were dirty, skirting boards and wall had some kind of liquid spilt on it or possibly vomited on. Loads of spiders webs one with a spider entrapped, ventilation covers dirty, and the list gives on... thank heavens for camera phones.
