BEST STAY EVER! Long review, but a meaningful one. Hotel & Facilities: I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. The location is excellent, only about a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, plus all the shopping and food area. There is also a nearby bridge where I enjoyed beautiful views of the grottoes without entering the site! The receptionist Mengmeng upgraded my room to a suite free of charge, which made my stay even more memorable, since it was a special occasion! She was super helpful and kind through my stay. Housekeeping was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day and maintained to a high standard. The breakfast buffet had a variety of dishes and enough choices to keep breakfast interesting throughout my stay, I ate like a queen, besides the restaurant area is super peaceful. As a Spanish girl who does not speak good Chinese, I relied on translation apps, and the staff were always patient, welcoming, and eager to help. Exceptional Staff Support After I Sprained My Ankle: During my visit to the Longmen Grottoes, I unfortunately sprained my ankle. The level of care I received from the hotel staff was exceptional and was one of the main reasons I decided to extend my stay by an extra night. The receptionist Dan Dan and the driver Zhang Hong went above and beyond to help me the night I sprained my ankle. Ma Dan Dan was my main contact point. She regularly checked on me, provided ice for my ankle and even helped me do my laundry! She came up and down to my room several times to bring me everything I needed. I am very grateful for her time and care. The driver Changwang took me to the nearest health centre and he was super patient and talkative, which was nice. Special mention to one staff member called Wang Bing, she was working during the breakfast the day after I sprained my ankle and she was incredibly helpful, lovely and attentive, she even gave me a medicine for mosquito bites! Everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism. I believe mentioning their names is relevant, due to my particular situation, they deserve the recognition. As a solo woman travelling and getting injured far away from home, their support meant a great deal to me. Overall: Whether you are a domestic or international traveller, I highly recommend this hotel. The combination of beautiful facilities, an excellent location, outstanding cleanliness and nd caring staff made this one of the most memorable experiences I have had in my years of travelling. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so special !

The hotel boasts a convenient location, easy parking, excellent service, comprehensive facilities, a spacious lobby, attentive and helpful front desk staff, quick check-in, clean and tidy rooms, strong Wi-Fi, large beds, a clean bathroom, comfortable showers, and friendly housekeeping staff who proactively greet guests. It offers great value for money!

Always excited to try new hotels in Puyang! Passed by this place because there's an EV charging point at a petrol station. I've stayed in the business version of this Biway chain of hotels at Hualong District and it was not bad so I decided to take a chance. This hotel is the premium version of their business series and I'm glad to say that the interior is indeed premium. However it is considered small compared to other luxury premium level hotels in Puyang, but it is more convenient here so it is understandable. Staff is very friendly and well trained even though our check in was rather late. I'm a foreigner so it's a little tricky but all's well and they've upgraded us too. The room is smart so you can say ”Xiaodu Xiaomi” haha. The switches were intuitive so plus points to that! I love the hotel amenities like the hair dryer was pretty superb, heating system in the room is super toasty too. The beddings is really luxurious it's gotta be one of the best I've tried in China haha not an exaggeration. The pooping toilet is separate from the bathing toilet, I like that because my husband's 💩 is really smelly hahahha. Toilet seat is also heated and they provide a disposable toilet seat too. Note that this hotel has an EV charging point but only 1 parking spot so that's very few. Just a few suggestions to take it to the next level: 1. Toilet bowls could have a washing bidet. 2. There's veryyyyy slight hint of smoke smell but it is because my room isn't a non-smoking room. But I would suggest having differentiation of smoking and non-smoking rooms so sensitive folks like me would not smell it at all, or use a better ionic treatment. 3. The hotel should have more EV charging parking spots considering the large number of EVs in China. 4. TV apps are not paid so there's practically nothing much to watch. There are hotels with paid accounts so that's a bonus. Overall no complaints and I look forward to staying again!

From the moment I checked in to the moment I departed, my stay at this hotel was nothing short of perfection. I am incredibly particular about room hygiene, but this property managed to exceed every single expectation. The room was immaculately clean, completely dust-free, and smelled wonderfully fresh from the second I walked through the door. The attention to detail was obvious in every corner, from the sparkling bathroom to the pristine floors. Beyond the cleanliness, the room was a masterclass in comfort. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, featuring an ultra-plush mattress, high-quality crisp linens, and pillows that provided the perfect amount of support. Coupled with quiet, efficient climate control and excellent soundproofing, it provided a truly restful sanctuary. What elevates this hotel from great to extraordinary, however, is its incredible team. The staff here understand the true definition of hospitality, greeting every single interaction with a genuine smile and unmatched warmth. Throughout my stay, the entire team was professional, efficient, and eager to help. They did not just fulfill standard requests; they anticipated my needs and went completely above and beyond to ensure I felt valued and comfortable. You can truly tell that the staff care about the guest experience, and their flawless manners made a massive impression. If you are looking for a hotel that combines uncompromising cleanliness, luxurious comfort, and heartwarming hospitality, look no further. A Charming Old Town Homestay in Luoyang: Beautiful but with a Few Quirks! This is a beautifully renovated homestay nestled right inside Luoyang's ancient old town. If you are looking for a place with local character, this is a wonderful choice, though there are a few practical things you should know before booking. The Cons (Things to consider): The Location/Access: Because it is located deep within a narrow alley of the old town, large cars and taxis cannot pick you up or drop you off right at the doorstep. You will need to roll your luggage for about 400 meters to the main road. 🧳 The Breakfast: They serve a very traditional Chinese breakfast consisting of millet porridge, fried dough sticks (youtiao), and vegetable steamed buns. While it tasted good, it was a bit salty, and the menu was exactly the same every single day without any variation. The Pros (Why I still loved it): The Room & Vibe: Our triple room was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and the entire courtyard was beautifully decorated with a lot of taste and local charm. The Hospitality: The owner and the staff were absolutely amazing—super enthusiastic, warm, and helpful throughout our stay! ❤️ The Prime Location: Being situated inside the old town means it is exceptionally convenient. You can easily walk to all the major historical sights and the vibrant Drum Tower (Gulou) Night Market for amazing street food. 🏮🍢 Overall, despite the minor inconveniences with luggage and the repetitive breakfast, the massive rooms, lovely aesthetic, and unbeatable location make it a fantastic base for exploring Luoyang!

We stayed at the Chanwu hotel during our stay in Dengfeng. The hotel is ideally located, very clean, the staff is very friendly and ready to help for any request, our room was ok (516) with enough space for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), the breakfast is good however it can be difficult to find suitable food for young children (the large majority of the food is rather Chinese cuisine)

## Facilities Generally very good. The only minor point is that the hotel uses central air conditioning, which often doesn't cool the room as much as individual units, typically maintaining around 22°C, and can sometimes feel a bit stuffy. However, the hotel's maintenance staff responded quickly, and after they cleared it, the room did feel noticeably cooler. ## Hygiene The room was immaculately clean and tidy. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job. ## Environment The hotel boasts a fantastic location, right at the subway entrance, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. ## Service The service was truly excellent. Any issues we had were promptly addressed by the front desk. A special mention goes to the complimentary drop-off service to Zhengzhou East High-Speed Rail Station on our last day, which was a very thoughtful touch and much appreciated. My only very minor suggestion would be to improve the consistency or quality control of the welcome fruit. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Zhengzhou.

The room was clean and comfortable, I felt relaxed as soon as I checked in after a long journey! The breakfast was rich and the late-night congee was also great. The auntie who cooked the noodles was very enthusiastic, and both the noodles and wontons were delicious. Another bowl of congee with salted duck egg, super satisfying! They even had tofu pudding for breakfast with many toppings to choose from, and the fruit was fresh. Overall, I was very pleased! The front desk lady was also very helpful, she helped me choose a room with a view and refilled my tea bags when I ran out, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would choose this hotel again if I have the chance.

Zhengzhou Yuehai Hotel is one of my favorite hotels. It's less than a 5-minute walk from Exit D of Erqi Square. I booked a superior room. The location of Yuehai Hotel is superb; it's a peaceful oasis in a bustling area with a pleasant environment. It's not far from the entrance of the pedestrian street, and the night view of Erqi Tower is truly impressive. You can also check out Mixue Ice Cream & Tea and sample various snacks at Asia Plaza. [Winking face emoji] The hotel has been renovated, and the room facilities are well-maintained. [Thumbs up emoji] Upon checking in, I saw a market at the hotel entrance and bought some braised dishes and bread. The pastries were great value for money and just as good as a bakery's. The hotel service was incredibly thoughtful. They placed 4 bottles of water in the room, which was very convenient for me as I love drinking tea. [Grinning face with smiling eyes emoji] When my local friends came to visit, the hotel also offered free parking. [Sparkling heart emoji]
