The room is large and the front desk staff is very nice. The hotel provides swimming pools, saunas and other facilities. The hotel offers open-air parking, which can accommodate many cars, right at the hotel entrance.

Modern property with all the comforts and amenities. Right by the lake with restricted lake views, but direct access to the boardwalk.

Just by the lake, the scenery is very good, driving to the restaurant concentration area is also 7 or 8 minutes; the two-story small row, very pleasant, there are two single beds upstairs, a large bed downstairs, toilets up and down Bathroom; there is also a small public hot spring pool.
Tongariro Lodge

I’ve just spent the weekend at Tongariro Lodge for a wedding. I had a wonderful time. The lodge is located in a beautiful and quiet setting next to the river. The staff made me feel very welcome. I stayed in a chalet. It was very clean on arrival, spacious and very comfortable. All I could hear from the chalet was birdsong and the sound of the river. I had a number of lovely meals at the lodge’s restaurant. The food was excellent and the service warm and attentive. The lodge also provided catering for the wedding on the Saturday. The canapés and dinner were fantastic. I’d highly recommend Tongariro Lodge to anyone who wants a peaceful and relaxing weekend away from the city. It was a great location for the wedding too. The lodge looked after us all very well on the day.
Sovereign Pier on the Waterways

Note that the room type is not a villa. Each house is an independent entry and exit of the two houses upstairs. If the room for you is upstairs, there is a terrace. If it is assigned downstairs, there is a lawn without a balcony. . The view of the yacht in our three-bedroom and one-bedroom balcony is the biggest highlight. There are two rooms in the three rooms and the living room facing the harbor. One room is facing the community. Everything in the room is good. The shower is very hot and the water is hot. This is good, the kitchen is big enough for you to cook and eat. It feels that each house has a different owner, and it is given to the management company for unified renting. The curtains in the bedroom are curtain-type, and there are gaps between the two. In the evening, the light is shining through the outside. At 6 o'clock in the morning, it starts to see through the sun. If it is not a good sleep, it should be difficult to sleep more than eight. There is nothing to play in the community, there is no place for a walk. The service is basically called no, except to get a key. Also please note that this two points will never let you stay in advance! There are two big supermarkets not far from driving, but there is not much to watch and play in the whole town.

Lake Taupo Lodge

A stunningly beautiful lodge with some of the prettiest landscaping I have ever seen in a small hotel. This was the owners family home converted into a lodge. Our room was, large, comfortable and lovely with a wonderful view of the lake. Very well managed and the owner personally poured each guest a friendly glass of wine in the evening and recommended locations for dinner. A great location for tours of the area. Equally important were the conversations with other guests at evening happy hours and morning breakfast. No negatives of any kind. We recommend highly.

River Birches Lodge

We just wrapped up a 2 week trip throughout New Zealand. After a few days up in the Bay of Islands we headed south to Wellington and the Southern Island. On our way we discovered The River Birches Lodge in Turangi on our way to Wellington. We booked the cottage which would be perfect for a family or a few friends. We were two couples and it was wonderful for us. What a great escape. The Turangi area is a little off the beaten path of most standard itineraries through New Zealand but it should become the standard. It is a beautiful area with georgeous hikes and the best trout fishing in all of New Zealand. The Lodge and the Cottage provide wonderful accomodation offering rest and relaxation. Located in easy walking distance to town or hiking distance in the forest if offers something for everyone. The cottage was incredibly comfortable. Jason and Rebeca go well above and beyond to ensure their guests are well cared for. Locals should make this a regular get away and tourists should at this stop to their planning.
