E' Hotel

Great hotel located in a strategic location at the beginning of the longshore and near the city centre and the museum (where you can see the famous Bronze of Riace). Breakfast is absolutely to be improved for quality and quantity of products and for too tight hours (up to 9.30 from Monday to Saturday and Sunday to 10). ****new of the reception was a great suggestion for things to do in the city and surroundings.
Villa Lavinia

We were in Villa Lavinia to visit Reggio Calabria after we went the English path with a couple of friends. Great welcome from Chiara, discrete and always smiled person, who has given us very good advice to meet our needs (cultural, gastronomic etc ...). The villa is very nice, elegant and stylish shabby, all furnished with the owner's idea and work. You breathe a familiar and relaxing air ...If we'll return to Reggio we'll not miss staying yet. Thanks Clar!
Grand Hotel Excelsior

The hotel all in all was great. The staff were kind and accommodating. The room I booked(423) was a junior suite. But it had this funny smell when coming into the room. But it was nice and spacious and had a really expansive bathroom. We switched to the room opposite (401) and it had a great sea view. Especially love the curtains surrounding the bedroom area! And the blackout curtains were great if you want to sleep in. The bathroom in this room was not as large as the previous room but it was charming. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. But if you want hot food you need to pay extra. The air conditioning was not up to par with what I expected. It only goes down up to 22.5 and for me that’s still warm to have a cozy night’s dream. But that’s just me. It’s near the high street and the famous gelato shop! They do have siestas so most of the shops are closed from 3-7 pm. Try the ADDUMA restaurant near the hotel. It’s fantastic! The hotel’s restaurant looks fabulous during the night. And you can go out to the terrace and enjoy the wonderful sea view with night lights lovingly encompassing the Lungomare Falcomata.
B&B Centrale Affittacamere

Pulizia eccellente. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e a casa! Speriamo di tornare presto!
Hotel Lungomare

We were nervous to book here based on the mix reviews. Especially this being the only 3 star hotel we booked throughout our trip however, it had the most comfiest bed out of all our stays in Italy. The only downfall to the excellent location is the parking as it is difficult to find at busy times. However, the payable option is almost always available on the blue line side. Breakfast was okay not a whole ton of options. Everything was clean to standard except for the shower… we wore sandals due to the black mold in the corners of the shower. Not to make excuses, but I find this common in a lot of Italy’s hotels as you need to take into consideration of how old most of these places are. Overall, it was a pretty good stay since most of the time you are out and about exploring.

Abbiamo trascorso cinque notti in questo albergo e ci ritornerei.
