Hoi An Hao Anh Villa
4.5/54 Reviews
We stayed at Hao Anh Villa for 3 nights and it was a very nice and smooth stay. - Staff: very nice and helpful people that can speak good english; - Room: Very good! Clean (they clean it everyday), spacious and comfortable. The only con were the mosquitos. We found a lot of them in the first day (probably because they left the door open during the cleaning period), but after that it was ok. - Amenities: The pool is nice and clean as well as the surrounding area, with some deck chairs and tables. You can also find power outlet nearby the pool which is very helpful if you want to work from there. - Location: Good! Close to Hoi A city center (25 min walking or 10 min. by bike - the hotel lend them for free). Close to a lot of local restaurants, mini markets and stores. If you want to avoid the crowd from city center and still be close to it, it is a good choice. - Breakfast: ok, nothing special. Basically 2 eggs, 1 slice of bread and a drink (you can also choose noodles), but good enough to wait until lunch time. - Internet: great even inside the room. Perfect for working. You will notice that you’re in a guesthouse because probably the staff will make too many questions or maybe they will enter your room without knocking (it happened multiple times). If you’re ok with that (we felt it kind of funny), we totally recommend it and for sure you will enjoy your stay.
Mango Garden Hoi An Homestay

One of the highlights of our travels in Vietnam was staying here. Hoang was incredibly welcoming, kind and generous! He also had a sense of humour which was brilliant. His family is lovely, as is his guesthouse. The room had everything you needed, and we were very pleased. Shortish walk to town centre and they even offer free bikes to customers to use. Hoang was really lovely and very attentive and really tried hard to make sure we had a relaxing stay. He recommended us to his sisters tailor (Remys) which was great fun and also a great tailors! 100% would recommend staying here.
Vinci Villa

Hoi An Ancient Town
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vinci Villa Hoi An, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff at Vinci Villa went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, even going out of their way to remember my name throughout my stay. This personalized touch made me feel like a valued guest, and it truly enhanced my overall experience. The room I stayed in was awesome. I opted to have breakfast in the old town most days, however I noticed a number of guests enjoying breakfast at the hotel. One of the standout features of Vinci Villa is its magical location. It’s situated within walking distance of Hoi An’s Old Town. The old town is surrounded by enchanting streets, ancient buildings, and a vibrant atmosphere. The convenience of being within walking distance to many of the city's attractions and popular landmarks allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture and experience the charm of Hoi An. I would definitely go back if I was ever in Hoi An again! Be aware that Grab can’t come into the lane, so you’ll need to order your car from the main road.
NGO Khanh Homestay

Miss Ten Homestay
4.4/538 Reviews
Based on the Tripadvisor excellent reviews , I chose to stay with Miss Ten . Hoi Ann was my first stop for Central Vietnam so I was hoping to have a good start by staying here . Unfortunately, my first impressions were far from pleasant. I reread the reviews and thought I might have booked the wrong place but judging from the photos , it was clear that there was no mistake- this was the same Miss Ten Homestay which everyone was raving about. I had arrived a day later than anticipated due to a flight change but nevertheless I paid for the first night . I immediately informed Miss Ten of the flight change and she responded by stating that the room was cleaned and ready for my arrival. I arrived at mid-morning the next day and was promptly ushered to my ” deluxe” room on the top floor with a balcony. The room was bright and airy with the curtains aside and it was in a relatively quiet street. I went to the bathroom and , to my annoyance, a light was not working ; it was dimly lit with only 1 light . I informed Miss Ten of this and she said her husband was not around and I should be alright with one light. I was tired so I did not want to make a big deal out of it. However, this was a foreboding of what was to come......... As I was reaching out for the soap to wash my hands , to my horror, 2 pieces of used soap were sitting in a horrendous filthy soap dish. I proceeded to rinse my hands without the soap. I then decided to lay down for a while as I was tired and went to draw the curtains. After a short nap, I woke up to turn on the lights in the room. To my annoyance, only 1 light was working in the whole room -all the other 5 bulbs were blown or not working at all! I quickly went down and tried to tell Miss Ten about the soaps and the lights . She came upstairs with me and was very defensive , as if I was being difficult and said most people would not mind used soaps, implying I should not mind as well. In any event, she reluctantly brought in 2 bars of soap and in a hostile manner, removed the filthy soap dish and angrily tore the paper covering of a new bar of mini soap and threw it by the side of the sink. Because of her behaviour , I then mentioned that I booked her place due to the Tripadvisor reviews and I felt disappointed. She left the room in a huff. An hour later, I came down the stairs to venture out to town and she was seated at one of her dining tables. She said she thought about my complaints and apologised for her behaviour. Fortunately, our stay for the next 3 days were uneventful . However, Miss Ten made a point to inform me that she will clean my room every day and had cleaned the bathroom for me when I returned from town. Pros for this homestay :- (1) It is situated in a quiet street away from the bustle but very walkable to the old town and night market so its location was excellent . (2) Shower pressure was reasonably strong. (3) The room itself with a balcony with the windows open is bright and airy.
Fireworks Homestay

The owner was so accommodating and very kind. It feels like you are away from home but at the same time you are home in their homestay. They even prepared us banana pancakes and Vietnamese coffee. And her daughter was always on the rescue whenever we have an inquiry. They clean your room everyday and it was near Hoi An old town snd night market. We definitely recommend this place! Two thumbs up!
Hoi An NGO Homestay
4.7/516 Reviews
I booked a double room with shared bathroom. However, when I informed them that the ceiling was leaking, they kindly explained what had happened and let me move to another room. Everything was solved effortlessly and they continued to check for me whether everything was properly prepared. Breakfast is served daily and their Cau Lau is very tasty and delicious. Probably one of the best I have tasted in Hoi An so far. The location is also very good. It is located behind the old town, which makes it easy for guests in the early morning to reach the ancient city before the tour group. Thank you very much for the good time of the NGO's hosting in Hoi An.
Pebble Homestay
4.7/517 Reviews
We cannot recommend Pebble Homestay highly enough! This was a quiet, very clean, comfortable stay a very short and convenient walking distance to the town center. Excellent service, the family that owns this homestay is so kind and helpful and will arrange different tours for you. They also make a delicious breakfast for you with a small extra cost. The family always greeted us with smiles and went out of their way to make it a great experience. This was one of our favorite stays in Vietnam because of the hospitality. The room is basic but very clean and comfortable. Thank you Pebble Homestay!
Hoi An Smart Garden Villa
4.2/513 Reviews
We spent there three nights. Something unusual was that our room neighbors could reach their room only through our balcony. Unfortunately, the rooms are very bright when guests sit on their balconies around to talk noisy. Also road transport is not to hear in the morning. The room is clean every day and is very clean. Our wash washed for 1-2$ per kilo. Mopeds and bikes are offered for rent. We had breakfast outside the homestays. Nice rental and fairly cheap drinks from the fridge of the minibar. The snacks cost all extra. That was all okay.
The Moon River Homestay & Villa
4.7/522 Reviews
Tri and Moon are the most welcoming, helpful and friendly people. Their homestay is beautiful and it had everything you need. I stayed here as part of my solo backpacking trip. Myself and my travelling friend from Germany met them on a bus on the way from Cambodia to Vietnam. They immediately went out of their way to help us with any confusion about the border crossing. We fell in love with them and their kindness, so we then booked to stay with them a few weeks later when we were in Hoi An. Tri was very helpful as he picked us up from the bus station when we arrived in the morning and provided us with breakfast. The location of the home is ideal - it’s located in a beautiful organic vegetable village and it feels so peaceful and homely which gives you a real feel for the local vibe. And the use of their pedal bikes was great, we would cycle to the beach in 5 minutes in one direction and then also only 10 minutes to the city centre in the other direction to see the lanterns on the river and go to all the bustling tourist areas of Hoi An. The room was so clean, just like a hotel, it was perfectly functioning, we felt very safe and it had a gorgeous view of the shrimp farm and of the river! And after of staying in hostels for my whole trip until now, it was the best sleep I had had in two months!! They also kindly took us to the best local place for breakfast where we had coffee and Banh Mi which was delicious. Moon then showed us to the best local tailor in the area and also to the second hand clothes shops in the area, this was so lovely of her and we really appreciated it. They really are such wonderful human beings and I am so glad that our paths crossed. Please stay here if you ever get the chance. It’s fabulous value and I promise you will enjoy it just as much as we did.
