White Flower Lanta

Ha Wei takes the elderly and children and usually cooks breakfast by himself, so this one has a kitchen specially selected. The hotel owner is very considerate, and puts drinks and bread in the refrigerator, all for free. Seeing that we took the kids and brought us two large inflatable swimming laps. One day it rained all day, and I really didn’t want to eat outside. The lady boss even drove us to the market. We were all embarrassed that day, it was raining and we went to several places to buy it. The hotel here helps to rent motorcycles and cars at a discount. The environment here is very good, about 5 minutes walk to the beach, 7-11 is also close. The only point is that there is a small slope when entering the hotel from the road. If you have limited mobility, you should consider this. The elderly in my family are in good health, even if they are more than 80 years old, no problem. Also, we stayed for the first night. I didn’t know it was raining at night. We all slept soundly. The hotel staff also helped to collect the clothes. I was so touched😹. Write so many comments for the first time!
Lanta Emerald Bungalow

Arrived at hotel 13.30 to be shown a bungalow overlooking the hotel car park I booked a beach front bungalow when queried with owner he became rather annoyed and suggested we found other accommodation and he would refund in full Being 2 pensioners and no wifi at that time to book other accommodation and also being in a strange country we Reluctantly took room number 3 Bed was broken and taped up with black masking tape toilet was stained badly and then attempted to make a hot drink to only find the cable from kettle did not reach plug socket on wall, after asking the owner he brought an extension lead over to enable us to put kettle on. Managed to get wifi and booked another hotel within 30 minutes of us being in the room. Only thing used in room was the kettle to make a hot drink using my own teabags and cups for a whole 30minutes I Informed owner we were leaving and after his previous suggestion of us finding alternative accommodation and giving us a full refund we left. One hour later email received from owner stating he was charging me for one nights stay as we had used the room for a whole 30 minutes. Absolutely flabbergasted 😮. I have never posted on here before but please be aware there are NO beach front properties at this hotel the owner is not a very genuine person after suggesting we find other hotel and giving us a refund he has now not kept his promise, people like him should not be able to advertise a room that does not fit the description also cheap dirty plastic chairs on a tiny area outside room one could hardly call a balcony /patio and overlook a car park certainly not a beach front bungalow as advertised I also found him to be rather arrogant not friendly and he obviously did not like being told he had advertised his accommodation incorrectly I also got the impression he did not take to a female telling him some home truths about his accommodation . After reading previous reviews about behaviour towards guests I highly recommend notto stay here The room was very basic and only 2 electrical sockets in room the bed was broken stained toilet too please see the pictures
The Narima Lanta Island
4.5/514 Reviews
This is a resort that has a soul! We stayed at the Narima during the pandemics. It was almost empty, but this was a great experience. We were looking for a calm place with a ”hidden” beach. The service and the food was excellent, the staff very friendly and the owners came by our table for a chat. We had a rare ”hidden paradice” feeling during our week-long stay. Narima is close to the road, but you do not notice it. The vegetation is varied which gives good shade throughout the day. The pool stays cool thanks to the spring water supply. The nicely terrased lay-out of the resort gives many different views and possibilities to hang out. . The beach is natural with sand and rocks and enjoyable even during ebb. For the kids there are lots of nice rocks, shells and crabs to collect! When you feel lazy, you may just spend time in the hammock on the balcony of your bungalow. Thanks for a great stay! KeereeLay
4.5/55 Reviews
We have not met kinder people than the Keereelay husband and wife team. Super friendly and helpful. Morning Thai breakfast was tastefully prepared and a great way to fuel the day. It was nice to stay at a place removed a bit from the bustle of town and the 200 baht daily rental of a moped which they offer puts the whole island within easy reach. We also enjoyed morning walks along nearby quiet roads and he took us for a small tour of his adjoining farm to share info about rubber production, his love of birds, etc. Room was spacious and very comfortable. We were even pampered with honey and lime to make tea to help get over our colds. They were also great in arranging discounted snorkeling trips and a trip to the airport. Highly recommended!
Hub of Joys Hostel
4.4/515 Reviews
We spend 5 nights here, and if we wouldn’t have to move on, we would easily add some other nights. By far the best hostel I experienced in Thailand. To start with the rooms. The beds are comfortable and big, there is much space to store you stuff and there is a huge guarantee for privacy. Moreover the rooms are clean and quiet. The sanitaries offer much space, they are very modern and clean. There are many soaps, shampoos etc. for free! The staff is so friendly and helped us with every request, like bookings, scooters, tips for the island etc. They offer free breakfast, which is a very good breakfast with scrambled/fried eggs, fresh fruits, toast, coffee, juice and tea. Never been to a hostel where they offer such a good breakfast. Moreover this place makes it very easy to socialise and meet new people in the lobby. It’s located direct to the beach and by just a little walk or scooters you can go everywhere. Everybody coming to Ko Lanta and looking for a place, come to Hub of Joys. I promise you won’t regret it.
My Home Lantawadee Resort
4.3/510 Reviews
Had a great stay here. Very close to the beach, laundry services and restaurants, so everything you need. Bungalows are spacious and the buffet breakfast is a plus. Most importantly, the service was excellent - staff went out of their way to help us extens our stay, make bookings, and return lost property that we left in the room. We extended our stay twice since we liked it so much.
