Me and husband went for my birthday and what can I say. This hotel is just so beautiful. Excellent service, excellent staff, amazing hotel. Love love love! Restaurant staff were so helpful and cooked what ever we wanted. Malina who cooked the omelette was always smiling away and so helpful.
Boutique Villa Filaus
4.7/563 Reviews
We loved our stay at Villa Filaus. The house has been converted very nicely to accommodate individual suites. Anita was so sweet at checkin and provided a map which was very helpful. Parking is super convenient on property and you won’t need your car the entire trip. You can walk everywhere!! Beautiful pool and gardens. The breakfast is SO good! I read some reviews about it being inconvenient before our stay but we loved the restaurant, staff and food and the morning stroll which took 3 minutes is lovely. We would definitely stay here again!!
Hotel Adria
4.4/5106 Reviews
The hotel is located close to the road. If you drive from Zadar, you can see the sign on the roof after crossing the bridge. The parking lot is relatively spacious. It's convenient for access. The beautiful harbor of Dubrovnik can be easily seen from the balcony of the hotel.
Hotel Lapad
4.3/5107 Reviews
Very nice hotel, good location, near the pier, take bus No. 6 at the entrance to the castle and it's only a few stops away, and it's only a few hundred meters to the nearby Lapad Commercial Center. The hotel reception is warm and polite, the room design is reasonable, clean and tidy, the facilities are complete and convenient, and the hotel also has its own paid parking lot, 10 euros per day.
Palmotta Palace

The apartments are ideally located just off the main street. If one arrives at Pile Gate there are minimal stairs to deal with which is a huge plus plus in the old town. Our apartment was on the first floor and featured high ceilings, a combined kitchen/dining/living room and separate bedroom. It was well appointed and attractive designed; we liked the combination of old world charm and modern conveniences. The staff, Carmen and Marko, were pleasant and helpful. Note that this is not a hotel and so they are not on site during evening hours, however they were responsive to email. The bed was decent but a bit soft for our liking. While the air conditioner provided some ambient noise, the apartment overlooks a restaurant in the alley and the street noise kept us awake. I suspect this is a common issue with old buildings and lower level apartments throughout the old town. Breakfast was included at Dalmatino's on the next street over. Our first hot breakfast at the restaurant was tasty and generous However, on our second day we took a packed breakfast due to a very early flight. The breakfast included juice boxes, fruit, sliced bread and packets of nutella, jam, cheese and butter but no napkins or plastic utensils. A pre-made cheese sandwich or croissant, fruit and a hard boiled egg would have been a much better bet in terms of taste and ease. Dubrovnik is expensive. The nightly rate for the apartment exceeded that of most of our hotels throughout two weeks in Croatia. We enjoyed the proximity to all the important landmarks for our first visit to Dubrovnik. On a subsequent visit I would consider booking a hotel outside the old town to enjoy more amenities for the price. Top must do's - a tour (Vlaho - Guru Walks), walking the walls at 8 am, a cable car to take advantage of sunset and a day at Lokrum Island. Fantastic!
Palacio Celeste

We had a lovely week in Dubrovnik. This property is in a great location in the centre of the old city. Our room was small but nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. The ensuite was also clean with large shower cubicle. The windows opened into a lightwell so no view of the streets, although I'm sure that is common within the old city. There is no staff on site. All communication was done via Whatapp or email. We didn't get entry instructions until the day of our flight which was a bit worrying. We struggled with luggage up the 3 flights of stairs on arrival and departure. Dubrovnik old city is beautiful but can get busy when the cruise ships come in. The streets are clean and the local people are friendly and helpful. Be prepared for lots of steps :)
