Premesso che questo è un hotel residence veramente grande dove immagino la difficoltà di gestire così tanti ospiti, devo accettare con delusione che ci si sente spersonificati e svuotati nella folla e anche presi in giro soprattutto quando si arriva alla SPA (12 euro) e si apprende che l’utilizzo della vasca prevede altri soldi in gettoni..assurdo..che anche gli armadietti della piscina vogliono 1 euro, piscina sottoposta a prenotazione! Quindi insomma vuoi andare in piscina? CODE. Vuoi fare la lavatrice? CODE, una sola lavatrice per tutti! Insomma prezzi alti per quanto in alta stagione a fronte del servizio offerto. Le note positive però ci sono: ristorante con qualità colazione ottima e personale mediamente molto gentile.

Es ist nicht so ganz einfach, all die positiven Eindrücke und Erfahrungen bei unserem mehrtätigen Aufenthalt im ”Daum” zusammenzufassen. Cordula & Peter sind wunderbare und ganz herzliche Gastgeber, die den Gästen stets in freundlicher und gleichsam höflicher Nähe zur Seite stehen. Die Suiten sind phantastisch: Open-Plan-Architektur, wunderschön ausgestattete Küchenbereiche, offene Badgestaltung, hochwertige Materialien, traumhafter Schlafkomfort. Es fehlt einem an nichts! Der bewärmte Pool und der Panorama-Saunabereich sowiedie Ruhezone mit jeweils atemberaubenden Ausblicken in die wunderschöne Bergwelt laden zur Nutzung ein. Die Gemeinschaftsbereiche zum Frühstück und zum Chillen tagsüber sind traumhaft gestaltet, begleitet wird dieses von einer gut bestückten Honesty-Bar mit wirklich seriöser Preisgestaltung. Aber all dies tritt zurück hinter die Wärme und Herzlichkeit, die Gastgeberin Cordula ihren Gästen gegenüber vermittelt. Wir haben ”unser” My Daum ins Herz geschlossen und können jedem ambitionierten Gast einen Aufenthalt ebendort nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wir werden ganz sicher und sehr bald wieder an diesen besonderen Ort zurückkehren.

I arrived to this beautiful hotel earlier than expected. The friendly staff offered me coffee and pastries and gave me towels so I could swim while my room was being prepared. The chef made the most delicious, mouth watering cuisine and actually accommodated for my food requirements. I had the sauna and pool to myself as it was low season and the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The hotel staff and grounds were wonderful and by far it was the best hotel I’ve stayed in all Italy. A short drive to Alpe Di Siusi also and a great location.

The Contrin residence is located in Canazei, only 300 (more or less) meters from the centers. It has many parking places.The Contrin residence is located in Canazei, only 300 (more or less) meters from the centers. The residence is nice and new and very well managed. Very corteous and professionale staff. All apartaments are very nice and the prices for the apartaments are very reasonable. For the winter is very useful for the skiers because is only 100 meters (more or less) far from a cable car connected to the ”Sellaronda”, a big wonderful tour with the skies in kilometers of ski slopes across four wonderful valley always with snow in any slopes. A paradise for the skiers. For the summer I firmly suggest this residence because it has parking very, very close to the Pordoi pass and the Sella pass, passes with trail of all levels of difficulty. Canazei is beatiful with a nice long walk along the Avisio stream.
