Bali Hostels

Lokal Bali Hostel is a cute hostel with a nice swimming pool. Perfect location (right by the main street). About 5 minutes drive to the airport. SUPER clean - even the bathrooms are extremely clean. Bed size are bigger than normal twin size and very comfortable. Private curtain for each bed. LOVE the locker they provided. Locker is big enough to put in your carry-on luggage and VERY SECURED. The staff is really nice, especially Miss. Putri. She is so sweet and extremely helpful. She will do her BEST to help make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. She is the BEST!!!. I highly recommend this hostel. I assured you will be happy at this hostel. Just one minor down-side - WIFI is very weak.

Lovely hostel. We stayed for 2 nights in a double room, very nice room with comfortable bed. Nice hot shower which is a bonus. The standout of the hostel were the hosts. They were extremely helpful, whether you need a boat to another island, taxis, motorbikes, they couldn’t do more to try and help and make your stay as good as possible, would definitely recommend purely based on them alone. If we ever revisit Nusa Penida I would definitely stay here again just so I could meet the hosts again, honestly they were amazing.

Such a great place to stay. I moved here from another hostel in Canggu, other hostel wasn’t so nice and the way it was laid out made it a bit hard to meet people easily. I went to mojo surf and stayed in a shared dorm. Made loads of friends really easily, went surfing with the camp 2 mornings and got a lot out of it, met Intam who is one of the coolest people to walk the planet. A really great place to stay, everyone is really friendly, glad I found this place.

It was nice to be able to find accommodation in this good location in Ubud, Bali. Some things may need to be improved. However, kind family members remain a very good memory. I think it's a good accommodation where the guests use the clean part of the accommodation well. Let's make good memories in beautiful Ubud. Thank you.

Well, avocado chocolate chip/mocca ice-cream ain't bad from the shop downstairs. The monkeys are plentiful on the walk into Ubud to go to the supermarket - Coco's. $7 Australian puts you in the location at yellow coconut village - Nyuh Kuning. Beds are comfortable and everything is clean. A Go-Jek scooter made the trip from the airport in an hour or so for 200,00 or 300,00 rph can get you a car though you my be asked 800,000 lol You have access to a pool through a sister hostel - Lagas Hostel nearby. Kememai is next to a primary school and a playground is diagonally opposite where some kick soccer. A comfortable cheap restaurant is nearby. Staff are humorous and breakfast is provided on the third tier which is the roof-top hangout. Wifi works consistently. Its location, location, location and never seems to be over-booked so has space, For the budget traveler, its ideal. For the backpacker, worth a stay. Away from the tourist conundrum of Ubud inner city itself which can be too much in your face, Kememai offers a retreat yet with walking access to Ubud bypassing the monkey forest, You will love it. And there are lots of parents wirh children as the location is super-safe do not give the monkeys a banana or they willj ump you.......

1, the location of the hostel is not the beach, but you can walk to Dream Beach and Devil's Tears, and you can ride a bike from the hostel 10 minutes away from Ellow Bridge and 18 minutes from Blue Lagoon. 2. Very close to canggu beach, the place is spacious with an interesting design. Two indoor pools and many table and chairs in different parts or the premises. The staff are super friendly with great atittude which makes that place amazing. Nothing to complain about aside from how the bathroom is built inside the dorm Hahaha. Also it would of been great since they do have plenty of space to have a little kitchen for guests to use for light cooking. If that was there,that place can be the greatest in Canggu...

Staff very friendly and helpful, bed came with a breakfast which got changed to half pizza, big bathroom with lot of showerrooms, washroom with shampoo, soap and hair dryers, the rooms have no storage so it gets really messy since everyone puts their stuff on the floor and there isn't a lot of space for that, no windows in the rooms, there were some problems with electricity - the power was going off and on, had a good night sleep though and it was an okay hostel experience

Overall, it's cheap and the location is really good, but it's a lot of inconvenience as it's used by many people and it's a bit noisy. If you want to be quiet, this isn't the place, but if you want to save money, I highly recommend it.
