Grand Mercure Okinawa Cape Zanpa Resort

It was really hot when we first arrived at the hotel. Thankfully, the hotel had given us two vouchers to redeem welcome drinks. It was impressive that there is a wide range of choices regarding the drink. During the check in process, everything went pretty smooth. A big shout out to ms honoka ishiji, who is very welcoming and greeted us with a wonderful smile. She had recommended us a few restaurants around the hotel. We ended up picking the japanese-italian restaurant, which was awesome! We got a room with sea view and pool view. The view's nice and so as the room, really cozy and that made me feel like home (though the style of bedsheet and the pillocase is pretty outdated, but thats fine). Btw, the breakfast is definitely a must-try item in this hotel. Do remember to pick a window seat, so that you can enjoy your meal with the splendid sea view. All in all, that was a pretty good stay, and I think I will be visiting again very soon.
Hotel Resol Trinity Naha

Naha City Centre
I booked the hotel as the base for my solo Okinawa trip after a great stay at its Kyoto branch. Firstly, the pros: great location. 5-min walk from Asahibashi Monorail Station, 3-min walk to Tourist Visitor Centre and Naha Bus Terminal, 13-min walk to Kokusai-dori made it convenient for city sights, dining and souvenirs, bus daytrips and boat tours. Interior lobby, rooms and 13F public bath lounge seemed new and decorated in soothing natural tones, giving the hotel an island resort feel. Having said that, several major cons make me not wish to stay here again: 1) Hotel reception staff can be more welcoming. They declined me room entry at 130pm (which is typical in Japan) but they did so without offering help to store my luggage upon arrival or deliver it to my room by the time I return for check-in. They also declined my river view room request, citing the category I booked only has city view. Later, I found out on my own that only twin or triple rooms offer the river view. I was not expecting an automatic upgrade, but it would be nice if I had been offered a clear explanation on room categories or a change to river view room (even if I have to pay extra). I felt disadvantaged as a solo traveller. Also, staff are easily nervous when interacting with international guests and could not really handle simple questions in English, like whether there is a public bath, is it open to all guests, or how guests can pay for additional breakfast during their stay. I also observed them struggling to understand a request in English from two foreign guests who wished to borrow a luggage weight scale. Two senior staff members came out to help the reception staff, but all three still took a while to understand the request. 2) I was queueing behind the same foreign guests to raise urgent feedback regarding loud banging noises made by the 10F Smoking Room door directly above my room (Room 913). Meanwhile, 2 local Japanese guests arrived at the reception. I observed one male staff member ignore me and asked them to approach the counter instead. I nearly walked up to them but I held myself back. It was my first time being treated differently in all of Japan. This different treatment of guests added a seriously unpleasant feeling to my stay. 3) Not all room lights can be manually or motion-controlled. The light above the clothes rack is too bright and always on, even when the master switch is off. It was hard to fall asleep at night. The hotel should modify this room detail to ensure all guests can get a good night's rest. Will I stay here again? With the issues above and many other good hotels nearby, most likely not. The hotel decor may be warm and inviting, but the staff inability to communicate effectively with all guests and make them comfortable makes for a cold stay.
Hotel Aqua Citta Naha

Location is good, close to many things you need: Ferry pier to islands, fish market, temple/ small beach within city, shopping avenue and 美榮站monorail. Rooftop swimming pool is highlight, if it’s free of charge from 7pm-11pm that be excellent. I went at 4pm and just me there was perfect. Wish more ppl swim and fewer ppl take pic at pool for bragging in social media , they kinda disturbing with fancy swim suit and drinks in hands 😝. Pic showed bubbles blow around 8pm, super romantic and calming and peaceful. Another highlight:Pajamas is a surprise, soft and fit and comfy. I stayed in double room and is a bit small for 2 persons. One is good enough though
The Moon Beach Museum Resort

I booked a room with a city view and I was very impressed with the spaciousness and the cleanliness of the room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern, and the view was amazing. The hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and fast. I also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, the fitness center, and the free Wi-Fi. The only minor issue I had was that the coffee maker in the room was not working, but the staff quickly replaced it with a new one. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Okinawa

Although the room is quite small, it provides all necessary facilities you need when you stay in a hotel. Breakfast was good. Location is the best. One annoying thing is the smoking area at the front door of the hotel. We smelled it many times when we walked in or out from the hotel.
Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa

Hyatt Regency Okinawa Seragaki Location - 8/10: The hotel is located approximately 1 hour's drive from Naha Airport, and there aren't many restaurants or shops in the immediate vicinity. Service standard - 8.5/10: The front office staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. However, there might be room for improvement in the breakfast service, as it seems they may be understaffed. Enhancing the service level or hiring more staff would be beneficial. Room - 10/10: The rooms are spacious and appear to be new. It seems that all the rooms offer a fantastic sea view. Parking - 10/10: The parking area is available for a reasonable fee of 1000 yen per day. It is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk away from the hotel and has ample parking spaces. Additionally, the hotel provides frequent transport service between the hotel and the parking area. Environment - 10/10: The surroundings are well-maintained, and the facilities are clean and in good condition. Kid-friendly - 10/10: The hotel is exceptionally child-friendly. Upon check-in, the front office staff provided my son with a kid pack, and the facilities are thoughtfully designed to cater to children's needs. Additionally, the restaurant offers kid-friendly cutlery, making dining with children more convenient and enjoyable.

Sunset Beach Hotel
4.5/590 Reviews
We visited during our trip to Japan for the Rugby World Cup. I chose it as it looked a bit ”quirky” and was right on the beach. I did not expect it to be as lovely as it was. After the shoe box sized rooms in Tokyo we were spoilt for space. Beautiful rooms, all mod cons and loads of space. We were lucky enough to have a ground floor room which opened up directly onto the beach. The bathroom and shower were luxurious and you couldn't pick a better sport for a beautiful sunset. Reception staff were great - friendly and very helpful.
Hotel Resonex Nago

I wanted to stay near the sea. I looked for various information. There is a small sandy beach under my eyes. The main building ・ annex ・ East building is facing the south side and has a veranda ・ window. From Nago Bay to the headquarters Peninsula and far to the East China Sea. The rooms are up to 13 floors, but if you look at the sea far away, you don't seem to be so different on any floor. The high floor is expensive for accommodation, but... I planned several months ago aiming at the low price of airfare and off-shi―zn, but the decrease in inbound, corona beers, etc. are unexpected. I was a little lost because the situation changed and there was danger, but I decided to know that the air in the plane would be replaced in 3 minutes to JAL ・ ANA HP at the end of 2. The hotel was ventilated and adjusted with heating and cooling ・ dry. The weather was ”February wind”, and Naha Airport landed from the north and took off north. It was clear and sunny. Mochizuki was in the west of the headquarters Peninsula at dawn...
Okinawa Kariyushi Beach Resort Ocean Spa

There is a Chinese-speaking front desk; there are singing performances in the hotel lobby by chance, there are convenience stores and shopping malls, restaurants, and barbecue buffets; shuttle buses to and from the restaurant are provided, airport bus route information and adult ticket discounts are provided, there are relatively few breakfast categories, and the decoration style is old , The lights in the room are dim, there is dust on the switches, only the trash can is cleaned during the stay, the bed is not made, the bedding is poor and looks old... overall it is lower than expected.
