Overall it was only ok. The blinds have missing parts everywhere. Due to that we changed our assigned room, you could have seen us sleeping from outside. The windows are kind of sealed so that you can’t open them. This was a huge problem in the bathroom because of the missing exhaust. The beds are great and you have a lot of space in the room. The cookware should be changed, the pot and pan have massively scratches and are of poor quality. There is no in-room housekeeping. You can go to the office and get new towels or toiletries but no in-room housekeeping during our stay of three nights. I don’t need new towels every day but after beach days the room needs a cleaning. They call themselves a hotel, so a basic cleaning service should be done. Additional 10$ for parking each day.

We are on holiday in Pompano beach but needed a lateral flow test (antigen test) to board a cruise as we didn’t have a car we couldn’t attend a drive throu test centre shopped around hard to find test centre and when we did most were around 100 dollars as there are 5 of us this was not an option we wanted to take I then found a company called pomcmed.com located at 2440 W State Rd 84 Fort Lauderdale 33312 . I booked the tests online and they didn’t ask for payment until we got there . We arrived at address the test station is in a metal container, the lady was so helpful tests done very quickly and for extra 50 cents the lady printed out and also emailed results to us Would highly recommend

The pool area was rich with greenery and, although close to route I95, was relatively quiet. It was super clean. Staff was accommodating. Room was serviced every other day. Breakfast food varied- but did not include make your own waffles. Entire hotel was clean

I'm sure you've already read some of the other horrific reviews of this place, but really - none of them are exaggerating! Yes, the staff is lovely, but the hotel is an overpriced dump! The photos on their website area bait-and-switch. Upon arrival, you enter a hallway that's obviously under renovation. The staff immediately tells you they've been having trouble renovating because materials are hard to get due to Covid... ok, but that's not responsible for all the things that went wrong... well here it goes... Everything is shabby or broken. The floor tiles in the hallways and rooms are cracked. The bathtub is chipped. The carpets are stained. The window locks are broken. The balcony is floor is chipped and the balcony chairs are rusty. Bathroom fixtures are missing. Electrical outlets are chipped. Paint is peeling everywhere. I could go on, but you can also look at some of my photos. I'm not kidding, the very tiny TV is plugged into a power strip that's nailed to the middle of the wall - who does that? For some reason, the sink is in a room with a rusted out microwave, fridge, and safe where only 2 of the buttons work. The toilet and bathtub is in a separate room that is so small. you have to stand between the toilet and the tub or remain sitting on the toilet to open the door. The sheets and ”blanket” are super thin. The towels are small and thin (see the picture of the folded beach towel on a chair... that is ridiculous). The shower curtain is so worn out, it doesn't prevent water from flooding the bathroom every time you take a shower. There were no cups in the room, plastic or otherwise and the ”products” were about the quality you'd find in a cheap motel. And here's my favorite part... I went to flush the toilet and it didn't work. I figured, Ok, I'll call the front desk, only to realize that it wasn't the toilet that was broken, we had no water in our room at all. I called the front desk and they had no idea why this was happening, so I went to the pool. When picking up my impossibly thin pool towels, I was informed that ”Yeah, we had a leak so we had to cut the water.” There was no phone call or notice, they just cut off all water without telling their guests. There was no offer to compensate us until the next day when I complained enough to have some of the bill discounted. This place is not cheap either (about $300/night). I'm no snob, but I'd expect more than an Econo Lodge experience from a place that costs this much.

I highly recommend this hotel for your tempory home while you enjoy paradise! They accepts all forms of payment. They greet you, help you and offer affordable rooms with decent size gated grounds one alley cross to the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. This location is perfect as it is near a Walgreens, Brinyies world famous Irish dive bar (live music and food), other great restaurants, a pier and all is within walking distance so you dont need a car. I recommend uber not taxi from airport they charg DOUBLE so call uber. Uber eats delivered us several times plenty of food choices including McDonalds. If you are on a budget I reommend Uber eats or splitting your meals. Most give you double the amount of food. I cant say enough about the staff there. Amanda and Gene were exceptional. The maids can be trusted. Iguanas pop out to sun themselves here. Dont be afraid of them. They are a protected species.

Been here every February for a week over the last four years. Always had been a nice quiet place to enjoy a break with family, peaceful and restful. I will say the food and food service has really improved. However, the beach service has really changed. I am an early riser and head for morning beach and to set up for the day. New rule is that umbrellas are no longer included and are rented for $25 a day. Ok, I have skin cancer so I will pay. So when chairs we set up I tipped $30 for the beach attendant to help me chairs and asked for him to remember me when it was time for umbrellas. But I couldn’t get an umbrella and ended up having to chase him around the beach while he was in his ATV to plead to lay for one, ok.- said nothing but thank you. Then they brought out jet skis and placed them right in front of my chairs and the beach view. So I asked to move (I mean I didn’t fly to FL for a week for a view and gas’s smell coming off those jet skis). and got a lot of attitude. So $30 of tips and $25 umbrella. This is my view….(see pic). So later decide to go to pool cause disappointed with beach view ….and there are plates of food lying all over the pool deck, tables, chairs. Not to mention flies etc. we were there for three hours and no one cleared anything.
