My family and I have been staying at the Fort Lauderdale Airport location in Florida for approximately 2 and 1/2 years. We were in between apartments, but unfortunately things came up that set us back. We are now able to leave, but before I leave, I would like for you to know what type of management you have taking care of this property. I have seen a lot of turnover in regards to management over the years of my stay. Romeo has been the only one who actually cares, is hands-on, enjoys his job and has great passion doing it. I can honestly say I've never seen Romeo not smiling. He ensures that he greets everyone who enters that door, be it a vendor , a potential guest and etc. I've never seen so many good changes made within the two and a half years that we have been on this property since Romeo has been in charge. It actually put our stay more at ease . Previously , we had dealt with quite a turnover of management and not in a professional way. I've worked in Customer Service for 30 years and I can tell when someone's out to collect a paycheck or actually has a passion for people and sympathy, empathy and apathy. That describes Romeo. It's very refreshing! I wish he had been management from the very beginning of our stay, but we were blessed to have him as long as we had him now that we are leaving. My profession in Customer Service has instilled in me that Corporate doesn't always need to know about the bad , but they especially need to know who their good employees are since they're not always able to make visits. In the future if we need to stay at another hotel, I will definitely find out if Romeo is still on board , and our decision is made where we will be staying. This very location!

I selected this hotel since they offered an airport shuttle and they are located about 15-20 min from the cruise terminal Port Everglades. There is also a Publix close by and several restaurants too. The shuttle picked us quickly and had plenty of room for luggage as well. The hotel itself seem OK. Our room was clean and it included a small kitchenette, a desk, living room with a TV and a queen bed. The bathroom was small, just shower no tub and the sink was outside of the toilet. The bad thing was at night, it was noisy with guests at the pool playing music, also traffic coming from the highways and some noise from the planes. I suggest to bring earplugs. The pool from our room look clean, just crowded. The next morning for breakfast, the hotel was a mess. Someone spill coffee on the elevator and no one had mop it. The breakfast buffet was all messy, there was trash on the counters, dirty plates everywhere, the trash overflowing. There was hotel staff picking up some stuff but due to the numbers of guests, it was impossible. The food even look non appealing, as guests had spills salsa on the fruit, throw fruit and egg on the floor. I ate a waffle since you could make it yourself. We had to wait in the hotel for a bit to get our Uber to the cruise terminal and it was past noon. The hotel breakfast area was still messy and dirty. Even on the pool area, people brought plates outside too. You could see finally more staff cleaning and mopping but it was a lot! If I stay here due to the shuttle and location convenience, I would skip breakfast.

Near a lot of places you can shop. Was very great for my family and I for our short trip. Staff was helpful during our stay , breakfast very simple , muffins and coffee. Very fast and effective if you’re in the mood for grab and go. Will be back later on this year
