On a business trip to Macau, I spent a lot of time choosing a hotel and I'm so glad I finally settled on the Grand Lapa Hotel due to its convenient transportation. The hotel boasts an impressive architectural style and an excellent location with plenty of amenities nearby. The abundant breakfast was particularly satisfying. The staff were very helpful and always willing to assist. One day, my room card wouldn't open the door, and it turned out the room lock's battery had died. First, a bellboy accompanied me upstairs to check, and then after about a ten-minute wait, two technicians arrived to fix it, which they did in just a few minutes – very efficient. The bellboy was also very quick and efficient in helping me call a taxi and with my luggage. I brought my own bedding as I was worried about mosquito bites in Macau, but the hotel's bedding was actually very clean. It has the advantages of an older hotel (excellent location) while mostly avoiding the drawbacks (outdated facilities). Although the style is from the 80s or 90s, the carpets and bathroom facilities don't show their age. Great value for money!

The room was clean and well-maintained. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and most of them are open until the early hours of the morning, so you don't have to worry about finding food if you get hungry at night. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful; they even enthusiastically recommended nearby restaurants. Special thanks to a male receptionist in a suit who patiently showed us how to get to Venice for a concert. We really appreciate his thoughtful service! The hotel breakfast was also good; a staff member seated us, so we didn't have to find our own table. You just place a 'reserved' sign on the table and then go get your food. We are very satisfied with this hotel and will definitely consider staying here again if we have the chance.

The suite was very clean, and having two bathrooms was incredibly convenient. There's a balcony with a window that can be opened, which is very important for the elderly. We swapped our hotpot reservation for an afternoon tea, and it was very generous. The morning tea, with the discount, cost just over 150 RMB. Freshly baked bird's nest egg tarts came out at 10:30 AM. The quality of the food was good, and it offered great value for money. It's convenient for getting to all the major attractions like St. Paul's Ruins, The Parisian, and the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal.

I’m a local staying here for post-surgery recovery, extended my stay two times. Reception is decent and helpful. The Japanese restaurant on ground floor is really good and so is the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. I’d say give it a try if you’re staying there, the price is average, totally not overpriced for being inside a hotel. The room soundproof is terrible, you’re out of luck if other guests staying in rooms surrounding you talk super loud or have loud kids. You can also clearly hear conversations outside the hallway. You can also hear the water pipe noises whenever people staying upstairs/downstairs shower. Not the most serene environment. Amenities are alright, the provided shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are a bit small so you’d constantly have to ask for refills for longer stays. The bath tub is bigger than usual ones so that’s a good thing but not a fan of the type of shower head they chose, and the tube is a bit short too but there’s an overhead if needed. I wouldn’t say the location is convenient for tourists as there is nothing surrounding the hotel but they do provide scheduled shuttle buses to get round town and to some hotspots. The walk to the nearest light rail station is around 12-18min (depending on your pace) on foot.

The hotel shuttle is easy to find – just turn right after exiting the airport. Get off at the Studio City stop. To your left is The Celebrity Tower, and to your right is The Star Tower. I checked in at The Celebrity Tower around 4 PM and there was no queue. The staff were very proactive in helping with my luggage. The suite at The Celebrity Tower was incredibly spacious, with a huge bathroom area. The mini-bar was as well-stocked as ever, and I appreciated that the bedside chargers didn't require an adapter. On the ground floor, the Pop Mart store had a full selection of SKULLPANDA figures. Unlike last year, points can no longer be redeemed. Don Quijote is still there, so if you don't want to go to Japan, you can do some shopping at the supermarket. To catch the light rail, turn right from The Celebrity Tower, walk to the end, and go up to the second floor. It's 6 MOP for two stops to Pai Kok, where you'll find plenty of delicious food on Cunha Street.

I've been to Macau many times, and this is my third time staying overnight. The first time, I stayed at an affordable guesthouse in the old city center – clean and tidy, right across from Wen Ji Cafe & Snacks. It wasn't far from Grand Lisboa and St. Paul's Ruins. The second time, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza near the Gongbei Border Gate. The room was super spacious, breakfast was delicious, and the king-size bed was very comfortable. This time, a few of us bit the bullet and booked a room at The Venetian 😭 – decided to splurge a bit. They said it was a Royal Presidential Suite, and it even came with two tickets to the Parisian Macao's Eiffel Tower (the front desk lady mentioned that the 7th floor is actually free to visit now). The rooms in Macau, compared to neighboring Hong Kong, are not just a little bit better [facepalm]. It really is a city centered on entertainment and service industries, with a different positioning than Hong Kong. We took a private car from Hong Kong, and as soon as we got out, a young man helped us with our luggage and gave us a luggage tag. When checking in, you just give the tag to the front desk, and your luggage is automatically delivered to your room. The room was large and spacious, with a separate living room and two TVs. To put it bluntly… the bathroom in this suite could rival an entire Hong Kong hotel room in size! The bed 🛌 was huge and comfortable, the sofa was great, and the view from the large floor-to-ceiling windows was pretty good too – though I imagine the view would be even better from the opposite rooms. Next time, if I get the chance, I'll try out Galaxy and Studio City too [smirk]. Even though it's not ** (missing original text, likely referring to 'cheap'), it's definitely worth experiencing [evil grin]. In mainland terms, almost all hotels in Taipa can be considered top-tier luxury, haha… especially with all the rumors surrounding Wynn Palace, haha… so much 'color' has been added to it… Macau is truly unforgettable and suitable for people of all ages to visit. Thumbs up!

We checked in late, and the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming, even upgrading our room – what a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the view from the window was charming. It's super close to popular attractions, just an 8-minute walk, and there are many great Macau-style tea restaurants nearby with delicious food at reasonable prices. Plus, there are plenty of buses right outside the hotel, making it really convenient to get anywhere. Perfect for traveling with kids! The staff didn't talk much, but their service was top-notch. Highly recommend!

This hotel is incredibly convenient for traveling from Hong Kong to Macau. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. The security guards were also very helpful, assisting with luggage and opening car doors, which made things so much easier for us. I had a wonderful stay this time – it’s my second visit, and I’ll definitely choose this hotel again if I have the chance. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it super easy to get around. Check-in and check-out were both incredibly quick, which was great when traveling with kids and on a tight schedule. The room was very clean, spacious, and bright, with all the amenities you could need. The hotel environment is also lovely, quiet, and spotless. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of options, and it was easy to get to the restaurant from our room. Not only did we enjoy a comfortable stay, but the staff were also so enthusiastic, and the restaurant service staff were very polite. My child accidentally broke a spoon during a meal, and a kind waitress immediately replaced it, even warning us to be careful not to cut ourselves – I felt so bad! Another waiter promptly cleared empty plates during the meal. The attention to detail was exceptional, truly commendable! Thumbs up, it's absolutely great value for money!

The location is great, very close to Grand Lisboa and Lisboa Hotel. There are bus stops nearby, making it convenient to get around. The hotel's cleanliness is good, and the bedding is quite comfortable. The front desk service and luggage storage were both good. However, the soundproofing in the room isn't great; you can hear conversations from next door very clearly. 😊

XXiaoxiaodehopeOverall, it's pretty good. Head to Shen Ge Cafe for breakfast – you won't be disappointed. The full set of L'Occitane toiletries in the room is a nice touch, and the bedding is also good. My only minor gripes are some layout issues, like a lack of power outlets and the inconvenience of having to reach over to the bathtub to squeeze out shower gel.

Yyu RebeccaThe room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. I stayed in the Banyan Tree Tower on a high floor, and there were no strange odors. I booked a Cotai View room, and the service was excellent. Eating and shopping downstairs were incredibly convenient. On check-in day, I arrived around 3 PM. They initially said the view room would take 1-2 hours, so I planned to store my luggage and go out. However, after a quick restroom break, when I returned to drop off my bags, the front desk told me a room was already available. Overall, I was very satisfied. The second floor has the famous Lord Stow's Bakery (Andrew's Egg Tarts), and there was no queue. On the ground floor near the elevators, there's a Jade Restaurant, where the beef noodles were exceptionally delicious, and the staff were very welcoming. Checking out was a breeze; I just handed the card to the front desk staff in the lobby and left. Getting a taxi outside was also very easy. It's super convenient to visit the Londoner and Parisian hotels for night views and photos – just a short walk away. I wasn't offered a complimentary suite upgrade; they said it would cost an extra 500 MOP per night, which I declined as the view room was perfectly fine. Walking from the ground floor towards the food court area, you can catch the changing of the guards performance at The Londoner. Tim Ho Wan (添好运) Hong Kong-style dim sum is also nearby; it's very tasty but gets crowded, so you'll need to get a number and wait in line.

NNari.Pousada Marina Infante is a comfortable and well-located hotel that offers a balanced stay for travelers looking to explore Macau without the overwhelming luxury or crowds of the major casino resorts. Situated on Taipa Island, the hotel enjoys a strategic position close to both cultural attractions and modern entertainment, making it suitable for leisure travelers, short business stays, and first-time visitors to Macau. One of the hotel’s strongest points is its convenient location. Pousada Marina Infante is within walking distance of Taipa Ferry Terminal, making arrivals from Hong Kong or other nearby regions smooth and stress-free. Popular destinations such as Taipa Village, Cotai Strip casinos, and shopping centers are only a short taxi ride away. Despite its accessibility, the hotel is set slightly away from the busiest areas, offering a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere compared to the large integrated resorts. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. While the design is somewhat traditional and not particularly modern, it provides a comfortable and functional environment. Many rooms offer pleasant views of the marina or surrounding greenery, which adds to the calm ambiance. Beds are comfortable, air conditioning works efficiently, and basic amenities such as free Wi-Fi, a minibar, and work desks are provided. For travelers who value practicality over luxury, the rooms meet expectations well. Service at Pousada Marina Infante is generally friendly and professional. The front desk staff are helpful, courteous, and willing to assist with directions, transportation arrangements, or local recommendations. English communication is adequate, which is reassuring for international travelers. Housekeeping maintains a consistent standard, ensuring that rooms remain tidy throughout the stay. The hotel also features useful facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool and a small gym. While not extensive, these amenities are sufficient for guests who want to relax or stay active during their trip. The on-site restaurant offers a mix of Chinese and Western dishes, suitable for breakfast or a simple meal, though guests seeking more diverse dining options may prefer nearby local eateries or Cotai’s restaurant scene. Overall, Pousada Marina Infante provides solid value for money in Macau, especially for travelers who prioritize location, comfort, and affordability over extravagant luxury. It is an ideal choice for those planning to explore both Taipa and the main Macau Peninsula, or for visitors who want a peaceful base away from the noise of large casinos. While it may not impress with cutting-edge design or high-end facilities, its reliability, convenience, and calm environment make it a dependable and pleasant place to stay.

HHulideyichuhexunlianWe requested a smoking room, but there was hardly any lingering smell, which was great. We stayed on the 17th floor, and the breakfast included a fantastic lobster buffet – truly all-you-can-eat! Downstairs, you can go shopping, and it's quite close to Wynn Palace. To get to Senado Square, there's no shuttle, so you'll need to take a taxi or other transportation. We paid 80 MOP for a taxi there. On the way back, we took a shuttle to another hotel and then walked the rest of the way. Overall, the breakfast offers much better value for money than the local cha chaan tengs, so it's definitely worth trying.

AAnonymous UserThe location is incredibly convenient. It's a straightforward 15-minute walk from the Border Gate straight to the hotel. It's been so long since I stayed in a Macau hotel, and they still require a deposit? And it's 2025, yet the hotel doesn't accept electronic payments? My world just fell apart! I didn't bring my credit card, sobbing... In the end, I had no choice but to pay cash. Seriously, you really need to read the fine print when booking a room. This stay included breakfast. We arrived at the restaurant around 8:30 AM. There's one area for the buffet and another for à la carte dim sum (self-funded). The food selection is decent, and it looks presentable, but the taste is on the blander side, haha. Overall, the value for money is pretty good.

AAnonymous UserGrand Lisboa Palace Macau is truly impressive. Although it's a bit far from the Taipa core area, the shuttle bus service is incredibly convenient, and hotel guests even get to skip the line! The ambiance is beyond words – the European palace style is super elegant, and the 'Verdant Paradise' garden is perfect for stunning photos. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with high-end, thoughtful amenities, including a fully smart bathroom and a complimentary mini-bar. I was able to check in early at 12 PM. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall and a casino. The staff provides meticulous and thoughtful service, and 'The Grand Buffet' is highly recommended! Overall, I'm very satisfied.

YYaoyaoduyaodeyaoLocation: It's just one light rail stop from the airport (you can buy tickets at the window using WeChat Pay or Alipay). From the hotel, you can walk through City of Dreams to reach The Londoner, MGM, Wynn Palace, The Venetian, and other key attractions. Ambiance: The room lighting is warm and inviting, it's clean, and the layout is well-designed. It features double sinks, a separate wet and dry area, and even bath salts are provided. Service: From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently proactive, enthusiastic, polite, and efficient. A big thank you to the two ladies who checked me in (their names are in the picture) – they introduced all the room facilities and explained the most convenient routes for getting around nearby. The gentleman at check-out also proactively asked if I needed to store my luggage, where I was going, and which bus to take, which made me, as a first-time visitor, feel very much at ease.

YYidanThis hotel was absolutely perfect for my child and me while attending a concert at the Galaxy Arena! It's just a few minutes' walk directly to the venue, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The concierge service was warm and attentive, and the front desk staff, especially one lovely lady, spoke so softly and kindly, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. After the concert, when I brought my child back to the room, we found it had already been meticulously tidied up – such a thoughtful touch! The hotel offers express check-out, saving us time when leaving. The beds were super comfortable for a good night's sleep, and there's a huge variety of food options downstairs. Plus, there's a direct passage to the LRT station, making our return to Hengqin Port in Zhuhai exceptionally easy.
