Had a great stay at the Hilton. Upon check in the washing machine, safe, and bedroom TV were not working. However maintenance was able to resolve all of the issues and reception apologized and provided a nice bottle of wine as compensation. That is great service. Many amenities at this property made it a great time as well. Extremely clean. Lots of towels. Comfortable bed. No other complaints just a good stay!

Booked a one bedroom ocean spa apartment for 6 nights in Mid Oct 2024. Stayed on 38 floor. First impression when entering that apartment was ”great view”. Apartment is spacious and very clean, kitchen facility has stocked with many pot & pan and utensils, can make regular meals with no issue. Also has washer & dryer too. There is a jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom that is a bonus! We brought food from Coles supermarket (walking distance from Q1) and made breakfast and dinner. To get to Q1 resort from Gold Coast airtport, We brought a public transport card ”GO” from shop in airport arrival hall, took the airport bus #777 from airport (30 minutes ride) to Broadbeach, transfer to the local tram, get off at Surfers Paradise stop. Q1 resort is right across the street. The whole ride is last than 45 minutes, cost only 50 cents AUD., great deal!! BTW, all bus & tram ride within Gold Coast area is 50 cents. So get a GO card. Just make sure you tap on and off with each ride.

The location is awesome, you will not regret that. Even if we did not spend that much time in the room view of the city and the beach was stunning. Friendly staff. The only problem was about the pool, my husband saw a dead cockroach in the pool floating and another one just in front of the hot tub.

Staff were very friendly, location was the best to walk around the city. Actual room facilities are relatively a bit outdated (no usb receptive chargers) but nothing to complain about. Thanks again to the extremely friendly Korean staff member at the front desk.

The room was clean and quiet. It also had a nice view where you could see the sea and the rainforest.Service was good , and it was easy to call a taxi ,you just need to press a taxi bottom in the lobby and taxi would come to the hotel within 5 to 15 minutes .This was really cool!

Had an upgrade from an Executive Suite to Family Suite giving more room space with views of the beach and daily room services kept our Suite fresh and clean. The Breakfast menu was always our go to and got us ready for our busy day. Thank you Novotel Surfers Paradise for always making our stay feeling like home.

Firstly, the room was excellent, ultra clean with bath and shower. The sheets were exemplary, bed very comfortable as were the pillows. Bar fridge and microwave, toiletries in the bathroom. Towels excellent. Airconditioning excellent. I was excited to see a very large, modern wide screen TV with onboard Android system. Disappointed that no internet connection (so I could have used my own passwords for my streaming services. Even more disappointed that there was no aerial connected, but I had brought my own tech and internet. I just switched off the TV. Imagine my extreme displeasure to board the 3rd floor lift at 05:00 to have the doors closed - but no button worked! I WAS TRAPPED IN THE LIFT!!! I pressed the yellow emergency button for 5 seconds - no answer - pressed multiple times. I phoned the hotel main number, so they could press the lift call button - no answer. I phoned the 24/7 emergency 1300 number. The operator said she would send someone out - who would phone me with an ETA. Getting anxious, being 60 years old with a heart condition, I dialled 000 to call the POLICE! The dispatcher commended me on remaining so calm. I assured her, being very hot in cramped spaces with very little air was definitely not conducive to my remaining calm. They said to call 000 back if I got out before the fire brigade arrived. Five minutes later I heard voices outside. Someone heard my banging on the lift doors and cries for help. I GOT OUT That night the guy on reception said sorry. I explained that, although the room was marvelous - and that I did eventually get out, a man of my age and I'll health could have died - why wasn't anyone on duty to answer the damn lift emergency phone? He said he was sorry.

It is a conveniently located and comfortable accommodation. The quality of the breakfast buffet was excellent, and it was very cozy and ideal for staying with family.

Travelled for business on this occasion. Myself and family have stayed at this property many times. The location is really convenient, its a proper functioning hotel. Check in was really easy and fast. Scored a good room upgrade as well. The rooms are spacious and clean, the service was good . So I would recommend this hotel.

I had a pleasant experience at Cairns Harbourside Hotel. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with timely housekeeping. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay enjoyable and comfortable. Would recommended for anyone visiting Cairns.

The hotel staff was super nice and friendly and helpful. We sleep here because participating in Goldcoast Marathon even if a bit far from the venue. But the staff was super helping when we have a hard time to find an uber to the starting line of the race like super early in the morning. Beside that, the cleanliness; the breakfast is all superb! Would love staying here if I’m back to Goldcoast

I had a pleasant stay in Gold Coast. The hotel is close to beach. I can see ocean from the balcony. Room is clean. The downsides are there is stingy smell of renovation in the room, but gladly I can open the balcony door to let the air in. Also, there is huge sound from two exhaust fans on the ground floor, which disturb me much, and is making sound all day. Plus the too upbeat music from swimming pool. Wish the music can be more chill and gentle. Besides from these, the staff are overall very friendly.

Facilties and amenities are amazing for kids. Check in and out can be done online to speed things up. Layout of tha facility provides easy access around the resort

The location is very good, just a few steps away from the beach. It is about 200 meters away from the night market. The room is clean and has a balcony. There is a big supermarket near the hotel, and the price-performance ratio is very high.

I stayed here twice - the first time, an ordinary room, the 2nd time, I thought maybe the Horizon Club might be a higher level. Before I say anything, I may choose to stay again for the location! This property is not 'Shangri-LA' as you would expect - the windows are all dirty which is disappointing for 'Marina View' rooms... The Horizon lounge furniture is closer to school lunch hall style, and the dinner - well, I don't eat in food halls with sausage rolls and spring rolls. We ate in the main street which was AWESOME!. The ping pong table is bent, bats are without surface, and the air hockey machine without pucks.. Basically a 'cashing in on the brand' experience...

Before check-in, I missed the front desk check-in because my flight was late. However, I met a Chinese staff member by phone one day in advance. She gave me the entrance code and the code for the safe where the room card is placed. She was very patient. I give a thumbs up to the front desk lady.

The facilities are old but the location is super good. It's not far from anywhere and you can walk. There is everything around. It's very convenient for eating, walking or going out to the sea. The hotel's swimming pool is crowded and meals are also provided

There is free coffee on the first floor of the hotel. It is very close to the fleet terminal to take a boat to the Great Barrier Reef. It is 6 kilometers away from the airport, which is not far. The room is quite big. There is a convenience store across the street downstairs. Turn right and there is a supermarket Woolworth at an intersection. Going forward is the night market. There are several good steak restaurants around, but remember to make a reservation. The environment is OK, but I think the Pullman International opposite is more beautiful. It gets dark early in winter. Try to return to the hotel before dark. Stay away from indigenous children.

The hotel is centrally located Rooms are nice and clean although We wanted single large bed but we offered two separate ones They are very particular about check out at 1000 Most of the hotels at least give one hour relaxation but they were adamant at 10 No room cleaning was done on the second day and the lockers did not work Breakfast is quite standard nothing exceptional Overall a comfortable stay but I really wish to check out at 1100

Right by the sea, you can see the sea from the balcony. It's a little far from downtown Cairns, not noisy, and very convenient. Clean and sanitary services are also very good. The hotel has its own swimming pool. Because I stayed in Cairns for a long time, I spent more time swimming in the hotel's swimming pool. I chose a place with a little sunshine to lie down and read a book. It was a very good experience.
