Iroha Grand Hotel Kintetsu Nara Ekimae
4.7/5282 Reviews
Close to shopping streets and stations, within walking distance to museums and Todaiji Temple. There are supermarkets, convenience stores, drugstores, coffee shops downstairs...it is very convenient for travel and dining. The room size is ideal, the facilities are complete, and the soft and hard furnishings are all online. The only dissatisfaction during my stay: there was no advance notice of the fire drill. I woke up to the alarm in the morning. The first playback was in Japanese, which was completely incomprehensible and very embarrassing. The Indian front desk receptionist upon check-in should remind guests that there will be a fire drill the next morning. Judging from the reactions of other guests, they must have known about this beforehand.
Hotel Neiraku

The location of the area is very good. It is next to Ruocao Park. In addition to self-check-in, it makes people feel that the head is big. The test of English is good. The price and service match. Health is also OK.
Centurion Hotel Classic Nara Station
4.4/574 Reviews
The hotel is near to Nara Station JR. just 10 minutes walking. Also is very close to the Nara Park and so many places for food around. The room is big, lots of space. Bed is very comfortable and bathroom is good. The service is really amazing. I arrived before the check in and they sent my luggage to the room directly. Very recommended.
Tenpyo Ryokan

The location is right in the shopping street and also at the Kintetsu exit, it is only 15 minutes to go to the park. The staff is warm and courteous, the hot springs are fine but quiet enough. The hotel is old but tidy, there is no daily necessities except old towels, including a blow dryer in the hot spring area, and there is nothing towels lock. Of course, this price can't be too much, remember this is a hotel. I was impressed by the invincible location and courteous staff, I can't say whether I like it or not.
Guesthouse Naramachi

Very traditional, very quiet, feel good hotel
Yuzan Guesthouse
4.6/529 Reviews
Before I joined my friends in Kyoto I spent a couple of days in Nara and stayed in this guesthouse. It's located on the edge of the old town and just a 5-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara station. The guesthouse is housed in a very traditional Japanese dwelling complex, ie you have to keep quiet if possible, as the walls aren't sound-proof. But I like this coz normally most cheap places to stay are full of noisy backpackers, but this isn't. I stayed in the dorm room, which is neat and clean. When I was there the host was doing experiment in pizza making so I tried a few slices of it, which tasted really good. The kitchen has almost everything so if you want to make your own meals it's possible. Highly recommend this place to anyone on the shoestrings yet looking for a decent place to stay.
