B&B Hotel Treviso

The staff was lovely, the room was well furnished, and the placement of the lamps was super stylish. However, there was a dominating sour smell in the room and it did not leave even after opening the window for hours. Maybe it is the smell of a cleaning product, not sure, but it was very potent and bad when I entered the room. Also the shower head is way too big for the wall-mounted holder and the showerhead falls out from it. You can not stand under the shower but have to hold it all the time. Otherwise everything was great. I appreciated the blackour curtains and the nice breakfast options.

Very convenient, if you want to go to Venice, you can live here, 100 meters away is the train station, to Venice Central Station for half an hour! ! The surrounding area is also very characteristic old city, the old city is surrounded by water! Tyramisu came from here first, the food is very delicious

We were travelling around Italy and chose Treviso to meet up with friends. Having just left a beautiful hotel in Verona and this hotel was rated higher than our last location, we were looking forward to the next stage of our trip. Great location and close to the station, but then we entered. The reception area wasn’t tired, it was exhausted. Leather furniture was split and peeling. Material furniture was sagging and uncomfortable, but the worst was yet to come - we were given the keys to our room. Opening the door, smell of alcohol immediately hit you and turning on the light turned to shock. The room hadn’t been decorated since the 1980s. Linens threadbare, tears in the headboard and awful mould. We immediately went back to reception. Then given keys to a room on the first floor and whilst the headboard was intact, I didn’t see mould, it was still simply awful. I’ve seen better ramshackle B&Bs in the UK!! The corridor to the room was being replastered - but the entire hotel needed more - much more!! We immediately cancelled our booking and chose a hotel further out of the town centre. This is not for the faint-hearted!
Hotel Maggior Consiglio

I cannot recommend this hotel at all. They do not take their customers seriously and they are happy to sell a product they do not have. Explanation: We had booked the hotel for a single day. We booked it because they advertised their SPA / Pool area which looked great, but when we arrived in the afternoon the whole area was closed down, big disappoin**ent when you have been driving for a long time and just needed to relax. There was a sign at the check-in counter that the pool will be closed on the 6/8, but we arrived the day before and it was closed. Nothing was written in the confirmation mail from them. If so we would have canelled and found another hotel. In addition to this huge minus which they will not refund, there were other problems with the hotel: • Could not get hot water for the bathtub, so we could not enjoy that either. • An air conditioner that can only go down to 22 degrees, is not comfortable when you have to sleep. • On the other hand, it was so cold in their restaurant in the morning that you froze while sitting there. • The breakfast was terrible. Day-old bread, half-rotten fruit, bacon that was either not fried or it was burnt. • For lunch we could only choose one dish from their menu which otherwise looked delicious - on paper. Normally I do not write bad reviews, but the hotel has been contacted several times and will not give any form of compensation nor do the take any responsibility at all, therefore I have chosen to describe my experience. I also met 2 others at the hotel the day we were there and they had the same experience.
Hotel Al Giardino

Not the first visit to this hotel, but the first visit since the change of ownership, still a great experience and a great base for exploring the Veneto region (Venice and Verona this time), very friendly staff and helpful. The new reception area give the front facade a corporate look and feel but the hotel still maintains its family welcoming atmosphere All in all a great stay
