The room is large, but the mattress is too high, and the sofa is old and dirty, so I dare not sit on it. The room has a balcony, but it is useless in winter.
The air conditioner is very loud and cannot be turned on when sleeping.
Pros: The gym is good with complete equipment; breakfast is rich in variety.
Cons: The attitude of the front desk staff is average
After staying for a few days, I found that my body was swollen, red and itchy, as if it was caused by mosquito bites, so I dare not stay there anymore. Although there is no evidence that it is the hotel's problem, I stayed there for nearly ten days and did not stay anywhere else.

A go to hotel when I'm in Boston. Newton is a suburb but you can be in Boston very quickly but no subway stations nearby. It's right over the Massachusetts turnpike (but I've never felt bothered by highway traffic noise) it's not in town but couldn't be closer to the highway that gets you into the city or directly to the airport. It's got a great bar connected called Social that has really good food and live music sometimes on weekends and another small, neighborhood style bar right across the street (Buff's Pub) that has solid pub food and some of the best wings in the Boston area. They will for sure have whichever Boston sports game on. Bar closes early though, maybe 11pm. A great pizza place and a few other restaurants and a liquor store in walking distance (and a Dunkin' Donuts). Service is always good, the pool is quite small but it exists and is old but clean. No gym. Breakfast is solid. Parking Garage too.

Great location next to the train station. Super convenient. It was a delightful experience, and it being a super smart hotel (controlled everything using an IPad) also made the experience very unique. I loved it and will come again. The view (after getting the premium) was incredible too. The room may be a little small, but it’s perfect for 1-2 people.

New, new, the room interior is newly decorated, clean and tidy, much better than expected, the room also has a microwave, coffee maker, etc. I forgot to take pictures. Free parking is also available. Many hotels charge an additional parking fee ranging from 26 to 65. I took a picture outside when I left.

The staff member who checked me in was very kind and helpful — they assisted me with everything I asked for. We even had a small misunderstanding about the deposit payment, but together with the supervisor, they handled it in a way that minimized the issue for me, and I really appreciate that. Overall, the rooms were clean, and the hotel offered plenty of amenities. You can easily store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Since I was staying alone, the room size was sufficient for me.
However, I absolutely disliked the location of my room — I’d rate it only 3 out of 10. It was right next to the shared bathroom, and I could hear flushing and shower sounds all night long, so I couldn’t fall asleep at all. When I went to the reception after midnight, the staff member on duty wasn’t helpful and told me there were no other rooms available, even though I saw the same room type listed as available on ***********.
Overall, I liked the hotel itself, but I was very dissatisfied with my room’s location and barely got any sleep because of the noise.

Considering the price, this place offers great value for money in Boston. They serve warm, complimentary cookies daily, and you can easily get slippers, bottled water, and toothbrushes from the front desk if you need them.
The location is excellent, with several attractions nearby.
The JFK Museum was a highlight. We happened to visit during a Community Night and enjoyed a wonderful performance by the International String Trio (tip: they had another event scheduled for the 20th from 5:30 PM - 8 PM, so check their calendar!).
Carson Beach is worth a quick visit, but be aware that it's quite pebbly.
A Star Market is only a 7-minute walk away, where you can buy lobsters and have them steamed on the spot.
Both the airport and downtown are a relatively short taxi ride away.
Thanks to Ctrip's assistance, my overall experience was greatly enhanced.

The service here is very good. He didn't have a room that day and called me within ten miles to inquire. He was just friendly. The hotel service is great. It's also very beautiful. It's brand new and a wonderful experience. I remind you to come here in advance, otherwise there will be no room.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Westborough, Massachusetts, and I came away genuinely impressed with the entire experience. It’s not often that a hotel balances comfort, service, and convenience this well, but the DoubleTree manages to pull it off in a way that makes the stay feel both easy and enjoyable. From the moment I arrived to the moment I checked out, everything felt smooth, intentional, and welcoming. Right away, the staff made a strong impression. Check-in was quick and efficient, but also warm in a way that didn’t feel forced or scripted. The team at the front desk was attentive, friendly, and happy to answer questions. And yes, the signature warm cookie absolutely lives up to the hype. It’s a small gesture, but it sets a surprisingly positive tone, especially after a long trip. My room was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was extremely comfortable—firm enough for support but soft enough to feel restful. The linens were crisp, the pillows were perfect, and the blackout curtains actually kept the room dark in the morning. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with quality toiletries, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. I also appreciated how quiet the room was. Whether it’s the layout or the construction, I barely heard any hallway noise, which made it easy to relax and sleep well each night. One of my favorite parts of the stay was the indoor pool. A lot of hotels list “indoor pool” as an amenity, but not all of them are worth using. This one absolutely is. The pool area was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably warm. Whether someone wants to swim laps, relax after a busy day, or let kids burn off some energy, the pool is a standout feature that really enhances the stay—especially during the colder months in Massachusetts. Another major highlight was the breakfast buffet. I’ve experienced hotel breakfasts that feel like an afterthought, but the buffet at the DoubleTree Westborough was genuinely impressive. There was a wide variety of options—fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, cereals, and more. Everything tasted fresh and was replenished frequently. The staff kept the dining area clean and welcoming, and there was plenty of seating. Starting the day with a filling, high-quality breakfast right downstairs made mornings easy and relaxed. The location of the hotel is also excellent. It’s close to major highways, shopping centers, and restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Parking was plentiful and free, which I really appreciated. Whether you’re visiting for business, traveling with family, or just passing through the MetroWest area, the convenience works well for any type of trip. Overall, my stay at the DoubleTree Westborough was outstanding. The welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, great indoor pool, and excellent breakfast buffet all came together to create a stay that felt effortless and genuinely enjoyable. I’d happily return and strongly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

We spent a long weekend at this hotel. First, a free local shuttle express bus takes you from Logan Airport to Back Bay Station, which is just a four-minute walk from the hotel entrance. Check-in was smooth, friendly and efficient, and we were given our requested room. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with a fantastic view over Boston Bay. It had a spacious seating area, a large flat-screen TV, a full size in-room fridge, a spacious rain shower, and ice stations on each floor. The bed and bedding were of high quality, and there was a selection of pillows to choose from. One of the most impressive features of this hotel is the in-room security safe, which is rare in many US hotels. There are also excellent food and beverage facilities on-site, and an extensive room service menu. The housekeeping was of a high standard, and complimentary water was provided each day. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend signing up for the Marriott Bonvoy awards programme in advance of your stay. This will give you free WiFi for your entire stay. The hotel is located in downtown Boston, with easy access to Back Bay and Copley Square metros, the Boston Public Library, Prudential Centre, and many other facilities such as supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location for exploring Boston with subway and bus service a very short walk from hotel. Subway is cheap and very efficient way to get around. Hotel rooms are spacious and reception team are very welcoming and helpful. If you want to visit the theatres or Chinatown both are only a few minutes walk. Like any hotel there are downsides.... The includes breakfast option is not correct, you get an allowance towards breakfast which does not cover the cost, also breakfast service can be very good or very bad over the 8 days we stayed we experienced both. Evening meals are OK but you can get much better a few minutes walk away. Whilst the hotel is generally well sound insulated for an old building which has been sympathetically converted to an hotel it does not help on a Saturday night, The local nightclub is extremely popular with long queue's down the street, the ones who cannot get in seem to have a weekly rave on the adjoining multi storey car park until around 3am. The noise is incredible and despite this being a weekly occurrence the hotels complaints seem to be ignored by the local authorities. My advice is to either be prepared and accept the inconvenience or avoid staying on a Saturday Night, the same applies to all the other hotels in the immediate vicinity, especially the one with the Candibar nightclub in its basement! Overall a good hotel which could be even be great if the onsite restaurant was improved, the ”includes breakfast” listing was correctly worded, and the local authorities took action about the unsociable noise. Final word of praise for the super reception staff who really go the extra mile to help you enjoy your stay.

Pros: New Yorker first time driving to Boston, so i need a hotel that provide parking. This hotel provide free and pretty safe parking in their basement which is excellent for interstate driving travelers. Beside free parking, this hotel also great for sightseeing Boston via public transportation. There is a bus stop right across the street. Bus 77 will go straight to the Red Line Harvard Station. You can transfer to Red Line and go straight to the city. Or you can transfer to Bus 1, which will take you to nearby Boston University and Newbury St. From Newbury St stop, you can transfer to the Green Line at Hynes Convention Center Station. There are a lot of attractions right on the Green Line for you to explore. When you are done with your travel, u can take Red Line or Bus 1 back to Harvard Station, then transfer 77 and it will take you back right next to the hotel. This hotel also provide free breakfast in my booking. The breakfast is nice but will be better if it can last to 10am during the weekdays. (6-9weekdays, 7-10 weekends) The room is not bad, pretty big with table, kitchen, refrigerator, sofa, two tvs and a bed. The room I have is pretty clean and I do not have much to complain. The hotel staffs are nice too. Cons: The mattress is not too hard or soft and is comfortable for me. However, it is little too noisy when you try to move or turn. The bathtub is slippery when you step in it, especially where there’s water in it. I have to grab the pole tight every time. The hotel need to address this issue for safety.

Oh, the elevators at this hotel! They're not just elevators; they're portals to a world of unexpected contemplation and wonder. Imagine this: you press the elevator call button, fully expecting a quick trip to your floor, and instead, you're whisked away on a journey that will make you question the very fabric of reality. First, let's address the elephant in the room—or rather, the elephant in the elevator shaft. On any given day, at least one of the three elevators is on a ”maintenance sabbatical,” leaving you to press a button and pray. It's like playing a game of elevator roulette, but with higher stakes and more existential dread. Now, let's talk about the wait time. It's a marathon in itself. You find yourself standing in the lobby, watching as the elevator numbers climb with agonizing slowness, wondering if you'll ever reach your floor. During these moments, you have time to contemplate the meaning of life, the purpose of existence, and why you ever thought a quick trip to the hotel bar would be a good idea. During my stay, I found myself in the elevator lobby for what felt like an eternity. I started to question whether time itself was a construct, or if it was just the elevator's way of giving me a much-needed break from the chaos of life. I even started a small book club with the other guests who were also stranded in the lobby. We exchanged life stories, laughed at the situation, and formed lifelong friendships

I got two nights stay at the hotel. My experience was fantastic from check in to check out. I arrived a little before lunch as I was transferring from Westin right next door so I wasn’t sure if I had to wait until 4pm for checkin. The front desk staff took me in pleasantly without a fuzz, very thankful for that especially when I’m on a tight travel plan. The room was very spacious and clean plenty of clean bathroom supplies, shower was awesome with just the right water pressure. The only thing I would suggest is to just leave the complementary bottle water in room (especially during the summer season) as opposed to having to pick up at front desk (which I wasn’t aware until my friend told me who was also staying at the same hotel). However the room does have two bottles of water but they are priced. I did notice that the internet is not free if you are not a Marriott member (not sure if it’s a norm now days but I think Westin was free for hotel guest and both are under the same hotel Group, but it stood out in my experience with the Hotels as I just completed two weeks of travel right before the stay), so at Checkout I asked to ensure my member number is associated with my stay and the gentleman at the front desk kindly confirmed that the internet charge will be removed on final billing. That was a peace of mind for me. Very thankful again. Overall a comfortable stay and will revisit!

The place is really nice, it was decorated all around and had greats lighting and sceneries. The rooms are also really cozy and have a lot of stuff like a small fridge, hair dryer, cabinets, you can customize the lights in the shower and the blinds with an IPad and the tv facing the bed is really nice. Furthermore it’s pretty quiet there. Awesome place, really worth it for the price
