I overslept and was late for check-out, but the staff were very kind and helpful, and I wasn't charged any late fees. The hotel's proximity to the station was also a big plus. I'd definitely like to stay here again the next time I visit Osaka!

The accommodation is quite close to the station, and it was great that I could walk to places like Dotonbori. The place was clean, and even though it's unmanned, their response was quick and good! If I go to Osaka again, I'd definitely stay here.

Compared to places back home, it's definitely on the smaller side, but for Japan, the size is actually quite acceptable. It wasn't as cramped or dated as I'd imagined. With the lights on, it felt quite cozy, and the window provided good natural light. My only minor gripes were the lack of complimentary water and that housekeeping only came every three days. On the plus side, there's a 7-Eleven nearby, which is super convenient, and it's also very close to Tenkachaya Station. The neighborhood is residential and felt very safe, completely unlike what some online comments suggest about the 'western district' being full of homeless people; even at 9 or 10 PM, there were no drunks or homeless individuals around. Luggage storage is under camera surveillance with no staff supervision, which initially made me a little worried, but my bags were perfectly safe after half a day. All in all, it's very affordable and offers excellent value for money. 🫶

The location is superb, just across the street from Shin-Imamiya JR and Dobutsuen-mae. The room is clean, with enough space to open our luggage. It was also very convenient for my elderly travel companions who sometimes needed a nap; I could drop them off and then head out again. This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time! 🥳

Excellent hotel with self check-in! 👍🏻 Everything was quick and convenient, and the room cleaning was top-notch, a solid 5 out of 5! The location is superb, right next to the metro. The room has all the amenities, and a TV with movies and anime, which is a huge bonus for me!

You can really feel the hotel's thoughtfulness here. It has a washing machine, kitchen, and balcony, and they even thoughtfully provided an umbrella and a weighing scale, which are very practical. It's close to the Midosuji Line, and even closer to Shin-Imamiya, making it super convenient for early morning flights – just a 3-minute walk.

The newly opened hotel was very clean and comfortable! The rooms were tidy and fully equipped, and there was even a washing machine in the room so I could do laundry anytime, which made me feel very secure. Although it's a self-service hotel, the check-in instructions I received via email beforehand indicated that there were staff at the counter, and the check-in process was very smooth. There was also a self-service coffee and tea bar in the lobby on the first floor, so I could drink as much as I wanted! I sent emails with any questions and received quick replies, which was reassuring. The location was also very convenient, right next to the Nipponbashi Shopping Street, making shopping very easy. There were convenience stores and restaurants nearby, perfect for sightseeing. Overall, it was great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Osaka!

The room size was decent, and the bedding comfort was average. The facilities were quite comprehensive, though the bathroom was a bit small (all by Japanese hotel standards). There's a shared balcony, and the public area on the first floor is spacious, offering amenities like a first-aid kit, chopsticks, drinking water, and a microwave. The location is excellent, just a 4-minute walk from the Miyakojima subway station, with many supermarkets, restaurants, and pharmacies nearby. The hotel operates on a completely self-check-in and check-out system (with a Chinese language option). Although you can store luggage in the public area on the first floor, I wouldn't recommend leaving valuables there.

Great
AAngeloooStayed here for four nights during peak cherry blossom season, and it offered great value for money. The room was spacious enough for two people, and the kitchen was fully equipped. It even had a washing machine and a balcony for drying clothes. The downsides were the mediocre bed quality and the noise from the railway, which was quite loud even with earplugs. Additionally, the soundproofing wasn't great; I could hear noise from both upstairs and next door.

HhuohuohuohuoA fantastic Japanese-style guesthouse. The neighborhood is very quiet, and it's less than a 10-minute walk from the subway station. The room was impeccably clean, and with only one unit per floor accessed directly by elevator, it offered excellent privacy. The facilities were well-equipped, making it a perfect spot to experience Japanese culture. The host was wonderfully warm and attentive, and all the visual and written instructions provided were incredibly comprehensive. Highly recommended!

HHannah R CHotel were offering late checkouts to guests who left 5* reviews, so I feel that the reviews have been artificially inflated by people rating 5* so that they can get late checkout.
Location was quite far from the JR Namba station and even further from the metro Namba station.
The bed was really hard and uncomfortable.
Bathroom was tiny, kitchenette had a raised lip which was easy to trip over or stub your toes on. However, the size of the room was good, there was a good amount of space.
It would be ok to spend a night or two here but I think we were there 5 nights which wasn’t great with the uncomfortable bed.
When we checked in we were told a room number of an uncleaned room and had to ring out of hours to swap rooms, but that was all resolved quickly by the hotel.
Also to note, the keyboxes didn’t feel very safe/ secure because the codes followed a pattern (so if you knew one you’d know the other rooms), but we didn’t use the lockbox except for when we checked in so it didn’t affect us, but just something to consider.
Overall it was ok for a budget hotel but I think the reviews make it seem too good to be true!
GGuest UserThe place was ok but had 2 big problems.
1) ‘check in’ is *******!! It asks you to check in before online .. I did this. It also asks for a passport picture which I don’t need because I’m resident.. It should ask that before it asks me for a passport photo..
i
But when you get to the hotel it asks you to do the same exact check- in process again!!! Why? very very stupid!!
It then asks for information about guest 2… I was a solo traveler… there is no second traveler!! But you can’t skip it or change it!! I had to enter my information twice… very very very stupid and inept..
2) the room smelled like mildew… very strong stench..

GGuest UserVery impressed: A Wonderful Stay – Exceeded Expectations!
We were very impressed with our stay at this hotel in Japan. Although it’s an unmanned, room-only hotel with self check-in starting at 4 PM, our experience went far beyond our expectations.
We arrived early with a large amount of luggage—five large suitcases and four smaller bags—and hoped to just drop them off before check-in. Fortunately, we met a hotel worker, who we believe was a housekeeper. She was incredibly kind and helpful. She immediately contacted a hotel staff member and kindly offered to take care of all our luggage, bringing it up to our room after it had been cleaned.
She also explained the self check-in procedures and how to access the building, which was very helpful since there are no staff members normally present. We didn’t expect that level of support at all—it was clearly not part of her job, but she helped us willingly and with such a great attitude. We’re very grateful for her kindness.
The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The location was fantastic—close to various train lines (railway, subway, and local), duty-free shops, convenience stores, and many other attractions.
Highly recommended! We’d definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserI had a really great stay here and would definitely come back. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing visit. The location was also very convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area.
GGuest UserNice place to stay for family and walking distance to Subway and only 1 stop away from Namba station. The room come with washing machine, cooking electric stove, microwave and toilet come with dryer for drying clothes. Will stay here again if visiting Osaka. Plus points nearby have supermarket within walking distance 10mins from hotel.
