Adonis Lyon Dock Ouest

9th arr.Vaise
Traveling as a family of 3, we booked the Executive Suite with the terrace, a double bed and a convertible sofa bed. Our arrival around 1:00 a.m. went well, a call to the hotel the day before allowed us to learn the protocol to follow for late arrivals 👌🏼 The terrace was perfect for morning coffee, minus the coffee but I'll come back to that later. Breakfast (literally) available downstairs next to reception, in fact the ladies at reception were very friendly. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end; neither sheets nor covers could be found for the sofa bed, the mattress of the latter being very yellow I preferred to transform it back into a sofa and sleep that way although it has a large recess in the middle. No coffee machine in the Executive Suite, at least yes: there is a Nespresso in the central cupboard of the kitchenette but no capsule. Impossible to order anything via the application that they offer to scan either, nothing was available for the big day so you have to plan coffee for the next day? The shower handle is on a half-broken bracket but it works 🤷🏽♂️ Oh and I almost locked myself in the airlock trying to open the door for my father, since you need the card to have electricity, be careful with the magnetic card.
Odalys City Lyon Bioparc

8th arr. Hopitaux Est
My experience in the Odalys Bioparc was terrible. As soon as we arrived to the hotel we were welcomed by a quite rude receptionist. The sign with her name had the UK flag which one would believe that means that she speaks English. However, don’t fool yourself, the only thing she knows how to say in English is the memorize speech she was given for those who don’t speak French. After being obliged to pay for the city tax, which was supposed to be included, and for which we are still waiting for the invoice, we went to the room. The room was dirty, being full of spots on the carpet and with spider webs in the kitchen. One of the lamp was faulty and was always flashing and the other had fungi and some other insects, which means that it wasn’t cleaned for a long time. Finally, one of the bed sheets was also full of spots and hair. For a client the room was not presentable and when confronted with that the not so nice receptionist said “I can’t do anything” acting very confused as if she didn’t understand what we were speaking in English. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a somewhat reasonable accommodation in Lyon since it’s not prepared to host any guests and it is also located well away from the city center.
Nemea Appart Hotel So Cloud Lyon Gare Part-Dieu
3.5/553 Reviews
3rd arr.La Part-Dieu
The hotel is very close to the Padiu train station and bus station, just 200 meters away from the north gate. The train station has recently been renovated and requires a detour. There are many restaurants, supermarkets, and large shopping malls next to the hotel, making eating and transportation very convenient. Breakfast doesn't have much variety, but it's clean. The structure of the room is a bit messy, not very big, and the balcony is not well protected. It is probably because the apartment was converted into a hotel. The service staff were very warm and friendly. The room didn't seem to be cleaned every day. I stayed alone for two days in a row so I didn't mind.

Residhome Lyon Gerland

It is true that the neighborhoods are close to the convenience with a cooker just in front of the small dej, because €13 this is better to go elsewhere especially if it is in a suitable way to the quality of the apartment. For 4 with a clac click that grins all night, a mouthed lavabo ever, and the cleanliness I think if you go into details is to desire, you'll say that it's just to sleep!!!!!

Hotel service facilities are very comprehensive; because the evening is early, so the overall feeling is not obvious, but the price is good, the hotel has paid parking, the door can be parked at night, but before 9 am to leave

The location is great close to Switzerland, i.e. at the border there was a bus that left you in the centre in 25 minutes and in car about 15 minutes . Otherwise very happy with everything. We will certainly repeat 😊. In addition it is pet friendly, very recommended.
Zenitude Swiss Apparthotels

The perfect, comfortable, affordable stay at the end of a ski holiday the night before we fly. A full day of skiing, a relaxed transfer to Geneva and the Odalys, and a free shuttle to the airport the next morning. What a win!
Appart'City Classic Lyon Part-Dieu
3.2/568 Reviews
3rd arr.La Part-Dieu
The door is big, four-star hotel. It’s a good deal to book a Chinese guest on Ctrip. 15 minutes walk from part dieu three stops, the light rail is not particularly far away and is also three stops There is a pizza on the weekend, and breakfast is as expensive as ever. Slightly insufficient is that wifi does not work, there is a problem with the connection.

I have never given a bad review before but there's always a first. I am booked into this hotel by my company but am finding it very disagreeable. On arrival a woman thrust paperwork in my face and insisted I had cancelled my booking. I said I had just arrived in the country and had done no such thing. She was incredibly aggressive. In the end I paid myself to access the room and it later turned out it had been a software glitch but I got no apology. When I complained about how aggressive she had been I was told she had said I was aggressive! The room it appears will not get cleaned while I am here for four nights. The room only has a window in the ceiling. When I asked for an iron I was handed the iron and the ironing board to take up to my fourth floor room myself. Yesterday I witnessed someone asking why their apartment had not had its weekly clean, and a receptionist first tried to insist that it must have happened already or they must have put the 'do not disturb' sign on their door. The man was quietly insistent that this hadn't been the case, and then he had to practically beg for more shower gel. I will be moving hotel as soon as this booking is finished. On the plus side this hotel is well situated and close to everything you need. However it may as well be a massive AirBNB.
