We stayed here in a private room for 4 nights and this was probably the best decision in the entire trip. The rooms were super comfortable and clean and the staffs were super helpful. We needed a printout of a document for our trek and the zostel printer was not working. Shabbir bhai sent someone to get it printed from a nearby shop and refused to take the charges from us. The amazing hospitality we received from this zostel was truly the highlight of our trip. Being an unmarried couple it was a tricky for us to find a couple-friendly accommodation in Srinagar during our travel days, but we were glad that zostel came to our rescue. The best part was we easily found travel buddies and shared cabs to Gulmarg and ********. This not only helped us to meet likeminded people but also helped us to share the cab costs for the day-trips. I always had the belief that Kashmir was more of a honeymoon or family destination but it is not. Lots of bachelor crowds do visit Kashmir and Zostel is the ideal place to meet them. Stories were shared and new places were added to the bucketlist during our interaction with other travellers. If you are travelling solo, or in a group, or are just a couple like us, I highly recommend you to try out Zostel.

Manager was courteous enough to upgrade our room to premium category. Also added free breakfast to our booking. Rooms are in good condition. Dal lake is about 2 kms away which you can walk if you are not with family since its like walking at highway no footpath available.

Honestly i was little disappointed when i reached the hotel. The images uploaded and google give you a very different view. The entrance to the hotel itself is just ok. Even the rooms when you compare with images are not the same. Having said all this overall the services provided are pretty good for the price you pay. The food is good and very affordable although options are limited. Housekeeping service is i would say very good. The staff is cooperative and polite. Location is a bit off so it's not that near to any restaurant or dal lake. But for the most part tourists book taxi for the whole stay so not a big issue

Wow. Wow. Wow. This resort is still memorable. Even though this resort is quite far from city. The stay here is still memorable,Had stayed for 3 days and all I can say about the place is just amazing. Has a playing place maybe a table tennis board where I enjoyed a lot playing TT, carpet used in resort is very attractive and high quality and standard of carpet,The rooms are really excellent. The quality of service, room service, food, behavior and everything is amazing. Makes us feel like we are at home. Had been through Cox's and Kings and definitely they gave a good 3star but it's worth a 5 star rating. If you goin. You can definitely stay here. Well recommended
