UH FLAT The Sokcho
4.6/5104 Reviews
It was a trip to climb Seoraksan Mountain, but I wanted to see the Sokcho sea, so I searched hard and found UH The Flat Sokcho! I booked a C-type ocean view room, and the ocean view from the living room veranda (2,3) and the ocean view from the bedroom (4) were so satisfying! The first photo is my personal favorite, Ulsanbawi View, which you can see while waiting for the elevator. The cleanliness and management of the room are very well done, and the front desk staff are also friendly. It is the best location for traveling, 20 minutes to Seoraksan Mountain/10 minutes on foot to Sokcho Central Market;) There is a parking lot on the 3rd or 4th basement floor?, but it is full when you check in after dinner, so parking is almost difficult. You can use the outdoor parking lot of City Hall, which is 5-10 minutes on foot, so there was no inconvenience. I was worried because there was a review about road noise, but I was outside during the day, and it didn't feel like much noise when I was sleeping. However, I felt that the soundproofing between rooms was not very good, as I could hear things like chairs being dragged and doors being opened. Other than that, I had a comfortable stay without any inconveniences, and it is a place I would like to visit again.

The location is easy to locate, front of the beach. There is a bus stop nearby, convenience store downstairs and close to many resturants. The room is like a home, complete amenities. The only problem was the tv, their tv's sound is weak, my ipad's sound is louder

The location is disappointing, but it is a friendly, clean, and appropriate place😊 You can see the sea far away from the accommodation. I wasn't expecting breakfast after reading other reviews, but I was surprised at how good it was. Good convenience store on the first floor. There are no restaurants nearby, but I recommend the beef and chicken restaurant.

1. Location: 3, 40 minutes walk from the terminal. There is a convenience store on the first floor and a food store nearby. 2. Service: I stayed for 2 nights... I didn't clean it because I didn't talk about it. Go down to the first floor and get a towel and bottled water. 3. Cleanliness: The room is neat. It's a non-smoking room, but it smells like cigarettes. 4. Facilities: Because it is a residence hotel, there is a lot of storage space. The refrigerator is large. There is a washing machine and induction. The facilities were meaningless because it was a short-term stay, but I think it will be highly useful for long-term stays or family guests.

Thank you so much to the good boss and wife. While barbecuing (don't get a drop of water on your hands), your wife brought beer to Hawaiian Beer Keeper, so we ate well. I used it with a middle school boy and a family of three, and it was so convenient that I want to come back again next time. It's clean after remodeling, and the best thing is bedding! Really clean!!! When I went home, I was really grateful that the boss packed sesame leaves and various vegetables and sent them to me~^^ ah. really! It's good to come with a child because you can see the stars in a daze. I met the owner again who came out to swim in the river in front of the pension in the afternoon after leaving the room. Thank you very much for greeting me until the end.

The location is convenient and it is a good new accommodation. I was a little disappointed with the dust that settled on the top of the bed head. I wiped it off with a wet tissue, but if it weren't for that part, I think I would have given it a higher score for cleanliness.

It was my first time staying at an unmanned hotel, and it was more comfortable than I thought (I applied for a toothbrush tool through Kakao and received it right after payment. It was amazing), and above all, the location and accommodation were very clean. In particular, I stayed in a family two-room ocean view accommodation, and I liked that there was a dining table and sofa in the living room. I saw the sun rise in the morning from my accommodation. Next time I would like to stay longer.
Risen Oceanpark Hotel

This hotel is more like a homestay. Although there is a front desk, it feels like a hotel that was contracted out of an apartment. The room is not too big, but you can walk to the beach just opposite. There is a washing machine for washing clothes, and the refrigerator is also relatively large. The staff is also very friendly and the hotel is very clean.

When you first step into the tiny apartment, you might think, ”OMG, it's THIS small—can I actually live here...?” But then you notice the view directly overlooking the beautiful Sokcho Beach, just a 2-minute walk away. You remember passing several restaurants, coffee shops, and convenience stores on your way into the building—quite convenient. Once you manage to get your suitcases and belongings in place, you'll find the apartment has everything you need: a good bed, a reasonably large bathroom, a small kitchen, and reliable wifi. So, what's the issue? Well, if you don't speak Korean, you'll likely face some challenges. We had to work a bit to understand the wifi code, temperature controls, and stove. However, the administrator responds relatively quickly to texts, so everything gets resolved eventually. In the end, we were really happy staying here with a lovely beach view at a relatively favorable price.
