I originally booked this hotel in Yantai just for a layover before taking a ferry, and I never expected it to be so fantastic! The first reaction from my four friends when we entered the room was, ”Wow, this is so luxurious, like a presidential suite!” There was even a game console in the room, making it perfect for families with kids. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The front desk staff, both the young lady and the older woman, had excellent service attitudes. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Yantai.

Essentially an apartment, but with hotel-style management and excellent service. The cleanliness was a pleasant surprise; I hardly found any dirty spots, and the linens were spotless. The view is absolutely stunning, with three floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, bedroom, and bathroom all facing the ocean directly. The room's facilities are a bit dated, though, and there's no smart home control system. The decor feels like it's from a decade ago.

The hotel is in a great location right by the sea, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely designed. The price was also very reasonable for what you get.
The reception can be a bit hard to find at first, as it’s located on the second floor. You need to take the first elevator to level 2, where there are signs showing the way. Once there, check-in was smooth and quick, and the staff were easy to communicate with.
The room itself was large and comfortable. However, the hotel provided only a limited number of towels, which could be improved. On the positive side, the hair dryer was good and worked well.
Overall, a great value stay with a nice seaside location. Would recommend for travelers looking for a comfortable and affordable hotel. 🌊🏨✨

I bought a voucher for the Qingdao Haitian Hotel, and it offered great value for money. The front desk proactively upgraded me to a sea-view room on the 31st floor, which had a fantastic view. The bellboy was enthusiastic and helped with my luggage. The WeChat concierge provided information on dining and public areas and even gave me a small gift, demonstrating very attentive service, although perhaps a little *too* enthusiastic. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich, with specialties like freshly-made wontons. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for walks along the seaside. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The location is incredibly convenient, right next to all the attractions. The room was clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a great night's sleep. All the facilities were complete and worked perfectly. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The value for money is absolutely amazing – I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

I always worry about being cold when staying in a hotel in winter, so I specifically looked for one with floor heating, and it was really warm. The room was also quite spacious. Highly recommended! There were no strange smells in the room, and the decor was simple and stylish, exactly the kind of hotel vibe I prefer.

This is the only hotel in the city center with direct beach access, boasting an excellent location. There are plenty of food delivery options nearby. The hotel also has direct access to the beach, so you wake up to the sound of waves every day. The pool is very clean and even has a kids' pool. Our butler, Sheila, provided excellent service, always responsive to our requests. The cleaning staff also did a great job every day. Overall, a fantastic experience! We'll definitely stay at Hyatt Regency Qingdao again on our next visit.

This hotel is located in Yantai Development Zone, which is a bit out of the way. We arrived in Weifang from Beijing a day early and stayed overnight. On April 5th, around 11:50 AM, we arrived at Yantai Xinguang Marriott Hotel. A male staff member at the entrance enthusiastically and proactively helped us with directions and our luggage.
When I got to the front desk, I handed my ID to a female staff member. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just didn't like me, but she immediately started scolding me, saying, 'Don't you know check-in isn't until 3 PM? We don't have any rooms available for immediate check-in right now.' I was truly taken aback by her attitude. I said we could have lunch first and then check in when a room was ready. After a while, she pulled out a room key and said a room had just become available. I thanked her, but then she said we only had one breakfast included. I told her I booked the room and clearly reserved two breakfasts. After another moment, she then confirmed it was indeed two breakfasts. I then asked about the breakfast times and location, and the Chinese restaurant's times and location. She impatiently replied, 'That's enough, you can go.'
After I left, I remembered that I booked an executive room, and she hadn't mentioned anything about the executive lounge. So, I went back to the front desk and asked why she hadn't told me about the executive lounge benefits. She then asked, 'Did you book an executive lounge room?' I told her my booking confirmation should have the relevant details. After thinking for a moment, she said the 19th floor had executive lounge benefits and then took out a piece of paper from her desk with the executive lounge's hours and location.
I don't understand why a front desk staff member at a five-star hotel would have such a work attitude. How can she be so disrespectful and rude to guests? After receiving a customer's ID, they should be able to look up all the booking information. Why were there so many inconsistencies? Was it just because I arrived early? Should I be chastised like that just for arriving early? What was she thinking while working, being so distracted? We seniors don't come here to be treated so poorly; it's absolutely outrageous.
I later reported this situation to another front desk staff member and requested to speak with a front desk supervisor. Afterward, a lady told me that the staff member was new. I don't believe being new is a valid excuse for such behavior. The hotel's front desk is its face, and if someone's service is so poor, why are they working at the front desk?
The facilities and equipment in the hotel room are mostly complete, but they do feel a bit dated. The breakfast selection is varied, and the taste is decent.

The room was unexpectedly clean. I was a bit worried it might be cold when I booked, but it was surprisingly warm, with its own heating system. The sofa was very cozy, and the decor was quite artistic. The owner was incredibly kind; we had a minor issue, and they resolved it very promptly, which was a huge relief! The all-glass exterior offered fantastic views, and it was so pleasant. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and you could even capture beautiful night views right from the room. This hotel is definitely a great choice for travel.

The positive attitude and service performance of the staff ranging from front desk, concierge/security to breakfast restaurant and house keeping is excellent. The classic hotel personal service with a modern twist makes the stay a memorable experience. On my check-in, Ms Xiao Jiao and Ms Xiao Cong gave me and explained briefly the leaflet on the hotel’s suggested tourist attractions in Yantai. They also enthusiastically exchanged small RMB notes with me. They also gave me a piece of mooncake of my choice (and during my check-out too). The restaurant staff is attentive, replenishing food and drinks and attending to requests promptly. Due to my lack of command of Mandarin and accent, the chef cooked the wanton instead of the mackerel dumplings for me, he immediately served me the dumplings when he realised the miscommunication. The next morning, after serving me the mackerel dumplings, he, I think, recognised me, suggested I could add soup and condiments to the dumplings. I find their fleshly cooked dumplings are even better than the dumplings from the most famous dumplings restaurant in Yantai. The concierge staff on 2 days helped me book taxi using her phone app, paying in advance on my behalf as booking via internet cannot be settled in cash. The concierge/front desk lent me umbrella without question. After a delayed and tiring flight, Mr Xiao Gao brought me to my room and explained the mechanics of the switches in the room. There was a hand-written welcome note from Ms Liu, with 2 cups of white fungus/goji drink beside it. The drink together with the note and fruits in the room, not only soothed my dry throat but also lifted the mood. House keeping provided fruits, white fungus/goji drink and dried chrysanthemum/rose flowers (to prepare for drinking) and 4 bottles (500 ml) of water daily, with up to 14 bottles at the lift lobby on my floor, and guests can also request house keeping for more bottles. On my check out day, during my breakfast, they left at the door handle, a bag of goodies, fruits and bottles of water and souvenirs (4 key chains with various types of sea shells), together with a hand-written farewell/bon voyage note from Ms Liu. Well done The Center Hotel staff, you are a pride to the hotel, the hospitality industry and Yantai!

Perfect
I recently stayed at the Qingdao Haitian Hotel and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent — right along the coastline with beautiful sea views, and conveniently close to many of Qingdao’s main attractions. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of both Chinese and Western options, and the staff were generally attentive and helpful without being overbearing. The lobby and public areas are spacious and well-decorated, giving the hotel a calm, welcoming atmosphere. While the style leans more towards traditional luxury than ultra-modern, it has a certain charm and a sense of stability that makes for a comfortable stay. I would recommend it for travelers who value location, cleanliness, and a relaxing environment.

A great location for a holiday trip. There was plenty to do. The hotel amenities had something for everyone. I wished the outdoors pools and grounds were unkept a little more. On the way to the beach the boardwalk was destroyed. The building is a little old and could use some updating for the rooms but they staff works hard to keep things clean, orderly, and organized. Staff were very helpful from Check-in to checkout. Food options were plentiful. And the view was amazing.

Great hotel that was very conveniently located. We were able to get to a number of attractions using the station right next to the hotel or walking. The staff were super kind and accommodating! They took our bags all the way to our room and gave us a free upgrade to the room we booked. We had a view of the buildings that put on a light show at night. In addition they provide quite a few amenities including a room for laundry and cooking. Upon arrival they also delivered some fruits to our room, in addition to the other complimentary snacks already available.
