Honestly, we found it to be quite a disappointment. We had a rainforest chalet, but we didn't like its location. The service is excellent, as they pick you up when you call, but sometimes there can be a wait. The chalet is a bit on the small side and also somewhat in need of renovation. You wouldn't want to sit on the balcony in the dark. We found the resort too busy/crowded, but that's a matter of taste. We don't like that. Because it was so busy, there were no loungers available by the pool. We also only just managed to get the last loungers on the beach. It was also difficult to find a table during breakfast. There's not much to do at the resort. For older people, that's fine, but not for us. The restaurants are okay. We ate at the restaurant on the water. You have a beautiful view during your dinner there. We thought that was very nice. If you like crowds and hustle, just want to lie in the sun all day, and eat on-site, then this resort could be a good option. However, the value for money isn't entirely okay in our opinion. You pay top dollar for a tiny, secluded chalet, and if you want to lie by the pool, there's no lounger available. If you have to fight for a lounger and a breakfast table every day, we would be very frustrated. Luckily, we only stayed for two days. We felt that was sufficient.

We had a wonderful time in July. I particularly want to highlight the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. It's so lovely when everyone smiles at you, always and everywhere. The few issues that arose were resolved incredibly quickly. However, there are a few things to consider when planning your trip. A significant plus is the long, expansive beach stretching to the left of the hotel. The beach is quiet and calm. It's not the most popular section of the beach; it's a more secluded part, which was a bonus for us. No hustle and bustle, no crowds. There are several surf schools here because this part of the coast has waves during the season. For us, having surfing available was a fantastic bonus. For 10 days, there wasn't a single day with a calm sea. Every day had waves of varying intensity. Because of this, the water was always (!) murky. In July, the sunset isn't over the sea, but behind a neighboring island, yet it's incredibly beautiful on a clear day. Many families with children stay at the hotel. The main pool is noisy. But a major plus is the 18+ infinity pool on the 5th floor. This is where you'll find relaxation and quiet. My main complaint about the hotel is the constant smell of food from the restaurant in the main pool/beach area, even by the sea. It's a persistent smoky, unpleasant odor of fried oil. This bothered me significantly. The hotel has absolutely no private grounds for walking, just a small lawn near the restaurant and that's it. It's a 5-minute walk to the lively street with amenities. No complaints about the room cleaning; it was spotless every day, and our housekeeper Salim did an excellent job. The breakfast was quite varied, with many Asian dishes and a selection of European options. The yogurts and fruits were delicious, but the pastries were weak and not very tasty. The freshly squeezed juices were great. The coffee was average quality. The hotel also has a premium restaurant, Lancava. It's luxurious. All the dishes were outstanding, and the service was polite, attentive, and pleasant.

The front desk staff were pleasant and welcoming, taking the time to explain the facilities and amenities available around the property. However, the check-in process felt somewhat disorganized, as our passports were collected and we were asked to wait at the side without much further guidance. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find the bed beautifully decorated with towel art, along with a complimentary dessert after we made a special request, despite having no expectations of receiving anything from the hotel. My husband and I truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture, it made us feel warmly welcomed. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience did not quite meet the standards we would expect from a 5-star hotel. The staff appeared somewhat inexperienced, and service was inconsistent. When we arrived, there were no available tables, yet we were instructed to enter and find a table ourselves. This left us feeling awkward as we stood around waiting for other guests to finish their meals. What made the experience more disappointing was that a family who arrived after us was promptly escorted to a table, while we were left to continue waiting, which felt unfair. We also had to repeatedly request utensils as some tables were properly set while others were not. While these may seem like minor issues individually, together they affected the overall dining experience and fell short of the level of service we would expect from a hotel that positions itself as a 5-star property. Overall, we enjoyed the room, hospitality, and thoughtful touches provided by the hotel. The stay had many positive aspects, but improvements in breakfast operations and service consistency would go a long way toward delivering the luxury experience that guests expect.

The resort view is very beautiful, lots of nature around. Even though a shelly beach, the private beach is a big plus. Been visiting for 11 nights, if you need something (amenities, meal wise), just ask, the professional staff will deliver. Tide pool unfortunately was out of service, but renovations started before we left. Big swimming pool awesome, kids pool awesome! Just check sharp corners of broken tiles. Assume due to humid warm weather, mould on the outside of walls and doors is an issue, but still not nice to see that no effort was made to wipe it off throughout our 11 night stay. For all activities (mangrove forest tour, island hopping, cable car and the sky bridge etc), easy to organize via reception or private tour companies (do your homework, can get the experiences for cheaper). Breakfast very diverse and yummie! Kids playroom needs a thorough clean, lots of human hair lying around. Gym well set up with lots of equipment, reminder there is a jacuzzi and sauna free of charge to utilize. Overall thank you once again for all the professionalism from reception staff, room cleaning services, restaurant staff, buggy drivers, kids club staff and the regular checkins by staff like Justin for making our home away from home stay very enjoyable! Hope to return soon in the future!

After arriving at Langkawi Airport, it only took about ten minutes to drive to the hotel, which was much closer than I expected. I was initially worried that being so close to the airport would mean noise, but I slept soundly every night and wasn't bothered by planes at all. The lobby is spacious and grand. There are two restaurants, Chinese and Western, located next to each other. The Western restaurant offers excellent sea views, and the Chinese restaurant has a wide variety of dishes. There are two swimming pools, and my kids loved them so much they spent half the day just splashing around. The hotel also has a private beach with fine, white sand that's very comfortable to walk on barefoot. The seawater is clear, and you can see small shells during low tide. The rooms are in two-story buildings, with four units per building, offering plenty of space and all the necessary amenities. If you need a buggy to get around the resort, you just call, and they respond quickly; the car arrives in about 5 minutes. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, perfect for families with children.

The hotel is well-maintained, and the breakfast is consistently good! The fishing trip was a lot of fun, caught plenty of fish. However, I'd recommend booking the mangrove tour elsewhere (the hotel's mangrove tour didn't feature any bats). The beach is very clean, but there aren't many small creatures (like hermit crabs...). The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Choosing this hotel for our anniversary was definitely the right decision. All in all, it truly is one of Langkawi's top hotels.

The staff's attitude was generally good. Turndown service was provided in the evening, and there were welcome fruits. Since it was the Easter holiday, they even specially gifted chocolates shaped like bunnies and Easter eggs, along with a handwritten card which felt very ceremonial! The only area for improvement would be the restaurant's food, as the breakfast selection was quite limited.

The Rainforest Corner Room cost over 11,500 for two nights, which is worse than a 2.3k hotel in China. The service and everything else were just mediocre. Many hotels in Sanya totally outperform this one. I didn't experience any good service at all. I even extended my stay for two more nights, and in the new room I moved into, the cleaning staff just took all my snacks. I was hungry at 4 or 5 AM and had nothing to eat. That was absolutely speechless; I don't know what the staff was doing. The 24-hour room service food wasn't great for the three days I ordered it; the selection was pitifully small. The only upside was the oxygen machine, and the room decor was okay. Just very average, average, average.

The hotel is simply magnificent. The view from the room is splendid, the staff are friendly, and the room is clean with thoughtful amenities for a comfortable stay. The beach is excellent, and it's great that the hotel staff clean it every morning, as waves can bring in debris. The sea is wonderful, calm with no significant waves, perfect for a relaxing swim. The hotel also has two pools, suitable for children. The breakfasts are fantastic. We booked a room with a sea view, and the view is indeed impressive. What could be improved: installing YouTube on the TV. Overall, my impressions of the hotel stay are only positive :)

The hotel environment is excellent, with its own private beach and a large swimming pool. The architecture is unique, and the rooms are spacious and well-equipped, though some minor details could be improved. Its location is a bit secluded, but it's not far from the airport and very close to Oriental Village and the Panorama Langkawi. There aren't many dining options around the hotel, but I tried all three main restaurants and highly recommend the Italian one. The breakfast buffet was a bit unremarkable, but the à la carte menu was fantastic. I highly recommend trying the pancakes, waffles, eggs Benedict, and Roti Canai from the à la carte. They also have a great selection of coffee; I recommend the Flat White and Latte! Oh, and don't forget to take a walk on the beach at night and look up at the incredible starry sky!
