Be Live Adults Only Tenerife

We booked this place as a last minute cheap holiday, and it was fine to use as a base. There’s a 20 minute walk to the town centre, which was quite pleasant with some beautiful buildings to see. It’s also just round the corner from an amazing steak restaurant called Brunelli’s. There’s a gorgeous view right outside the hotel of mount Tiedi, and our partial sea view from room 1204 was definitely more than partial, which we were really happy with. The rooms were also kept nice and clean. Now for the rest… The air con stinks of drains, as does the bathroom sink whenever it’s ran. The bath emptied itself as I bathed and had to sit with the tap running to enjoy any depth at all. The hotel looks like it hasn’t been decorated since the 90’s it’s unloved, scuffed and dark, as the corridor lights don’t turn on until you’re half way down. Picture your local social club and make it a hotel, that’s the vibe for the decor and the entertainment. The hotel bar is only open for a few hours on a night, and the pool bar doesn’t allow you to have drinks by the side of the pool. The pool is so slippery it could be an ice rink, there is no grip on the tiles at all and the lifeguard has a real power problem. He didn’t like umbrellas being moved to provide shade, and he even told an elderly woman off for slipping over by the pool because SHE didn’t have flip flops on! The pool bar drinks are overly sugary premixed cocktails in cardboard cups or flat lager, and the pool snacks are left overs from breakfast. The loos round the pool also stink of urine. No refreshments in the room at all, not even a bottle of water other than on the first day. The beach is closed due to sewage which you can often smell. The buffet is completely inedible, either burnt and dry, total watery slop or the cheapest of cheap meat. We ate out for every meal after the first, despite having all inclusive. If you just need somewhere to rest your head this place is fine, treat it like a travel lodge. If the hotel adds any value to your holiday, try somewhere else.
Hotel Botanico y Oriental Spa Garden

Very successful stay at the hotel. Rooms very comfortable Service at the highest level Breakfast the best we have eaten so far in hotels, everything fresh, very good quality and beautifully served. Lunch in the hotel restaurant also good. Spa beautiful, massage good - although it lasted shorter than the purchased package, hairdresser also good. Subtracts a star for the bill at the end. I wasn't going to check, but I was thrown by an extra massage service in the spa that I didn't have. I do not know if it was done on purpose to pay more, but in a hotel like this it should not happen, especially since the signed bills did not include such a massage. Additional time unnecessarily spent at the reception. Distaste remains.
H10 Tenerife Playa
4/542 Reviews
The hotel H10 Tenerife Playa, is located in a great area, close to amenities. We stayed on the ground floor in a family room, consisting of 2 twin beds a single bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom had 2 sinks and the room had a fridge (unstocked). The safe was in the wardrobe, which was not fit for purpose. Its too narrow, I could not put my laptop inside it (please hotel manager CHANGE THE SAFES). The hotel buffet restaurant was fine for breakfast and dinner (did not go inside for lunch). They do not serve English Sausages, or English Bacon, unlike the Lanzarote Princess H10 hotel. Or waffles for that matter. Dinner was OK, always something to eat and was plentiful. The pool bar serves a la carte food and is served to your table. This area is undercover or outside area too. There is 2 pools (1 heated, sometimes warmer at times than other days). There is also a kids paddling pool, this was sometimes heated and other times not. There is a pool and table tennis table and darts board outside, which is good for you to use. Lots of organised activities of games during the day with the programme you can read close to the bar area. Sunbeds are plentiful, DO NOT put your towel down, before 8:50am otherwise it will be removed by the towel brigade. Happened to us once and we learnt very quickly!!!!!! If you are on Priviledge board then there are certain sunbeds they keep aside for these guests. (Bit of a joke really) and they are allowed these black/grey towels down or towel brigade put them down to stop anyone else using them. (Bloody Joke). Smoking, is a nightmare there, people smoking in the pool area, people can smoke outside in the outside pool bar, people smoking in permitted outside bar areas. Everywhere you go, smoke, smoke and bloody smoke. I write this outside the pool area, and SMOKE. I shallow breathe all day when its bugging me. GO AWAY AND SNOKE AWAY FROM OTHERS ITS NOT NICE. Please ban smoking in the hotel and put them in a corner where no one goes!!!!! The weather appears to be cloudy most mornings and does bubble up most afternoons. (Stick to the south of the island if you want Sun ALL DAY). I liked the hotel, but would not return due to smoking policy of hotel and weather of the north part.
Sol Costa Atlantis
4.1/543 Reviews
My husband and I visited the Sol Costa Atlantis Hotel for a week in April 2024. We were very much looking forward to our stay at this particular hotel as having viewed it online, we thought it looked rather nice. Our arrival at the hotel was quite late due to having experienced a flight delay therefore, we were feeling quite tired, however, we found that the reception staff were not very welcoming or friendly, they just went through the process of getting us checked in, there was no ‘Welcome to our hotel, have you stayed with us before’, nothing of that nature, no welcome drink was offered. Once checked in, we went to our room which considering it was a 4* hotel, we were surprised at how basic the room was. We unpacked and tried to open the Safe to store our valuables. We were unable to open it so being tired, we decided to deal with everything the following morning. We were booked on a half board basis so, we got up the next morning to go for breakfast and both said how incredibly warm the room was and, because of the room temperature neither of us had slept well. We checked the air conditioning but were unable to deal with whatever the issue was. We then went for breakfast which, unfortunately, wasn’t great. We absolutely appreciate that with buffet food, due to it sitting, it can get cold quickly but, having said that, there were a lot of people staying at the hotel if the dining room was anything to go by which meant that the turnover of food from the buffet was quick so, I wouldn’t have expected the food to be as as cold as it was. Also, the toasters which were in the dining room, there just wasn’t enough of them and then, to make matters worse, when you put a slice of bread through the toaster you had to repeat the process 2 to 3 times as the bread wasn’t toasting!! Then we had the coffee machines of which you had to queue for a considerable length of time to get a coffee as again, for the amount of people, there weren’t enough coffee machines. After breakfast we went to reception to report the air conditioning issue. The chap with whom we spoke said he would get a maintenance person to fix whatever the issue was. We informed him we were out for the day so the technician could go into our room at any stage. We also asked about the Safe in our room to which the chap on reception advised that we would have to pay to use the safe. I was appalled to hear this saying to him ‘That’s daft, surely if there’s a safe in the room, it forms part of the room, it’s a bit like saying, there’s a wardrobe but you can’t hang your clothes in it until you pay to use it’. My view is if you’ve paid for a room, then you should have access to everything in that room especially the safe as it doesn’t cost the hotel any extra to allow guests access to the safe in their room!! After our day out, we came back to our room only to find that the air conditioning hadn’t been fixed much to our disappoin**ent and to make matters worse, when we reported it
Catalonia Las Vegas - Adults Only
4/543 Reviews
We have stayed previously at the Catalonia Las Vegas but we haven’t been for several years now but even after 6 years it is still the same and still has the same wonderful charm that it always has done. When we arrived we were given an upgraded room which gave us a large balcony with sunbeds and a gorgeous view of Teide, so me and my partner spent a lot of time soaking up the sun whilst on the balcony. The room was clean and tidy, with a large tv and plenty of space including a mini fridge and a large spacious bed. We found the food great and the service we received was also excellent. I would like to give a special mention to Jacqueline who works behind the bar, she works incredibly hard and is always polite. The reception staff are also very friendly, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman when we arrived (we are unsure of his name but he has long hair) and we were served by a very friendly and polite gentleman named Oscar when we checked out. The reception team were great at handling any questions we had. Now on to entertainment, we found the hotel had a great variety of shows and singers of an evening accompanied by free bingo which was very fun. It filled a nice few hours for us and we enjoyed all of the entertainment that was on offer. We did a few of the activities during the day that are on offer and we did the activities with Maria who was very friendly and helpful and made sure everyone was enjoying the activities. We also thought the pool area was nice, it was nice and clean and the pool is nice and large which gives plenty of room to swim. We also think that the hotel is in a perfect location as it is so close to the sea and is right at the heart of many restaurants and shops. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the Catalonia Las Vegas and we will be returning. Thank you to everyone who made our stay pleasant.
Parque San Antonio
3.7/542 Reviews
Me and my partner stayed at San Antonio for 10 nights bed and breakfast. Breakfast available till 10am and have lots of options, break is lovely. Pool side bar have snack menu available 11am-5pm daily bare in mind this doesn’t have many options. Rooms are basic and do not look like the pictures advertised, the walls are paper thin and can hear every movement / conversation in the room next to us. we were on ground floor and had a very strong smell of sewage. The ground maintenance staff are very loud of a mornings and begin work around 7.30am so if you like a lie in I would avoid. In regards to the area Puerto De La Cruz if you enjoy spending your evenings with a meal and a cocktail bar I would definitely avoid this area, me and my partner only ate out a hand full of times due to the lack of restaurants in which were not very nice. There is not much to do and this area is definitely for the locals and not for tourist. You can get a taxi for 5 euro into the “square” but again there is not a lot to do.
