From the customer relations girls at reception to the cleaning ladies, Mengjin group staff excels in providing warm, friendly service to all their guests. Location is perfect for first time visitors to Kunming, you get to experience the old and the new just a short walk away. The hotel has exceptional standards with quality furnishings and bedding. Rooms are well appointed, the bed is comfortable and the soundproofing is fantastic. Breakfast is a limited choice of noodles but it is sumptuous and fulfilling. I especially like the coffee machine where you can get unlimited quality coffee anytime you want. We stayed at Moon Shine when we arrived and at this hotel Moon Shy before departing. Will definitely look out for this group's other outlets and will definitely stay here again! Thank you to the service staff for being so helpful, kind and caring. Special mention to housekeeping auntie who washed my socks ❤️. No 6 star hotel will ever give you that warmth.

Traveled and used hotels in many places. But I've never been as impressed as I was at ibis Kunming Nanping Pedestrian Street. The receptionist who took care of me on the afternoon of December 11th took very good care of me. I walked up to the room and inquired about it myself. Does the room smell? Is it comfortable to stay? We just gave a little feedback and the staff offered to change rooms immediately. Make every service easy. The welcome fruit was wonderful.

The location of this small hotel is really good, just few hundred metres away from the Kunming Railway Station. The room is very clean and receptionist is attentive. The surrounding area has lots of local eateries and it is easy to get Didi rides from this location. There’s also a grocery shop that’s very well stocked just 50 metres away. You could even take the local bus from the nearby railway station.

It was a great experience booking this hotel for this trip! The hotel is located on the Nanping Pedestrian Street. There is a big banyan tree at the door. The overall building is antique, and the rooms are simple and elegant, clean and tidy. The service is very considerate in all aspects. When you check in, you will make a reservation for breakfast the next day, as well as afternoon tea and evening sweet soup. The various Yunnan-style snacks such as rice noodles for breakfast are very delicious. The hotel is a courtyard-style building. There is no elevator. Take the stairs. The waiters will help you carry your luggage. If you go to Dali, you can also store your luggage in the hotel. The service is very good. The hotel is located in the city center, making it very convenient to go out and play.

Room was clean and the staff very helpful. No English is spoken, but I speak some Chinese and the staff can add you on wechat to communicate and share locations. The staff upgraded me, and the room was nice, clean and quiet—despite the very central location. Location could be a bit hard to find the first time, but the Trip.com app opened up Baidu maps for me and led me straight to one of the hotel entrances, though it wasn’t the main one (was just 10m west of the main one). I called the number and the staff guy came right over, so no problem. Other reviewers also say the staff can come guide you over, so you could also try that.

However, Hotel did never inform where to wait for the airport pickup shuttle bus during the entire booking, which is very inconvenient for international travellers. Although we added 华顾酒店前台1 as friend on WeChat and wanted to check where to wait for airport pick-up shuttle bus, we didn't get any reply. In the end, we had to make international call at the airport to the hotel to get such info.

Facilities: The facilities are very new and everything is complete Hygiene: Very clean. It feels very refreshing when you enter. The location of the hotel is also relatively easy to find. It is right opposite Kunming Commercial South Asia. It is super convenient to go around the street and so on. The location is near the metro. It's just 5 minutes walk. Easy to find this property. The girl at the front desk when I checked in is enthusiastic to help me. She almost doesn't speak English but she's had a lovely service mind. This property is so close to the green lake park. I spend the time from this hostel to the park just 4 minutes walk. It's worth to stay here and the price can afford for the solo travelers who want to save cost like me.

Highly recommended. Definitely will come again! We booked 3 rooms over here for 1 night. Shop owner is really very helpful, suggested us tourist spots (which is really a steal, and amazing) and even helped us arrange and book for it. (Because we didn’t do much research before coming) And allowed my bro for late check out as he had food poisoning and had to rest in room. It's so nice to stay in the off-season. The boss chose a big room for us with a great view of the snow-capped mountains. In order not to disturb them, he put disposable items (water, toilet paper, toothpaste) at the door every day, which was also very considerate. The hotel was nice, strategic location (easy to access with luggage compare to other hotels / stay inside the lijiang old town which might have many stairs inside), they have laundry room and was reliable! I can say for new hotel, they have provided us with 10/10 service rating. the amenities on the room was enough, but pretty sure bigger pump of shampoo and shower gel might be better for the future! They still have work ongoing the hotel, however it doesn’t bother us staying there. It’s getting more and more aesthetic. Will be staying there for sure when I get back to Lijiang! Even though never got the opportunity to have breakfast on the hotel, however Ms Jenny and the hotel’s chef have arranged and packed us breakfast that was delicious. Ms Jenny and other staffs there were very helpful, fast response!

We are very happy with our stay at Lijiang Anly Private Soup Hotel. It is located at the heart of the Old City and is surrounded by various small shops with local goods. The rooms are clean and cosy. The terrace gives fantastic panoramic view to the Old City of Lijiang. Breakfast is served from 8 to 10, and it is good. We are especially thankful to the hotel stuff, because they helped us with everything. They met us at the airport, helped us to organize the trip to the mountains and to rent a car. We highly recommend the hotel!

Had an extremely wonderful and relaxing stay here during our trip to Lijiang. Conveniently located just beside the old town, the area is not noisy which is good for us light sleepers, while being within a walking distance to most of the sights around the old town. Also it means you dont have to torture your luggage (and yourself) by dragging it over the cobblestoned alleys within the old town itself. The room is spacious, clean, well maintained and equipped with all the amenities you need including hair dryer and toilet with seat warmer and automatic bidet. Tom speaks very fluent English and is super helpful in making sure we had everything we needed: from recommendation on what to do/eat, transport from airport, arranging meals and tea, packing our breakfast on the day we had to leave early. We also had a package delivered and Tom helped to receive it as we were outside during that time. Thanks Tom for making our stay here a memorable one! would love to come back for sure.

Pros: This is a good hotel for a family! My son loves the animal feeding activities. The view at the tea house is amazing. The hotel has their own game room, convenient store, etc. They have many restaurants and taste delicious!! Breakfast has lots of choices and starts early. The expat manager/supervisor woman was really nice, friendly, helpful and accommodating! Thank you! Cons: 1. The front desk/reception. They need to be more welcome and friendly. They were snobbish, not welcome and can’t really speak english (its a chain hotel, hyatt hotel!). We were just about to checked in and were greeted with those frown, if only we havent paid the room we were thinking to move to pullman instead. 2. Book for mountain view room, but they gave us no mountain view. we have to ask to move to other room. 3. We got the room we want, but i think they havent clean the room for awhile, the floor is filthy. 4 if only there is no time schedule to see the alpaca since some people already has their plans for the day and the time schedule might not be fit with guest itineraries. Or they can give us the hotel schedule once we booked the hotel so we can work on our itineraries before check in. Conclusion: we really enjoyed our stay. Other staffs beside the front desk are nice and friendly. Might come back if they improve the front desk ladies.

The guest house is located in a quiet street off the main pedestrian street in the old quarter of Lijiang. The hotel is beautiful, quiet and full of antique decorations. In front of the guest house, is a large garden where the locals grow their food, so picturesque. The staff are warm and friendly, and helped us to book a fantastic hike through the surrounding mountains. Our guide, Bongdu, was amazing, he had so much knowledge to share about the plants and the monastery we visited. The room was fully fitted with a range of amenities and the food was delicious. No complaints at all, a wonderful place to stay.

This place is not a hotel but a penthouse of a condo converted into a very nice, warm, welcoming and hi tech BnB. The place is clean, convenient and comfortable. It’s near to Erhai park, lotsa dining options and it’s convenient to call for a didi. As it is a penthouse, you have a spectacular view of Erhai. Recommended.

The host and the staff are very very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to everyone for your stay in Lijiang, and we will definitely return to this hotel! The homestay locate at a quiet and peaceful street, 15mins walking distance away from Lijiang Old Town, with a lot of eateries and convenient shops around. The staffs constantly checked on us, helping us with all of our enquiry and also our MeiTuan delivery!

Hidden gem (stay) found in Dali! The interior and exterior of the b&b was superb, with a lake at the patio and several seats to chill on! The room was very cozy, equipped with all required amenities (with a Dyson hairdyer!). Balcony view overlooking the patio was also great, with a sneak peek of mountain. Location of the b&b was really good too, with a short 7 minutes walk to Dali Ancient City. The place was quiet, with eateries and convenient store nearby. It was quiet at night as compared to stays in Ancient City where they will be some tourist crowd. Overall, GOOD!
