Unconventional Sorrento Coast
4.5/572 Reviews
While looking for a reasonably priced accommodation during the peak season in August, I found this hotel located a little bit away from Sorrento. It is close to S.agnello Station and there is also a bus stop nearby for major tourist attractions such as Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi, so there was no problem getting around! I didn't know breakfast was included, but I was able to start my morning happily and heartily with a breakfast that was better than I expected. All the staff were friendly, the hotel was cute and cozy, and the rooms were spacious and clean, so I had a great time staying there during my 2-night, 3-day trip to the south.🍋
Hotel Corallo Sorrento
4.5/562 Reviews
We stayed at the hotel in April 24. The staff were genuinely friendly and would go out of their way to help. The views from the hotel are amazing and it really retains an art deco charm. It was early season when we went so not everything was set up, but I didnt have an issue with that. I would stay again.
Hotel Alpha
4.2/560 Reviews
Hotel Alpha served as a comfortable homebase for excursions to the historical sites in the area, with pleasant gardens surrounding the buildings. Nearby the Sant'Agnello train station, it was easy to get to Pompeii, Herculaneum and others along the line between Sorrento and Naples. Though the journey to Naples itself is an over an hour on the train, so perhaps not the best location if you plan regular visits to the city. It is also close to various local stores, cafés and restaurants. The hotel experience itself was good for the most part, though we only really spent out early mornings and evenings here. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The buffet style breakfast offered a good choice. The evening meals had its high and low points, overall was good with daily menus that offered a lot of options. Some of the evenings was also accompanied with live music which added to pleasant atmosphere. The Gala dinner on Saturday evening was notable, with beautiful piano and a theatricality to the night. The rooms were comfortable and air-conditioning with a daily cleaning service. The balconies were spacious though the view varied by floor (I was on the first floor and it was not a particularly good view). The only faults i could mention from my one week stay was the bar, which while extensive in it's selection, I did find a bit overpriced. Additionally, there was no option to pay for drinks as we ordered and could only be put on the rooms tab, though that last point is minor. I also felt that the hotel, while very nice for the most part, did feel shabby in some areas. I felt this most prominently in the dining area, where the floors on some mornings did not look particularly clean from the previous evening and on one morning we had ants around our table. I must preface however that while this sounds bad, it was only a single instance of such severity.
Grand Hotel la Pace - All Inclusive

When we first arrived the reception area was stunning, It was hard not to just stand there open mouthed… we found this hotel to be very authentic, it had an Italian aura which was very soothing. The room was very nice and clean ( this for me was important), yes we had a bed that where two singles pushed together but we didn’t find it hard to sleep next to each other, the view out the window was of a derelict building but we never found any issue with this, as we never paid for a room with a view, but in fact it turned out really well as we couldn’t hear any traffic and was quite quiet. The food was good and catered for our dietary requirements as we are really awkward with our intolerances. The maitre d’ couldn’t of been any more helpful if they wanted to be, the serving staff we found to be very serious in what they do, not rude, but still very helpful… The hotel is on a slight hill about 10 min walk from the main road, 12-13 min walk from the train station and 30 mins from Sorrento where we went on a free guided walk.
Seven Hostel & Rooms
3.8/540 Reviews
I had a mostly good experience at Seven Hostel. The dorms were nice, with comfortable beds and great air conditioning, making for a pleasant stay. The hostel offers a tasty breakfast and has an amazing chef on the rooftop who prepares delicious meals; the kitchen staff were friendly and provided excellent service. While the bathrooms could have been cleaner, the overall atmosphere was welcoming. The location isn’t the best, but it’s conveniently close to the train station, making it easy to get around. Despite a few drawbacks, I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the value offered.
Villa Crawford
4.3/559 Reviews
I spent a restful weekend at Villa Crawford at the close of September. The staff are the jewel of the place. Everybody remarks upon how welcoming, friendly and helpful they are. They really do go above and beyond what you might expect from them. They took account of my personal circumstances in an exceptional manner and thus I really enjoyed my stay. I spent most of the time inside the hotel as the weather was changeable. The food was delicious and I would not hesitate to recommend Villa Crawford as a great choice of venue for a weekend away on the Amalfi coast. Consigliato proprio. Top!
