Budapest Hostels

The airport shuttle bus 100E drops only a few minutes walk away from the hostel. (30mins travel) Very useful. There is a socket and reading light next to each bed and I had a change of bedding on my second day. I feel that this is due to there being no bed bookings and you choose your own, so they don't know which bed is still in use. There's a danger you may lose your bed if you don't leave things on it. There was a shared bathroom with a toilet in it and a locker provided in the room too. I brought my own towel as this was not provided. There is shower gel provided in the shower. A really central hostel, though they're is a hub of bars directly opposite, so they're is a lot of noise until very late which means I had disrupted sleep both nights. Plenty of takeaway places close for quick bites to eat and lots of café spots close too. This hostel is also very close to get to the main sights and starts of walking tours also if you'd be doing this too.

Large room, large shower but the water had probably a lot of limestone and other irritants so much that my girlfriend and I became blond at the end of the holiday, and I suggest to male available some eye drops because the eyes after the shower immediately became very reddened and swollen, as an Italian I really appreciated the presence of the bidet, lack of privacy because we had two windows that didn't even close completely and we had only one transparent white curtain available, and that was a passage area and everyone could see us inside. We thank the honesty of those who welcomed us and warned about the possibility of receiving unexpected visits: ”thieves and clochards” and for safety they also wrote it inside the room, just right on the wall indicating the exact point from which they would enter. A unique, very clean and quiet hostel with a well-equipped kitchen; coffee, tea for free 👍. Very good location, you can walk everywhere. Service very nice and helpful. They arranged for us to park close by for 15 euros per day. I heartily recommend.

Get what you pay for. Reasonable stay. Great location with transportation nearby and walking to most spots. Bed comfortable enough. Get a towel and a locker (bring a padlock). Bathroom wasn't very clean unfortunately. No privacy curtain is a little annoying. Cafe downstairs and a co-working space. Friendly check in and out. Had a loud snorer so didn't get much sleep (not hostels fault) but it's a risk you take

STAY HERE! Made a mistake on my booking by getting the mixed dorm however I wanted a female room, they changed it at reception without hassle and no extra charge (€27 for 3 nights) the room is very clean, the beds are comfy and you get a privacy curtain, light, plug and hangers in your little pod. There’s a few showers, hairdryer and toilets next to the room and a place to get ready in the morning (very clean) there is a bar downstairs with tvs and also serving good food, there’s chill places to sit outside the room and a rooftop. - 1 min walk to a shop - In the centre, short walks to landmarks - A bus to the airport 10 minute walk away - Bolt, buses and trams to get everywhere Would definitely stay here again!

One flaw that was able to ruin my stay in Budapest: IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. I understand it's a hostel, I understand it's a ”party hostel”. I did not expect a deathly silence, but blaring music cannot be tolerated! The unbearable bass. Not even the caps could save me. There is no roof between the floor with the rooms and the floor with the bar / nightclub. The first night they disconnected at 6.30 am, the second night at 3.00 am, the third night at 4.00 am.

At 59 this was my first stay at a hostel and I have to say it was fantastic. This one was situated in a perfect location next to the Basilica and easy to get anywhere either by walking, bus or the metro. I was staying close to a dental clinic that I was having trea**ent at which was less than a 5 minute walk. The hostel itself is a beautiful building and was kept exceptionally clean. I shared a room of 10 and saw many come and go as many were only there for a night. Although sleep wasn’t great due to the number of young people it was something I resigned myself to and not let it bother me. I’m nosy as hell so couldn’t wait to find out names, countries of origin and where they’d travelled. I understand there are many standards of hostel and I’m happy to say that this was great. It had a fully fitted kitchen, washing facilities and thankfully air conditioning as it was high 30 to 40 degrees. The staff were very kind and helpful and run a very organized ship. Thanks all for a great first time experience and rest assured I will be back ❤️❤️❤️

We lived together in room 203 for 6 nights. The super small room. The width of the room is a bed and two chunks. The entrance does not have hooks for top clothes and bags, you have to go in shoes to the closet, which is not very convenient. At first we didn't clean, then when asked on the 3rd day, started cleaning. The cleaning is that they had to fill the bed and throw out the trash. The floor was not washed. Way-Fi is perfectly catching, it is necessary to take into account that on each floor your network (fullmoon, fullmoon3) and the password from them is the same. In general, noise didn't interfere. Since the settlement, the first two days were asked to repair, but nobody did anything. Bed is a fan board on which the mattress is 5 cm tall from the top. Sleep is really uncomfortable. Pillows are transparent, bad. Bed of norms. Breakfast is fed in a bar next door. Outside is not too attractive, but actually very delicious. The location is the fat plus the whole host. The result is a budget option for non-candidate tourists.

I was nervous that a customer had a booking accident in the review, but it was great. Great view and guests and staff to rest for a while for a day, and the facilities were good for the price. It was great to walk around especially in the middle of the park. It was a pity that there was no convenience store, but I was able to buy a little snack at the reception. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend Equity Point hostel to anyone. The rooms are so clean, the staff are so lovely and helpful, and it is an absolutely perfect location - so many attractions, bars, and restaurants close by. Momo - one of the staff members - made us feel so welcome and was so much fun and very helpful. It has a lovely bar / common area where you can relax with a coffee or a cocktail. Equity Point has amazing value for money. We will definitely be back again.
