Although the decor is a bit dated, the hotel's location is excellent. It's right opposite Duan Bridge and a 15-minute walk to the train station. They also offered complimentary afternoon tea and local specialty souvenirs, and the overall service attitude was good.

Even though it's an older hotel, it still exudes luxury and attentive service. As expected from a Shangri-La hotel, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the atmosphere feels fresh and clean. The lady at the breakfast restaurant was very enthusiastic and helped recommend various must-see spots. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and friendly, and the complimentary welcome coffee☕ was a nice touch. I stayed for three nights, and the hotel's location is excellent – super convenient with subway access, high-speed rail connections, and various shopping areas right nearby.

Facilities: Good The Shenyang Centre Hotel is conveniently located near Shenyang Middle Street, less than an 8-minute walk from the subway station. Downstairs, there are several snack streets worth checking out, including Laobian Dumpling. We stayed on the 26th floor, and our stay included breakfast and afternoon tea. Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM, and afternoon tea is from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The hotel also offers a self-service gym, a kids' club, and a laundry room. Room service can deliver food directly to your room. The staff's service attitude is excellent. The overall location is great for exploring. You can take the subway, a taxi, or even walk to places like the Forbidden City or other nearby attractions.

The room was spacious and bright, impeccably clean, with top-notch hygiene. The bed was just the right firmness, ensuring a very restful sleep. The overall atmosphere was warm and comfortable, perfect for both leisure and business travelers. It's definitely on my rebooking list!

This hotel near Middle Street has an amazing location! You can walk to all the tourist attractions, and the pedestrian street is right downstairs, making shopping super convenient. My stay here really exceeded my expectations. Plus, the front desk at Shenyang Phoenix Grand even gave me a free upgrade to a 'Runfu Lu' (I'm assuming this is a room type or a special perk, and translating it literally as it's a proper noun), which was fantastic. They were also incredibly patient and recommended many great local restaurants and fun routes, which was a huge help and saved me a lot of planning time. Getting to nearby attractions and shopping areas is very easy. They offer free underground parking and even allowed me to extend my check-out due to a change in my itinerary, which was incredibly thoughtful. This hotel is truly customer-oriented and highly recommended! I've already told my friends to choose this place when they visit Shenyang.

I was waiting for my friend to come out of the Shenyang train station. He was arriving by train from Harbin, and we had agreed that I would pick him up and then we'd stay at the Northeast Asia Hotel I'd booked. His train was delayed by 40 minutes, and I kept pacing around the exit. Finally, I saw him emerge, and we both realized we'd each put on a bit of weight, sharing a laugh at the sight. When we checked in, the front desk staff saw us chatting lively and kindly arranged for our two rooms to be next to each other. That night, we went to a BBQ place recommended by the front desk and drank until 1 or 2 AM. When we checked out, the front desk even asked how our night was, and they said that if we ever came back, they'd arrange connecting rooms for us again. The walk from Shenyang Station to the hotel, those few minutes, was the happiest walk of my year.

I drove to Zhongjie and saw this hotel had its own parking lot, so I booked a room after parking. The location is indeed excellent; Zhongjie Street is right downstairs, making it super convenient to get to Toutiao Hutong, and the Forbidden City is also very close. The subway station is right outside the hotel too. I was initially worried it might be noisy, but when I returned to the hotel around 11 PM after exploring, it was surprisingly quiet. The pillows were great – I slept really well!

HhidinginplainsightWe had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time. It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review. Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China). They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer. Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful! As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration. If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

AAnonymous UserI couldn't find the lobby at first, so I followed an arrow sign and went up to the fifth floor. There was a cleaning lady there, and I politely asked her, 'Excuse me, could you tell me where the lobby is?' She completely ignored me. I asked again, 'Excuse me, where is the lobby?' She then impatiently snapped, 'Who told you the lobby is up here? Haven't you ever been to a hotel before? Who told you the lobby is upstairs?' I replied, 'I couldn't find it, so where is it?' She haughtily said, 'It's on the first floor, obviously.' The whole interaction she was just very impatient and arrogant. I was here to take an exam nearby and had hoped to review at the hotel, but she completely ruined my good mood. Then, the soundproofing was terrible and it was so noisy. The next morning, after my exam, I wanted to take a nap, but I could hear everything clearly from the room next door – I couldn't get any sleep at all.

GGuest UserI was very satisfied with my stay here. The staff were all incredibly friendly. The hotel itself is in a prime location right in the heart of Shenyang city center. It's only about a 2km taxi ride to popular spots like Xita, Zhongjie, Taiyuan Street, and the Imperial Palace. If you prefer the subway, it's very close too – just about a seven or eight-minute walk, and there's a handy shortcut. While there aren't many breakfast options nearby, the hotel provides a fantastic breakfast from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, which is perfect for late risers. The restaurant offers a great variety of dishes, and the food was excellent. Plus, the laundry room and gym on the 8th floor are both free and open 24/7. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. A big shout-out to the lovely ladies at the front desk – they were wonderful!

GGuest UserSpontaneous trip with my mom! (^~^) I specifically looked for a hotel with a tatami room, which is perfect for older guests. The room and rooftop design have a distinct exotic flair. The hotel is very thoughtful, providing guests with many exotic-style outfits, and I got to take so many beautiful photos of my mom. The room also has a hot spring bath, so after a day of sightseeing, we enjoyed a lovely soak and a good night's sleep. We also indulged in a delightful afternoon tea, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Highly recommend! 💞
