I absolutely loved my stay at Yunhai Yuxi Hotel Apartment! The room was spotless, so clean and beautifully maintained. It felt incredibly cozy, with a calm, home-like atmosphere that made it hard to leave. The view from the apartment was stunning day or night, it’s something you’ll always remember. What really made the experience special was the owner and the staff at the reception, so gentle, kind, and genuinely hospitable. From the warm welcome to the small thoughtful gestures throughout our stay, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like being cared for by friends. And honestly, for the quality, comfort, and experience, the price is far below the value you get here. It’s a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. Highly recommended I’ll definitely stay again! 🌸

The room view is absolutely amazing, offering a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island! It's also incredibly quiet at night, which is great for sleeping. The on-duty front desk staff are super helpful; they have both day and night shifts, and their responses are always prompt! The two beds can accommodate four people, but it would be even better if there were two more seats for the sofa bench.

Originally, I was greedy for being close to the dental hospital, but I was uncomfortable throughout the stay and would not come again next time. It is an apartment in the rental community. There is a small balcony with one bedroom, one living room, one kitchen and one bathroom. The facilities are complete but we can't use it for a day. There is a side door in the community that is broken, and outsiders can enter and exit at will. Opposite the community is the construction site, and the construction started early in the morning. The next morning, I found that the corridor was full of materials, and I knew that the apartment was still being renovated and it was not completely complete. Check-in needs to be registered at the front desk at the gate of the community, not the same building, if it rains, it is inconvenient. Travelers are required to register and brush their faces according to the homestay system, so it is not a hotel. The basement smells very heavy, my lover can't stand to vomit, and lick the nose throughout. The first time the front desk kindly gave us a room that no one had stayed in, but found that there was no waste cleaning at all. The rooms were gray, the sinks were dirty, and there was oil on the table. Changed to the next room, the health is better, but the house may have just been renovated, there is still a smell, and the bathroom is water, it is a smell. The bathroom wall is not a brick, it is a plastic board, I don't know if the plastic board has a taste. Just added the customer service butler WeChat and sent the license plate, but the next day I went out and found that I didn't record the system. WeChat didn't return, the phone was busy, the car behind was blocked by me, and finally I could return the license plate directly to the garage and wait for the license plate to be recorded. Going back to the room to check out, found that the password lock can not enter, a while invalid can not record or password error, the front desk still insisted on me to enter the old password, but it was useless at all, no one came to help, tossed for ten minutes, and finally sent a new password to successfully return the room.

While the location and the view from the room are excellent, there are several points that foreign travelers should be aware of. Check-in: The front desk counter does not provide room numbers or guidance. You must contact the owner directly via the Trip.com app's call function. Note that the owner does not speak English. Room Guidance: I was guided to the room by two young men in casual clothes rather than hotel staff. They took photos of my passport and face for registration, but they seemed unfamiliar with the system and struggled for a while. Facilities: Hot water stopped in the middle of my shower; this might be due to the water heater settings or capacity. Also, the TV is only connected to a Xiaomi internet device, which requires a private account or additional payment to watch anything. Wi-Fi: I scanned the QR code in the room, but the AP for my room (1906) didn't exist. I eventually managed to connect to the signal for the neighboring room (1907). Amenities: Only disposable paper towels are provided. I recommend bringing your own towels if you prefer real ones. Privacy: On the day of checkout, cleaning staff entered my room while I was out for a walk—well before the actual checkout time. I found their cleaning cart left inside my room when I returned. Summary: It feels like a residential apartment converted into a rental service. It can be quite inconvenient for foreigners due to the unconventional service style. Stay here for the view and location, but be prepared for some DIY-style hurdles.

Facilities: The apartment is well-equipped, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. Cleanliness: The room was clean and hygienic, with no strange odors. Environment: The apartment is very close to the airport, just a few minutes' drive away. Taxis are also very convenient, and there's a shopping mall nearby, so food and drinks are easily accessible. Service: The service was excellent, and the airport pick-up service was great; just contact the owner in advance. They also responded promptly to any issues. The room was very spacious and offered great value for money.

I stayed here last year and had a great experience, so when I came to Xiamen again this year, I chose this hotel again. The service is excellent, and the sea view is beautiful. What's more, it's close to many attractions, making it very convenient for getting around. It's a fantastic hotel, highly recommended!

The room was clean and the provided body wash and shampoo which was made from olive oil which I think it is a good product,and the provided free drinking water and paper cups.

This apartment stay was excellent, and the staff were all incredibly attentive. 1️⃣ Seeing that we had elderly people with us, they thoughtfully asked if we preferred a bathtub or a walk-in shower. 2️⃣ Since my phone couldn't log into local platforms, the staff were also very enthusiastic in helping us with our bookings. 3️⃣ What impressed me most was the attitude of the hotel staff; everyone had a wonderful smile. The room was generally nice, with all necessary amenities, including disposable face towels, bath towels, and slippers. It was a duplex with decent soundproofing, and the bed was a comfortable firmness, making for a decent night's sleep. However, it wasn't as good as my first stay here.

The apartment is on top of the Twin Towers. The environment is very good. The staff has a good service attitude. The room is clean, tidy and bright. It is very close to the attractions. Shapowei is downstairs and Xiamen University is next to it. You can also see Xiamen University from the room. It is very convenient nearby. Supermarkets, restaurants and fruit shops are all very close. The front desk sister is very good to communicate with! Very enthusiastic. I feel that Xiamen is a very, very hospitable city! I will come again next time
