Apartments in Lombardy, Italy

I travelled to Como with my sister, so we were looking for the appartment to live for several days. Please note when booking the apartment is located on a hill. Visually (on the map), it is very close to the station, but it takes about 10–15 minutes to walk there (if you are tired from traveling, it might be better to take a taxi). The host sent an excellent video guide, so there were no issues at all. We stayed in touch via WhatsApp the whole time, and any questions were resolved instantly. I must say the apartment is wonderfully equipped - it has absolutely everything you need (including small essentials like salt and oil in case you want to have breakfast or dinner there as well as all the issues to make a cleaning after the cooking or do the eco-garbage-separation). The air conditioning worked great, and we couldn't hear the neighbors at all, nor any echo from the train tracks.Then again, you should keep in mind that this place is not in the city center, so comfortable shoes are very important. However, we really enjoyed the city and nature, so we would leave early in the morning and return only in the evening. We were really lucky to book this place in the beginning of Augist. One more thing I should mention the host sent us the list of cafes and restaurants they have already tried themselves. It was very helpful. CheckIn was at 15:00 and CheckOut was at 10:00, in case this is not very comfortable there is an option to leave the luggage in the train stration (5 euro per day per item). Also there are options to buy food in local shops like Carrefour (check the map) and have a breakfast at home. To sum up, I definitely suggest this place in case you want to have a good rest but at the same time save money for something else (we took an almost private 4-hours lake cruise and it was the best decision in the overcrowded city).

I was truly impressed by how clean the facilities were. The location is a bit out of the way, but it's the perfect environment, making everything else negligible. Plus, there's a subway station nearby, which makes getting around convenient. If you're looking for a clean place to stay in Milan, I highly recommend it.

The first day of my honeymoon in Italy! Milan ～ lived here, the overall feeling is still good 😄, all aspects are quite satisfactory, hee hee, opposite is Sforza Castle 🏰 very good! It is also very safe at night ～ On the first day, we arrived at 10 o'clock and there was no problem. We told us the password in the email in advance ～

To get an access key, We have to go to another building around 3 blocks away in order to get a key. The inconvenience is, appointment had made to me in front of one Villa’s door. We found other guests waiting there to but there is no more instructions for access. We have to call property and finally find out that their office just like at the next two - three rooms. I don’t understand why they didn’t make appointments at their office at first time. We we were feeling frustrated while we had been asked from the villa’s owner why we stood there in front of their property. The room is quiet good actually.

The room was lovely, massive and worth the price. Housekeepers kept it clean whilst I was out exploring, and gave me complimentary bottles of water every day on the desk for me with cups. There’s a lovely restaurant there and the surrounding area was beautiful and with the metro station 15 minutes down the road made it really easy to get into central Milan as well. It was a great experience, would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering it. Plus, got a nice little balcony outside the rooms.

Out of all the places I stayed during my 18-day trip to Italy, this hotel offered incredible value for money. The room was huge, about 100 square meters, and came with a fully equipped kitchen (utensils, knives, a freezer in the fridge, dish soap, a microwave, and a dishwasher – perfect for buying groceries from Milan Central Station B1 and cooking your own meals). There's an elevator, and they even provided eco-friendly linen slippers! The bed was very comfortable, and the hairdryer had great power. The front desk is only open until 8 PM, but the check-in lobby offers free water and coffee 24/7, and they put out complimentary snacks every morning. The room key also opens the main gate. It was incredibly comfortable and clean, absolutely flawless. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Milan!

Hygienic: The room is clean and tidy. The fly in the ointment, the washing machine is poor in hygiene, and the inner tube has not been cleaned. Environment: Quiet and comfortable, there are convenience stores and pizza shops downstairs. Metro Line 4 is right at the street, very convenient.

The apartment is very close to the Central Station. After finding the Terminal Bus exit for the Linate Aeroporto airport shuttle, it's just a three-minute walk. Within five minutes, you can reach Metro lines M1, M2, and M3, and there's also a tram stop nearby. The apartment is spacious; even with three adults and the sofa bed open, there's still plenty of room to move around after opening luggage. Both the bed and the sofa bed are very firm. Upon entering the apartment for the first time, there was indeed an odd smell, but it wasn't from the bathroom or uncleanliness. It seemed to be from old flooring and poor air circulation due to closed windows. The situation improved after a day. There are three additional points to note during check-in: 1. A deposit of €100 is required. 2. You need to sign a ”contract” that is only in Italian. 3. Not only do you have to sort your trash, but upon leaving the apartment, you must dispose of the sorted trash into the large recycling bins in the building's cellar.

The apartment is in a great location close to the metro, buses and the tram. It is a quiet area about 15 minutes from the city center. There were several problems though. We were traveling on dome hot days and we wanted to use the AC. We were informed that it was not the ”season” for AC therefore they would not turn it on. The info on this apartment clearly stated that there was AC. Apparently it's only available at certain times so make sure to check. We were told to open the windows but I stated that I had terrible allergies and there were alot of mosquitos. Of course what happened is that I got really bad allergies and was bitten by mosquitos all over. Also, when you book a place that has a kitchen it is a reasonable expectation that it will have some utensils or plates or a pot or pan. There is absolutely nothing. So if you are planning to cook you would have to bring your own utensils.
