We stayed over at the Marriott courtyard overnight for a hotel stay and parking for our international flight. The hotel is lovely fresh clean and modern, very Upto date in a contemporary style. We had evening dinner which was amazing, gr8’choice from the menu and it was served by lovely pleasant staff. We had soup of the day which was a very tasty lentil and ham which tasted home made it was so good 😊 then we had our main which was a fantastic burger which was absolutely delicious and amongst one of the best we’ve ever tasted and we are comparing the ones we got in New York to that! Washed down with a very nice red wine 🍷 it was the perfect dinner. When booking this hotel, the convenience to the airport was a major factor in and we will come back here time and time again, it was so good! If that wasn’t enough, our car had a flat battery on return from holiday and we asked at reception if they knew anyone who could give assistance after being up so early and having a fairly long flight, we had not envisaged this happening. Well what can I say - Martin Kooij the general manager immediately offered to help out and without hesitation he gave assistance with a jump start to our car! That is unreal service and goes above and beyond anything I’ve known. When you know a hotel as good as this one, is as helpful to lend assistance as this you know they really care about first class customer service and the experience we have had with helping us out is a credit to Martin who is a lovely amazing guy and who couldn’t be more helpful. Thanks again, we loved our stay so much here we will be recommending the hotel to all our friends colleagues and associates. Keep up the amazing five star service which I have no doubt you will!

Hotel seemed a bit tired and in need of some tlc, staff all friendly when spoken to and bar staff helpful. Bar area seemed a bit cramped and awkward. Our room was supposed to be executive but felt pretty cramped. Have stayed elsewhere for less and had more space. The bathroom had nowhere to put toiletries in or out of the shower and the toilet in a very enclosed space between the wall and the glass shower door. Actually banged my shoulder on the toilet roll holder! Room was clean but bed was rock hard and neither of us managed to get much sleep due to having to keep moving off the numb joint so often. The room was on the second floor and absolutely roasting so had to keep the fan on all night which was really noisy as well. Breakfast was plentiful and set out well but a bit tasteless. Overall disappointing stay for our anniversary.

We used the camper van site as an overnight stop when moving our daughter into the university. It is a great little spot, good sized pitches and each one has its own bench, electric hook up and water tap. The toilet block was clean and tidy with free flowing water in the showers (no fiddling with a button). There is a good if little pricey restaurant Recommended

My husband surprised me with a luxurious spa stay over in a secluded area on route towards Greenock. The facilities were amazing and are perfect for couples looking for a getaway from the noise of the city. I had a massage while my husband played a round on the golf course. Room, Spa facilities and restaurant were very well staffed and maintained. Spa team in particular were very great and seemed a happy bunch. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway !
