This was my first time staying here. Our room was directly above the terrace, so we could hear the lively chatter, which actually added to the travel experience in a fun way. I was a bit worried the noise might keep me from sleeping, but every night around 10 PM, it quieted down, and I was able to rest peacefully. I highly recommend buying groceries from the nearby supermarket and enjoying a meal on the terrace. Also, you can walk to the seaside promenade in about 10 minutes. It’s a safe location for a solo early morning stroll.

I booked a 3-bedroom apartment, but didn't have high expectations since it was a motel. However, it was cleaner than I thought and not bad at all. It's a bit far from the city center, so I had to use Uber frequently. Still, the accommodation fee was cheap enough that even with the Uber costs, it was still a good deal. It takes about 10 minutes by Uber to get to the city center, and you can just do your grocery shopping at a supermarket there and take an Uber back.

Easy access, all digital entry sent to mobile in a timely manner. Room was clean and fairly new. Great bed. Included shower items such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Great price. Many restaurants short walk away.

Super hostel! It has everything you need: shower, kitchen, pool, storage room, etc. The special beds offer a lot of privacy, plus they come with a fan, light, and power outlet. I highly recommend it; the staff are very friendly.

Overall, I was satisfied with the value for money. The location wasn't bad either, which was great because I could get around Brisbane to the city center and main attractions without worrying about transportation costs. The room was cleaner than I expected, and most importantly, it was convenient to connect my phone to the TV to watch shows. Cable TV worked well too. All in all, it's not a super luxurious hotel, but for this price, it's a perfectly satisfying place to stay!

Overall, this hostel deserves 4 out of 5 stars. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I especially liked the central location and the pleasant atmosphere. The common areas were also modern and comfortably designed. My only minor criticisms would be the noise at night and the somewhat small bathrooms in some rooms. Nevertheless, the stay was very enjoyable overall, and it offered good value for money.

Check-in and check-out are very convenient, sanitary facilities are complete, and cost-effective.

Photo's are misleading...makes the joint look lovely! The accommodation was cheap....because cleanliness obviously was not high on the agenda for this Motel!! Numerous cockroaches seen, looks as if a drink has been thrown at the wall and the pathetic little blinds next to the main entrance...??? A few missing so anybody walking past could easily look through the window!

YHA is consistently reliable, no matter which location you visit. Street parking upfront is okay during the day, but finding a spot after 7 PM—especially on weekends—is nearly impossible, forcing you to park super far away. On-site parking is available for $35 a day, but spots are very limited and virtually impossible to grab on weekends. The rooms are very clean, and shared bathrooms are cleaned at least 2–3 times a day with convenient changing space inside each shower cubicle. Towels are provided. 4-share dorms come with an ensuite, while 6-share dorms don't, but both offer plenty of space. The beds are comfortable and roomy, featuring clean pillows and duvets that easily top nearby hostels. Each bunk includes its own outlet, reading light, and locker. Reception hours are long and the staff are super helpful, making last-minute stays hassle-free. Building security is solid. The lobby and 5th-floor dining area provide great spots to unwind, and the kitchen is huge, clean, and exceptionally well-organized. There are also vending machines on-site for quick snacks and drinks.

I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip. The reception staff were very kind and lent me towels and a hairdryer. It was also really fun sharing a room with people from various countries, not just tourists, but also those on working holidays looking for jobs. I was a little worried about bugs. Of course, there were small insects flying around outside, but the room and shower room were fine. It was a great trip! Thank you.
