I feel a little sad for this property. A former Steigenberger, it opened more than 25 years ago and you still can tell, a lot of money was spend on the interior back than. But that, as mentioned, was more than 25 years ago! The now Vienna House faces a lot of competition by new hotels (Ana, Premier Inn, Motel One) or recently renovated one (pentahotel, Radisson Blu), so they just can't carry on with the 1990's style - it definately needs a makeover. Wooden furniture with dents and water marks everywhere, yellowed lamp shades, stained walls, carpets and ceilings... it's just not state of the art, anymore. Wifi was very unstable and we encountered an hairdryer without a protective grid which was a security hazard. That said: we slept great as our superior room was totally quiet and we really enjoyed the huge breakfast buffet. Staff was overall courteous and we were granted late check-out for no surcharge. The hotel's location is central with several tram lines just a few meters away and only a short walk to the pedestrian zone. Would me return? Yes, we would as the rates do reflect the outdated hotel's interior and the pros still weigh more than the cons.

When the ”first house on the place” was probably the location would deserve more care , especially the outdoor facilities and more treatments. We had a large room in the main house with beautiful stuckworks. The bed was super, the device is consistent to useful.Cleanliness is OK.But in the bathroom no soap and or cosmetic products (only donors) is delicate. The receptionist was well-looking but had not necessarily to stress 2x when check-in that she had actually a break at 14:45. Breakfast and room in the cellar were OK, or the price-performance ratio was OK. The house has earned more in terms of effort and staff. Potential is available if it is awarded by the guests what I cannot judge.

Wir haben hier für 3 Tage knapp 1000 Euro ausgegeben und ich habe mich noch nie so über einen Hotelaufenthalt so geärgert wie über diesen. Erst mal die positiven Sachen: Unser Zimmer im Haupthaus war neu modernisiert, sauber, groß und sehr schön, Reinigung erfolgte täglich und war tadellos. Frühstücksbuffet umfangreich und ohne Beanstandungen. Ruhige Lage, man kann auch sagen - sehr abgeschieden. Sehr schöne, einladende Lobby, geschmackvoll eingerichtet- Nun zu den negativen Erfahrungen. Es gibt keine richtige Rezeption in der Lobby, bei Anreise muss man erst mal den Mitarbeiter suchen, der einen eincheckt. Rezeptionspersonal sowohl bei der Anreise als auch bei der Abreise pampig und genervt. Der Service ist einfach absolut unterirdisch. Im Restaurant sprechen viele der Bedienungen kein Deutsch. Die wenigen, die wirklich arbeiten, rennen sich den Allerwertesten ab, der Rest steht rum und sieht nicht, wo Not am Mann ist. Mangels anderer Alternativen hatten wir Halbpension gebucht, welche als 3-Gänge-Menü angeboten wurde, zwischen allen Gängen vergingen allerdings mindestens 40 Minuten, bevor der nächste Gang serviert wurde. Essen zwar sehr schön angerichtet, aber qualitativ nicht immer dem Preis entsprechend. Im Hotel waren viele Familien mit mit Kleinkindern untergebracht. Neben dem entsprechenden Lärmpegel fuhren Kinder abends im Restaurant mit dem Bobbycar durch die Gegend oder spielten zwischen den Tischen Fangen. Der „Spa“- Bereich besteht aus einem kleinen Pool, der dringend saniert werden müsste und 2 kleinen Saunen. Im gesamten Saunabereich standen 2! Ruheliegen, für mehr ist kein Platz, da auch noch ein großer Kärcher in der Ecke des Ruhbereich geparkt wurde. Das Hotel hat keine Klimaanlage, und bei einer Außentemperatur von 20 Grad war es nachts dennoch sehr warm im Zimmer. Man konnte aber nur ein Fenster öffnen, das mit dem Fliegengitter, alle anderen muss man zulassen, da das Hotel von sehr sehr viele Spinnen heimgesucht wird, die man sonst im Zimmer hat. Dass es keinen wirklichen Strand gibt, sondern nur einen winzigen, mit Seetang versehenen, schmalen Zugang zum Wasser, hat uns jetzt weniger gestört, allerdings fahren viele der Gäste daher lieber mit dem Auto zu einem „richtigen“ Ostseestrand, der allerdings 22 km entfernt ist. Alles in Allem waren es die 270 Euro pro Nacht absolut nicht wert, wir werden dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen und es auch auf keinen Fall weiter empfehlen.

The location is great as it is just next to Rostock main train station, and the hotel offer every guests free local transport pass, a nice gesture for visitors in town. For area of improvement, I think the hotel should have evolve from traditional practice(strictly check-in after 2pm) and allow early arrival guests to check-in as long as room is available.

The hotel is simply clean, located at the park behind the Baltic Sea Stadium. The two stars at the service have the really (no irony!) friendly older gentleman in late and also the delightful night service in the roll. The young lady is recommended to go to the day service a profession where she does not have to/shall/shall be able to handle with customers.

Hotel as always excellent, rooms very clean, service, very good and quite friendly at breakfast. Hotel is recommendable. Little disadvantage: when travel bus guests are there it is very noisy at morning, right at breakfast.

The nice hotel is also available to recommend Rostock visitors with good conscience. It is located near the centre (1,5 km away) and just a short walk from the main station (5-8 Min. foot). And yet it is very quiet, in a residential area. The equipment + facilities is modern, good, ordened and everything is maintained / clean. I even had a small balcony. Very good beds! The service staff are very friendly and helpful, I missed nothing during my stay. High floors are accessible with a chair. Breakfast I had gone. I cannot evaluate early departure.

The location of the hotel near the train station and the friendly reception allow us to start our holidays relaxingly. The city centre is within a minute walking distance. The room was conveniently furnished and fully large enough for a short trip. The reception is open around the hour. The building has a playbank and a fitness centre. Also you can play bowling and billiards. By getting tickets for public transport free of charge, you can reach all the attractions around the area, even drive to the island of Rügen. The breakfast is delicious and extensive. Also here the staff is friendly and helpful.

Vom 17.-25.10.2020 wählten wir als Halbpensionsgäste das Parkhotel am Glienberg in Form eines Familienurlaubes. Ein herzliches Dankeschön sei allen Mitarbeitern, mit welchen wir Kontakt hatten, ausgesprochen. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl und herzlichst aufgenommen, egal, ob an der Rezeption im Vorfeld oder während des Aufenthaltes oder im Restaurant. Das leider notwendige Corona-Konzept wurde auf das Vorbildlichste umgesetzt. Das Essen war die reinste Gaumenfreude, vor allem am Abend. Das Wahl-3 Gänge-Menü überraschte uns immer wieder und war von wahrhaft ausgezeichneter Qualität und dazu eine Freude für die Augen. Hier wurden mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail feinste Speisen gezaubert. Auch das jeweils servierte Frühstückstablett ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der hausgebeizte Lachs war ein Gedicht! Leider war das Schwimmbad aufgrund eines fehlenden Teiles geschlossen, aber da wir an vielen Tagen sehr schönes Herbststrandwetter hatten, verbrachten wir die Zeit sehr gern am Meer. Unser Dreibett-Zimmer, welches wir uns mit unserer 17-jährigen Tochter teilten und welches für das Einzelbett leicht abgeteilt war, ließ keine Wünsche offen; ordentliche Möbel, neue Matratzen, auf denen es sich hervorragend schlafen ließ und die räumliche Größe war mehr als ausreichend. Wir fanden es wunderbar, dass wir mit dem Hotelausweis die Usedomer Bäderbahn nutzen konnten und so kreuz und quer die uns bereits so vertraute Insel Usedom, ganz ohne lästige Staus, erkunden konnten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall demnächst wieder Gäste in dem Hotel sein, da uns auch die ideale Ausgangslage sehr überzeugte. Den Ausrichtern des diesjährigen Usedomer Feenfeuers sei ein großes Kompliment ausgesprochen. Hier war viel Liebe zum Detail am Werk!

The hotel has a great location in the center and port. The service was GREAT. Very friendly staff, since we were 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), an extra bed was missing, which we did immediately after information. There was plenty of space in the room and everything was clean. The bathroom was large and a nice shower. There was a kettle with tea, coffee to make yourself. In the lobby there is water, apples and sweets to take away. The roof terrace on the 10th floor or higher was open to everyone and has loungers for sunbathing and a GREAT view of the harbor and city. We were all very happy.

This hotel is a big hotel with a shopping mall, but you will not notice anything from it. The Bar is also very pleasant, music on the background and all kind of people are there. Also in the corner a nice place to work even when you are sitting in the bar with a little snack :-)

We spent a prolonged weekend in this hotel and were excited! The staff is very customer-oriented, friendly and premature. Our room was large enough, equipped and clean. The interior is “the hamer”! But look stylish and really beautiful. The mix of modern, nature and colors has been mega successful. The wellness program offered we have of course also used. Massage and (small) swimming pool directly in the hotel. The arrival went well, the hotel is located something outside of Rostock, but very well to reach. Our room was equipped with a double bed, safe, TV, night table, luggage, desk, the bathroom was equipped with shower, washing table, toilet, oven, make-up mirror, soap, shower gel, shampoo. Fast and friendly check-in and check-out. The staff in the restaurant is top trained and advanced. The staff in the restaurant is top trained and advanced. The food would be allocated to the high class. The price/performance ratio is appropriate. The breakfast buffet was “the knocker”! Sufficiently available and also regularly made. The only thing missed a small smack was the time frame that was allocated so you had to look at the clock. The swimming pool in the hotel is a little small but sufficient for a wellness weekend. The offered massages were pleasant, but we were used to something else from our domestic massages. (As a woman I would have preferred a woman to be a massage woman. But that's my personal “problem”.) Price-performance ratio: Very good We'll certainly come back again.

We travelled for Easter 2022. We chose Aja Warnemünde because we had visited Aja Bad Sarow once and were satisfied. We paid a total of 1200 euros for 3 nights for 3 people with half-pension. Then the disappointment came on the first day of the trip. In the spa area we should share a bed to third, because there were not enough beds. Ground - many external visitors that were identified on the bracelets and so the beds were not enough for the hotel guests. The next disappointment came to the evening - the most beautiful tables with sea view in the restaurant were already “reserved” for the entire stay. Eating is OK, but nothing special. Tomates were of the cheapest - without taste. We wanted to go to bed tired when we realized that the bed linen was everywhere with holes. After our request next day, the bed linen was changed. But this is not possible - not for the price of EUR 1200. The hotel is located in the centre of the city centre and is located in the centre of the city centre. This should happen with us on Sunday - but it is not!! We only got toilet paper and towels according to my request, although the room should actually be sucked because the sand of the floor was already dirty. A lady then wanted to clean the room just Monday before check out - there was no coordination between reception and cleaning. If we weren't in the room, the lady would have cleaned the room twice.... before checkout and after. So overall disappointing. Concluded: The young lady at the pool bar was very nice. There were offers of osters for the children. The massage in the Niveahaus by the staff member Elizabeth was very pleasant.

The communication was properly completed immediately after the booking, the confirmation with all details came quickly by email. Since I was in the hotel more often, check-in was also prompt because the data were already available. My room wish was also considered. The hotel points with its 1A-Lage on the promenade. The gastronomic facilities cover a large range, from cafe to broilerbar, the staff are friendly and service-oriented. In the restaurant ”Dünenfein” I wished a little more look for the details (e.g. if you want to order something more as guest) - it was perhaps something due to the stress of the staff, but it was a bad thing. After a delle in service quality immediately during and after Corona I had the impression that it is going up again despite all the difficulties (managed skills ...). There are a lot of young people who are trained - I wish them not to lose their elan in the exercise of the profession. The fitness center has very modern equipment, I like the pool. The bathroom in the room seemed to have been renovated - which has strengthened the overall positive impression. I don't feel the hotel has come ”in the years”, as some reviews suggest, but it's certainly subjective. I'm always happy there and enjoy the comforts of the hotel. It is not a pretty little bit - but I have never regretted my choice for my outtime in warning mouth.

We lived at WE 22.4.-24.4. in the Parkhotel Chicken,the reception,the service,the room,the breakfast everything was excellent.We even received a parking place personally by the port, as we were on a reserved parking place accidentally

Anfang des Jahres hab ein paar Momente für mich gebraucht,alsobging es sehr spontan los Richtung Ostsee. Sehr nette und äußerst zu vorkommend Mitarbeiter. Man fühlt sich direkt wohlig aufgehoben. Das 3 Sterne Superior Hotel ist hochwertig renoviert und die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und am Abend lädt ein bezauberndes Bistro zum verweilen ein. Es gibt es ein COVID-19 Testzentrum kostenfrei im Haus,so dass man keine umständlichen Umwege machen muss und voll und ganz den Aufenthalt genießen kann. Ganz klare Empfehlung. Ich komme gerne wieder

We’re now on the 4th day of our week-long stay and are running out of supplies (toilet papers, soap, trash bags). Took several attempts to call the front desk successfully and when someone finally picked up, was told that they don’t provide additional supplies. It’s totally weird when this answer comes from a 4-star hotel. We paid so much, but they don’t provide as much. Check in experience was just OK as I had to wait in another line again since the person I went to doesn’t speak English. Splash area gave good first impression, but the slides in the play area are not slippery enough they don’t slide well although we already used the carpet provided. It’s a pity that they built many of them but none of the kids like playing with them. Unfortunately same thing happens with the big water slide in the pool area. My 4 year old has to slide himself with his legs all the way down. Apartments are well equipped, but again supplies are limited. No coffees/teas are provided. However, coffee machine and water kettle are there. Breakfast is good but not exceptional. I would try to find other places to stay next time as this is just an okay place to stay for the price I paid.

Das Dormero-Hotel-Rügen befindet sich im historischen KdF-Bau am Strandabschnitt Süd in Prora. Man kann bequem mit dem Zug anreisen. Der Bahnhof Prora-Ost ist wenige Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt. Das Apartment-Hotel ist eine Mischung aus Ferienwohnung und Hotel. Es überrascht durch seine großzügige Raumgestaltung - dies gilt sowohl für die öffentlichen Bereiche im Hotel (Flure, Fitnesscenter, Schwimmbad, Sauna und Ruheraum) als auch für die einzelnen Zimmer. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr gepflegt und neuwertig und eignen sich optimal zur Selbstversorgung. Ich war nun schon drei mal für kürzer Aufenthalte in unterschiedlichen Zimmertypen zu Gast - es hat mir immer sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer zur Meerseite sind überwiegend mit Balkon und viel Morgensonne und Meeresrauschen. Aber auch die Zimmer zur Rückseite haben ihre Vorzüge - noch mehr Stille und viel Abendsonne. Überhaupt fühlte ich mich in diesem Hotel immer sehr wohl und ungestört - so kann man sich richtig erholen. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beim einchecken wird sich viel Zeit für einen genommen - manchmal wird man auch persönlich zum Zimmer gebracht - überhaupt steht einem das sympathische Hotelpersonal für Fragen und Wünsche gerne zur Verfügung. Ich komme immer wieder gerne.

very good! When I went there, it was winter. There were not many guests in the whole hotel. The waiters were as warm and thoughtful as friends. The cafes and restaurants were all landscapes. There were many art books in the bookcases of the cafes. The food in the restaurants was delicious. The recommended wines were not. Expensive, but very good with the dishes of the day, very satisfied.

The hotel is located in the Danube Forest and near the beautiful beach (without street between!). The sports offer is also very good. We have visited the hotel since 2000 - especially because of its wonderful location and the related rehabilitation. We always say to ourselves ”The riders here - thank God - all passing in the direction of Zingst, Prerow, Wustrow and Ahrenshoop and have no idea how beautiful it is in Dierhagen Beach” :) The price-performance ratio is no longer comparable, Unfortunately, the gastronomy is no longer convinced as in the past. It is a sense that it is saved everywhere. A light view is here, director Mrs. Heinz, who has always had an open ear and this has been done for many years, Since we first made a acquaintance with her. We are happy to come back, even if we were no longer as satisfied as in the early years!

The hotel offers great large rooms, a fantastic spa area and a breakfast buffet that hardly opens wishes. Additional free activities in the hotel, such as billiard or minigolf can be perceived. Just next to it is a bike rental for all who want to explore the dars with the bike. The location in Binz is good – There is something outside the center, but it can be reached well in 10 minutes walking. The staff is very careful and also meets special wishes. There are points deductions for the expensive car park (12 Euro per day), the renovation works in the corridor, where the craftsmen were sometimes working for a long time right in front of our room door, the relatively bad coffee (and no sheep milk), The buffet night card, which does not justify the price of EUR 32, as well as the glass slide doors of the toilet in the room, which also have a large split and thus allows little privacy. We can recommend the hotel in all, and we would also come back.
