I was very apprehensive about staying here after reading some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. We had a lovely large corner room with views overlooking the city, it was clean and tidy and we couldn’t have asked for more for what we paid. Great location and lovely staff. Don’t read the reviews and make your own opinion

It was a 3-minute walk from Krakow Station and the location was easy to understand. I arrived in Krakow at midnight, but it was helpful to be able to check in. The room was very warm and I was able to spend with one thin clothes. The bed was fluffy. I was worried that the bathroom had a little leak from the floor. The toiletries had shampoo. There is also a hair dryer. There is no toothbrush or room clothes. Breakfast was served at the cafe next door and it was delicious. It was 29 zurochi for one meal. The staff were very kind and communicated with me in slow English and translation apps. I think it's enough if you don't ask for luxury.

We stayed in a twin room on the second floor. It is basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable. We were aware that check in was a few doors down the street and that there was no lift, so no surprise. The staff at the Yarden Hotel were lovely and extremely helpful, sorting out excursions for us. The Zulian is a 10 minute stroll to the main square, which is fabulous.

Booked a cheap wowcher deal and was allocated this hotel. It was perfect. Large twin room with a balcony. Excellent shower. Small tv. Kettle with coffee and tea. Yes the room did overlook the street below and yes there was some noise from the traffic and trams but it really didn’t disturb us at all. Other reviews say they found it difficult to find as the reception is across the street from the abella suites in the Yarden Hotel. But I read our check in instructions clearly and went directly to the Yarden Hotel. Check in was simple and we were shown to our room by a member of staff who shows you how to get in to the building and use the lift if required. Check out was also easy. Very friendly staff. There is a fabulous bakery / cafe next door if breakfast is not included in your stay. It was a 15 minute easy walk to the main square.

There is no hairdryer in the room. The water pressure is very good. It is easy to wash hands and take a shower. The front desk staff is very nice. The breakfast is rich. There is a bus stop outside the hotel. The bus runs every 15 minutes. You can also walk to the tram stop in ten minutes. It usually takes 30 minutes to get there. You can reach all the attractions you think of.

Nice and brand new student residence opened several months ago, just across Hyatt Place where you can have discounted buffet breakfast (50 Zl- 12 euros,instead 85Zl)，close to AD Krakow Mariott and small open food court consisted of 5 kiosk restaurants. Walking distance to the street car station is 7 minutes , and ride to downtown around 10 minutes. Staff is extremely helpful ...will provide you with cooking utensils cause student cafeteria is closed during summer vacation. It's very clean inside.

Free parking, high quality breakfasts, very nice ladies at the reception and ladies cleaning the room.

The hotel has a restaurant that is both inside and outside. It’s okay. In the evening, many people bought beer and sipped it in the hotel’s yard. It’s quite interesting to experience the feeling of the neighborhood. The location of the hotel is very good, transportation, shopping, dining are very convenient, very close to the old city.

11 stars out of 10 to the Amber residence team! Thank you first of all to Gabriella who literally saved the day for us after arriving at our first accommodation which was anything but suitable. We arrived feeling very let down however were soon welcomed with a big smile, really looked after and soon all previous negative aspects of arriving in Krakow, were soon diminishing. Our accommodation at the Amber was comfortable, incredibly clean (immaculate), cosy, boutique style and we loved it all. The team could not do enough for us and this really makes such a difference. There was luxurious extras too such as coffee pods with a nespresso machine in our room (we love coffee!!), a fridge, fully function kitchenette, sauna, gym, iron, safe, a microwave if we wanted…and hob!! - the list goes on. Monika also special shout out and her colleague on the days we were greeted by them who were so helpful in getting us to the train to get to the airport. Truly, we really felt looked after and we cannot thank you all enough. We hope to be back where we know we will be welcomed! Thanks again all, you are amazing!

Stayed here for a long weekend. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would require. The kitchenette was handy with its kettle and fridge as well as being well equipped with utensils and crockery. The bathroom was a good size with a large shower and the beds were comfortable. The location is excellent and very convenient for eating in the restaurants in the main square and visiting the attractions and sights of the city. The staff were friendly and keen to help whenever we had a question. There isn’t the possibility to store luggage but we were informed that there is a luggage storage facility across the square which was also rather convenient. The price for our stay was great and we definitely received more quality than what we paid, especially compared to standards in other parts of Europe. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Where do you start. We found this hotel through one of the major booking sites. Location, great, rating according to the booking site fabulous 8.7 out of 10. £110 per night. What couldn’t be right with this place. We stayed in room 405 1 ) Reception staff appalling. They couldn’t care less about your issues. 2) Aircon isn’t working. It was over 30 degrees outside. In July. We asked and all we got was “it’s not working.” No apology. 3) Lift was unreliable. Would the doors close or just keep reopening? It was a lottery 4) Checkout time at 6:15 am as we had a 7am train. Lift was out of action. Turns out they power it off at night. Reception couldn’t care less. 5 Rooms need a total refurb. Carpet bleached from sunlight and had a burn in it. Exposed wire in the bathroom, fridge unplugged when we arrived, which isn’t ideal when you have some food and drinks to keep cool. Kettle leaking on to the base. Tbf the handy man got us a new kettle. 6) breakfast was limited to say the least. Luckily we aren’t fussy eaters but there was no variation across the 4 days. The building outside looks beautiful. You go to sit on the decking and it’s rotten. Bowed and sticking up. Plus side. Location View from the balcony. The staff were spoken to by us in both Polish and English, so it was a case of misunderstanding. This place needs a top to bottom overhaul including the staff. I wouldn’t be surprised if the aircon was off because of costs rather than being broken. This place looks like it’s run out of cash. I hope the owners of this hotel reply, as I can’t wait to hear their response. There’s loads of similar priced accommodation in the area. Go there instead!!! Be warned.

My 4-people family spent a week there. The apartment is located in the center of Zakopane. Our room was clean and comfortable. Very good place to stay for reasonable price. Free parking, supermarket ”Biedronka” and all attractions within a short distance. Friendly and professional staff. I can recommend this place without any doubt.

My husband and I spent 3 nights over New Years at Butorowy Dwor. We liked everything about the place: our room with amazing views, the great service and delicious food. Their breakfast buffet has a fantastic selection. One thing we did not realize: Butorowy Dwor is located on a busy (main) road. From the photos we thought it was a fairly secluded location. However, since the buildings are on a hill, we did not hear the traffic at all. Plus, even during a busy season there are no cars driving at night. Also, it is a quick walk to Gubalowka (10min uphill).

The ”Railway” apartment in which we slept is a modern, climate-friendly fully equipped apartment (tubes, cutlery, cosmetics, towels, etc.) at the railway station and bus station. Apartment large, clean, cared. Very nice owner, helpful in any situation and responding to the needs of the guests. We will definitely return again :) We recommend.
